Family christmas was a SUCCESSSSS i had four glasses of wine and then my annoying ass cousin became BEARABLEEEEE !!!!! Took home soo much broccoli cheese casserole and chocolate cake and i cannot overemphasize the FREE WINE and i looked so good with my little gold hoops red lipstick and eyeliner !!!! White button down and 501s and my black leather cowboy boots you have done so much for me!!!!!!!! Butchness is whatever you want!!!!! Mens clothes and makeup and i felt like a million bucks !!!!

It's important that my cats have different genders because I can say "you're my favorite girl in the world!!!!!!!!!!" to one of them and "you're my favorite boy in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!" to the other and I will always be right because they're not in competition with each other. if one of my cats came out to me as trans I don't know what I would say to them

I am SO excited about my next project after peristalsis bc it is a much happier one and I did slightly. Imply what it is a while ago but I think most everyone missed that so instead it will be a surprise :)

Thia depends entirely on how you do relative finwion ages, but consider:

If Fingolfin and Maedhros are age peers

And Fingon and Maglor are age peers

Among other things, that places Maedhros and Maglor with the same age gap as Feanor and Fingolfin

And I can imagine late adolescent/young adult maedhros being excruciatingly aware that his primary model of brother relationships is feanor and fingolfin.

Like, imagine someone saying cheerful nothing to maedhros at like, nerdanel's baby shower or social equivalent, about how he must be soooo excited to be a big brother or not be youngest in the family or similar,

And then there's just a lil awkward moment where everyone avoids mentioning Feanor's reaction to the same experience

I'm picturing... not like it's a source of anxiety or angst for maeshros. It's not something that really worried him. But it is a source for profound persistent social awkwardness, in a way that maybe he can never quite disassociate from his concept of maglor.

yelling into the void metaphorically about how I want to find people who care about the same causes I do, but that those causes keep shifting because I'm centering myself around different people who have different ideals, and mine are flexible almost to a fault. i hope to my core that i wouldn't be taken in by religious fundamentalism if that were how i'd been raised, but i can't rule it out. my willingness and ability to actively recenter my entire life is too great. i don't like it.
