I'm binge-ing my way through Steddie fics atm. But also The Golden Enclave by Naomi Novik, The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber, and Unbearable Temptation by R. O'Leary

currently working on: a bunch of outlines for fics and some sketches. but no concrete showable work atm :((

favourite colour: Bluueeee (But also gold and dusty pink)

sweet/savoury/spicy: I alternate between craving sweet and savoury. But savoury is moreso my go to.

coffee/tea/cocoa: Cocoa or chocolate milk adjacent things are my fave. But I'll drink coffee some mornings and sometimes tea at night.

craving: Juice or Soda. Neither of which i currently have :(

I love your doc titles~ uh, but for the ask game: quirkless solidarity!!

haha thank you! and oooh quirkless solidarity is a newer one. it was born from my frustration with the first bnha movie: Two Heroes. There’s a character introduced named Melissa, who is quirkless, and there’s a ridiculously out of character moment where Izuku tells her to stay behind and out of the fighting bc of that. 

So I decided to rewrite that moment and then have Izuku later admit to Melissa he was quirkless too, and now I’ve got a bunch of fun disconnected moments of Melissa and Izuku having fun quirkless inside jokes ghkjhgh. no idea where it’s going, it might just stay a bunch of fun separate moments, but it’s been a nice wip to work on when the angst of my current long fics gets to be too much for me. 

Here’s a snippet!

“I’ve got some new memes to show you too - you will not believe how active the forum has been since you helped me set it up.” Melissa continues.

Izuku smiles, “I’m so glad it’s been a success! I haven’t been able to check it too much because of how rigorous our hero training has been lately.”

“What forum?” Todoroki asks curiously.

Melissa and Izuku freeze, as if they’d forgotten their friends standing there while off in their own bubble for a moment. They share a glance, and something secretive passes silently between them.

Then Melissa begins to smirk, and Izuku’s eyes widen. 

“Melissa don’t do i-”

“It’s a forum about toes.” 

Izuku immediately wraps his arms around his head and lets out a muffled scream into his own bicep. 

“... Toes?” Todoroki repeats, baffled. Uraraka, Iida, and Tsuyu all give Melissa and Izuku similarly baffled looks, lips twisted up and brows scrunched in confusion. It’s clear none of them expected an answer quite like that, and their brains are having trouble computing it. 

“Among other things.” Melissa adds with a cheerful tone.

“Yeah, like teeth.” Izuku mutters from his arms.

Melissa spins on him, “Just wait till you have to get yours out too!” She shouts, “You won’t be laughing so much anymore, and then I’ll have the blackmail material!”

When I first watched Avatar I definitely wanted a sequel, but now I'm just meh. I'll watch it for some pretty/cool environment and monster design tho.

Yeah like... I don’t even say “does anybody care about Avatar anymore” as a snarky, rhetorical question. It’s... a legit question. 

The film was SO HYPED when it first came out but nobody talks about it anymore, possibly because it’s major draw was how STATE OF THE ART!!! everything was and technology has continued to march forward since. How do they plan to keep a series that was pretty much all style to begin with fresh, anyway? Is each new one going to be a new 2 hour tech demo that boosts the world of VFX forward again? I mean, as an animaion/VFX nerd that’d be kinda neat, but.... IDK.( Ironically, thinking about this makes me wanna go back and watch the film again to see how the VFX held up. )

I absolutely adore FNAF's lore. It's convoluted and so fun to try and piece together. Plus Scott's personal story is so inspiring? Like he was in a pretty bad spot in his life. People were criticizing his previous game so heavily, and he took that criticism and made it his inspiration.

SCOTT IS SUCH GOALS like i really really admire his work even if not every piece of work is top quality (ex: the books) the fact that he’s produced so much usable and exciting content over the past.... 4?? years???? like holy shit???

guilty secret i actually love the game theory channel and matpats monotonous heterowhiteboy voice is incredibly soothing and i watch his fnaf theories like once a week because they’re weirdly soothing to me????

Hi, umm about Mark defending Pewdiepie. The video he put out in response to Pew's actions was about how we should respect people regardless of our differing opinions (at least that is the jist I got from it and his responses to comments here on tumblr). I feel like he was just trying to stop people from hurling labels and saying people should be killed. I do still understand if people are uncomfy with his handling of the situation, but I just wanted to let you know.

Yeah I watched his response for myself and that’s why I made a post about like going to the source of things (I was too tired to make a second post about the youtube situation). I completely get what Mark’s trying to say. Like he even said he doesn’t condone what Felix did and yet people are still trying to make him sound bad for defending his friend. He’s defending him, but not supporting him. He literally says that in his video and people are disregarding it because he didn’t bash someone who did something wrong or whatever.

Bit of a out of the blue question- for my fantasy writing class we are required to create encyclopedia entries for different magical creatures/items/etc. And I am super interested in doing one on the Cait Sidhe (you partially influenced this with your talk of them back during Halloween). Do you happen to have any references/sources about them other than wikipedia (my teacher would prefer we not use it)?

If it helps at all it is originally from Celtic Mythology and has several variations on the story telling, the two main ones of which are that the creature is a fairy cat, and the other that it is a human witch that can transform into a cat nine times (speculated to be the source of the ‘nine lives’ myth) 

It is spelled, thanks to loads of different translations, as Cait Sidhe, Cait Sith, Cat Sidhe, and Cat Sith. It is typically portrayed as a black cat with a patch of bright white fur on its chest. Funnily enough, they have been reported in mythology as being somewhat mischievous, but for the most part they just hang out and keep to their own business while being aware of everyone elses. 

I am infatuated with them as well as Kitsunes, if you need ideas for your entry on either i am so down to help lol. So if you need anything let me know!

I'm trying NaNoWriMo this year! Been a long time since I've worked on my writing. So I'm gonna try and hammer out a bit of a novel I concepted out in college.

Decided to go easy on myself for the first day of NaNo and do some re-writing of snippets from a couple years ago.

~1500 words down! n.n
