TOTD... Frieda Hannah’s Wrap

Today’s style was inspired by a scarf combination suggestion made by my good friend and fellow Wrapsister Frieda Hannah Christina Anne. It combines the Eyes of Blue Pashmina with the ensemble look worn by Andrea Herzog in the Wrapunzel add for the golden Israeli tichels. The styling incorporates features Frieda Hannah is fond of, such as pleats and an overall balanced feel to the wrap. I’m hoping she loves this wrap 💙💙💙

I am extremely grateful to Frieda Hannah for this suggestion as I would not have this amazing combination without her.

For this look I made one change from the kit Aundrea is wearing. In the photo she is wearing the taupe golden Israeli and I have chosen to wear the saffron golden Israeli.

The headband is the one from the chocolate dreams kit.

I am wearing a Wendy Beret Volumizer in the colour black.

In the photos I’m wearing blue makeup, including blue lipstick which is in the tutorial I filmed for this look. I did however change it when filming the introduction because it was a bit too much.

TOTD... Under the Sea

Water, Water everywhere... today’s rains put me in the mood for an aquatic colour theme for my Tichel. I even found my fun octopus earrings from Cape May.

TOTD... A dash of Red

It’s RED Friday! And to change things up a bit, I’m wearing just a sprinkling of red with my light grey bubble chiffon hijab. The red is my velvet Undercap that I’ve purposely left s sliver showing.

My makeup is shades of grey and silver and a bit understated to allow the focus to be on my rich and vibrant shade of red lipstick.

My outfit is a loose fitting tunic top with wide leg trousers. I will definitely be adding a bit of fabric to lengthen the trousers as I am not a fan of the current style of ankle length wide legs. Throws the line of the outfit off for me.

Inspired by the look I did the other day with The chocolate Dreams Kit and the NY brights, I put together this combination of silver, grey, and black.

I set the wrap a bit further back today because I’m clumsy and I bumped my head leaving the center front near my hairline sore.

So I finally have a way to organize my collection of scarves that’s easy to keep up with and that displays them for easy selection.

Bonus there are no holes in the wall and this can be easily moved when needed.

Also it was very inexpensive to build.

This is the final day for the challenge and I chose this scarf because it’s under utilized. I love the embroidery and it is soft and lightweight.

Scarf: XL T-shirt tichel

I’m thinking of today as upgrading the everyday. I chose this scarf because it’s comfortable, easily cleaned, and most of us have at least one T-shirt tichel. But honestly, it’s two days before thanksgiving and I’ve a lot to do and I want to feel glamorous while doing it.

Note: I would not typically pair this pin with this colour scarf, but I am trying to keep the variables consistent.😊

Inspired by the vintage earrings from either the 1980’s or 90’s. I love the combination of grey blue and olive and found that the best Tichel to pair with them is this Wrapunzel scarf. It’s a cranberry over one of my lowbun caps.
