When I watched the episode of Ted Lasso 3 today and the theme song started, I felt something was off. At first I thought it was the lighting on my phone playing tricks on me, but no.

You've all probably already noticed but here is a comparison between the S1/2 theme song final shot (on the left) and the S3 one (on the right). As you can see, the S3 one is considerably dimmer, the colours are less vibrant and, as someone else mentioned, this probably reflects Ted's mental health spiraling and his confidence slowly fading out.

As the show slowly goes on, I would love for it to get dimmer and dimmer, until the "Ted Lasso" on the bleachers is barely visible. And then for it to get back to it's initial brightness for the final episode.

It does hurt a lot that he tells Beard he loves him, and the Richmond boys all express their love, but we never hear an “I love you” between Ted and Rebecca. Not even romantic, just…anything. Because they do love each other. Their lives have completely changed because of the other. They have hurt and healed and through it all, he was there. She was there. Both of them, always right there.

Thank you is lovely, but it would have done so much to hear them express their love to each other.
