Pieck and her dad constantly inviting Timeskip Bertholdt for Dinner. They know he’s lonely given his father died while Bertholdt was on the island and Bertholdt’s mom died when he was just a kid.

Wow this is a really good yet sad headcanon. I can see this happening perfectly, how much Pieck tries to make Bertholdt feel loved and part of something. She knows that it's impossible to overcome some feelings like loneliness; at the end of the day, Bertholdt is still going back to a silent house - not a home. Because home is where the heart is and he feels like his is no longer there... :')

Attack on Titan in HITA Museum 3rd Annivesary + New Illustrations

On March 27, 2024, Attack on Titan in HITA Museum will celebrate their 3rd anniversary.

To commemorate this celebration, the museum's Twitter feed was updated with new illustrations featuring old characters and Marley's warriors.

New illustration by Hajime Isayama featuring Reiner, Bertholdt, Marco, Historia, and Ymir for the 3rd Anniversary of the SNK Museum in HITA.

New illustration of the Warriors of Marley: Colt, Gabi, Beast Titan, Falco, Pieck, and Porco by Hajime Isayama.

We also get new updated hairstyles for Ymir, Marco, and Bertholdt, reflecting their timeskip appearances, alongside Reiner and Historia, sporting new ODM gear suits.

- Isayama's autograph will be given away at the app stamp rally, commemorating the museum's 3rd anniversary and 300,000 visitors. Participants can win autographed papers by Isayama by collecting three stamps in the "Attack on Titan in HITA" app's stamp rally.

Date: Saturday, March 23, 2024.

- Customers purchasing Attack on Hita goods will receive a commemorative sticker, featuring Isayama's handwritten signatures for the 3rd anniversary and 300,000 visitors.

So curious since seeing your art , what nations / benders you think the Aot cast would be in ??

Hi, I'm so glad you asked cuz I have a lot of thoughts about this (the most of them would be about Jean, Reiner and Mikasa)

Jean

I oscillate between him being a non-bender and an earthbender but an more so on the earthbending side. He is also a metalbender. I feel like his bending style wouldn't be as grounded as the traditional earthbending style and he would move around a lot, using his bending to help him get around places and increase his agility (like Dai Li who would run up the walls via their bending). Also I feel like that his bending wouldn't be as large-scale, he wouldn't be able to manipulate massive chunks of earth — his main strength would be the accuracy of his hits

Sasha&Connie

They're from the Earth Kingdom as well but don't posses bending abilities.

Mikasa

She has strong earthbending vibes, considering how she always chooses to face the danger head on. And her bending would be just very powerful and large-scale. I could just see her not moving from her spot while absolutely crushing her opponents. I don't see her possessing any sub-styles of earthbending though, she's got only the main one but she's *very* good at it.

Reiner

Major firebending vibes, given how in atla fire nation was portrayed as enemy. Moreover, he would definitely be the one to interpret the mindset of firebending wrong, making it out to be an aggressive form of bending that conveys only destruction and fueling it with his anger/hatred. Also, I see cadet!Reiner be able to gaslight himself to have the "peace of mind" required to generate lightning. Later, after post-timeskip he would lose this ability though

Bertholdt&Annie

Also fire nation. Playing on how docile Bert was given the most powerful Titan out of the main Nine, I see him as a combustion bender.

Annie seems like a non-bender. Despite this taking away a sort of a winning edge against Mikasa away from her, Annie possessing any kind of bending seems wrong to me.

Eren

It feels so wrong to make him an air nomad yet the airbending mindset just suits him so well — it being about freedom and giving up material things, similar to what Eren's had. But also the fact that airbending is considered the deadliest really plays well into it.

Armin

Assigning bloodbending to someone as manipulative as Armin is a low-hanging fruit but I'm going to do it. Not even concentrating on the fact that waterbending would be the main style for him in that case. Maybe he would also be quite resourceful in his bending, pulling water out of unconventional places like air moisture

Also Reiner at any other time: "So, guys, we are letting Jean alive no matter what, yeah? Good, thank you for understanding"

Now I can't help but imagine panicked Reiner fucking up and yelling "ANNIE!!" instead of "JEAN!!" when Jean is about to get killed by her during the Female Titan arc. Reiner "Not according to keikaku" Braun.

He didn’t want to kill Jean back then, he really didn’t do much to try to kill him during the Return to Shiganshina arc or during the post-timeskip battle… Reiner is playing favorites.

Now, let’s imagine Jean is the one to confront Reiner and Bertholdt in Trost (I know he would never do that, he’s not that naive):
