Thunderbird 1 and hangar progress: I love replicating these small details the best I can and the diving board is an example... Thunderbird 1 and hangar progress: Here's my palm tree sample... Simply a plastic rod 7 - 8 cm in length wrapped in a strip of sticky backed paper. Hit with grey primer and a dove grey chalk spray paint and then Vallejo paints to colour. The leaves were simply cut out on sticky backed paper and then a piece of florist wire placed down the centre and then stuck to a standard piece of paper.
