Mishka is brutal. Also, feral cats cant easily eat slices of salami (I never fed a cat salami but my neighbor with dementia sometimes tries it). It's very salty so many of them make that stink face. Those who can get a bit have to use both paws and pull and its sticky. Better to feed cats cat-food which we know they can eat.

Miss Appletini Cosmopolitan Shirley Temple (Tini or Teense) is officially an indoor cat! She was a tiny TNR feral I fed for a few years, and brought her with me when I moved. She stayed on the enclosed patio (fig. 2) for a few months with forays into the main house and now has moved in and gotten a sweet collar with gold stars and a bow. Managed to get 4 of the 5 feral cats(henceforth known as the Clito 5) trapped last night. Rain put the kibosh on trying to get the last one. I didn’t feel right going to bed with the trap out and it raining all night. Will try for that one another weekend. Pic 1 - is possibly female (vaccination record says male but volunteer said female. Get to check that before I release them). Depending on the sex this baby will be Tiger or Lily. Pic 2 - is male and is Dude. Pic 3 - is male, the father of the other 3. He is Mr. Fluffer. Pic 4 - Another male, he is Lil’ Fluffer because he’s the spitting image of Fluffer. The remaining cat is a black female, the mom, and she is Void. Thank you Deb & @statesborohumanesociety for the traps and running the Cat Program. Thanks to @fixingtheboro for doing the spay/neutering of these babies. I love that there is finally a TNR program in my county. It makes me sad that so many feral cats keep being born because some people in my area of the US don’t know or understand how important it is to cut down on the amount of feral cats. As a result a lot of these babies end up eating garbage and dying without knowing love from humans. I may not get to pet these babies but I love them as much as I do my fur babies. So Sam has enjoyed his "final" meal before his snips appointment tomorrow morning. He got lots of cuddles, too. We cozied up the "catio crate" for him overnight. He's got a nice deep litter pan with cat attract in it, a mounted water dish to reduce spillage, and a piece of foam board with a heat pack and two towels on it. He's well covered to reduce drafts and visual stimuli. Rest little buddy. Posted @withregram • @_lovedatlast 11 community cats went for spay/neuter yesterday! 7 girls and 4 boys. Everyone did great and all are officially back at their colony homes tonight. We made great progress at the Lewis colony, snagged 2 newbies from Bobbidy's colony, and got some stragglers at other colonies. Others were supposed to go, but lots of things fell apart and some people were difficult, which left me scrambling and short on cats for the appointments. But that doesn't matter now because these 11 are done and won't be making any babies!! 👏👏 The lady on site at the Lewis colony is super helpful and on top of it, as is Bobbidy's mom. They can always be counted on to lighten my workload when helping cats at those locations. 🥰 Next week another 30 cats will be going in, mainly from 3 colonies. (Yep, I'm going to be very tired by the end of next week!) We are still short sponsors for 3 of this week's crew. Still need to raise $150, then we need to work on $700 for next week's. Thankfully most of next week's are already covered, but we need to pull the rest together.
