In memory of Judith Holmes Clarke, who passed away earlier this year in March.

She was one of the leading artists for the Disney Fairies book series (and one of few Disney credited). Her art shaped the brand to the point it was even featured in the end credits of the first Tinker Bell movie. Judith passed away the same year Disney Fairies series celebrates its 20th anniversary 😢

I'm sorry I didn't say it sooner, but thank you, Judith, for being my inspiration for so many years. I only wish I could've said it in person. May your soul rest in peace

I am obssessed with @neytui's fairy au that's been living rent free in my head and for this year I wanted to do something different. So I drew Jack as a winter fairy on the bridge that connects the seasons, like the one in secret of the wings.

Thinking about how Queen Clairon and Lord Milori probably became like teenagers all over again, sneaking off together, giggling and holding hands constantly, trying to make up for all the lost time, but also not being able to stop this young feeling as their love was put on pause and they are simply continuing from where they were, furthermore, the energy and life their love brings each other, being reunited brought back hope and peace. I love them dearly and I think Fairy Mary and Dewey (The keeper) are absolutely sick of them.
