now i might enjoy calling house a rat bastard for his mistreatment of like... virtually everyone around him, BUT u do kind of also have to feel bad for the guy. cannot so much as offhandedly mention that he is having a bad pain day without everyone and their dog trying to tell him it's psychosomatic and he's actually trying to treat his emotional problems by making them physical and that's Bad And Wrong

#literally every single time #and that on top of everyone who supposedly cares about him psychoanalyzing him at every other opportunity. as well #not just the pain related stuff #he does anything kind of bitchy and wilsons got to try to deep dive into his psyche & put on his stupid therapist hat #this isnt house-specific (though most commonly its done to him bc hello titular character) its just... everyone to everyone else #they do friendships so goddamn bad on this show #if my friends tried psychoanalyzing me at the drop of a hat like that unprompted 24/7 i would simply stop talking to them #tl;dr house can have little a bastard hours. as a treat
