Wolf Hunter AU 🐺🗡️

(What if you were born with the ability to turn into a giant wolf and you still bitch about not being born with a Crest) Basic premise is that Miklan is not only a brigand terrorizing Northern Faerghus, but hes secretly the fabled wolf thats been prowling around Itha plains. Your muse could be the hunter gunning to take down either the brigand or beast, a knight/mage discovering the true nature of the disowned son - the ball is 100% in your corner. I'm flexible with either making this take place in a more general fantasy setting for non-Fodlan Muses.

Harvest Moon AU 🌙💮

In celebration of Grand Bazaar, I figured why not have a Harvest Moon AU 🥺 Miklan is the sketchy asshole neighbourhood delivery guy who handles all of your shipments. As the seasons change, it remains a constant that whatever goods you're shipping - he'll be there to ferry them off for you.

((Hello!! With Constance here, and Niamh well overdue for some new threads, here's a list of Tasks for May that these characters are interested in (crossed out = taken; blue = starter exists)

Constance (honestly anything for her, but these are the main ones):

Authority (Needs GD) - let's go on a funny fetch quest together!

Reason (Needs GD) - Constance would absolutely want to whip up a solution - most likely with magic. Depending on the muse, you may be trying more to ensure she doesn't get caught testing her theories than coming up with a solution yourself. w/lachesis

Any Skill - Constance would be suspicious at first, but the promise of treasure would hook her in. (Depending on where the portals go, her sunny side might have a few words about it, though.) w/petra

Ice Skating - This one's just fun! Ideally best with someone who can provide a ton of optimism at the inevitable slip-ups. w/yuri

Birthday Gift - Of course she has a welcoming gift for the ball! Who doesn't? (She doesn't). Let's panic together. /w mercie (awaiting starter)

Heavy Armor - Constance might have fun with a muse who's manning the stall - possibly considering if there are any way to help lighten the weight of these oversized garments? But also, she's probably on a budget, so a shopping trip with another muse would be fun as well. w/lene

Niamh:

Reason (Needs GD) - Niamh would be more curious about the why over finding a solution to the problem - but would help sleuth with a partner if so desired.

Dye Prompt (Needs GD) - Niamh would be curious about the tradition, and especially given the number of plants she grows back at home, might take note of how they use them for her own use later.

Hidden pathway (Needs GD) - unexplored tunnels? Let's go! Niamh sees no reason why she can't go exploring, and is curious what flora grows where no one goes. w/nanna

Any Skill - Niamh wants to know how the portals work, and whether or not the monsters compare to the ones that were running about a few months back. Add a puzzle to this and she's more than happy to pull a suspicious or less willing person along for the ride. (Or are you running in to make sure she doesn't get herself hurt?)

Hi everyone! Sanaki’s got a couple things planned already, but she’s so new and I would love to get some threads started :) 

Mission tasks (needs unaffiliated chaperone / partner in crime): 

[Any skill +1]: She would be so bad it would be so funny. You could try to help her not blow her cover? Or contribute to the chaos in whichever establishment unfortunate enough to hire her… if your muse is just as inept at being a regular person.

[Riding +1]: Sanaki takes rumours of rabid dog + human experimentation very seriously and would practically use any means to get to the truth. Yes, she’s reminded of the laguz slavery of Begnion and perhaps being a little too reactionary. However, those feral dogs would tear her apart and what would we do with a dead Empress? (please keep my girl alive she’s a little stupid when she’s angry. thanks)

Non-board plots:

With some free time on her hands and no nagging Holy Guards around, Sanaki has taken to exploring the monastery grounds on her own. If she runs into any friends (or begrudging allies) from Tellius, she would stop and say hi!

In general, she is aiming to introduce herself to nobles and people in power, both for Fodlan itself and other foreign nations. She will be polite, but depending on the impression she gets of your muse she might not be friendly.

Wanted Plots for what is this April? Oh god it's April...

I think the ice skating prompt is really cute! I'd be down to pick it up for either Altena or Deirdre, your choice! With Deirdre, it will more likely be flavored like her just happy to be here to try something new. It's fun and exciting! Altena will probably end up more competitive about it unless she ends up doing horribly (I think it would be funny to let dm decide) in which case she might be more frustrated. Though neither of these directions are set in stone, just some initial ideas and thoughts.

I'm looking for someone fashionable who'd be willing to convince Altena to spend her money on the ball gown she really likes instead of pulling an ill fitting early 2000s zebra prom dress off the sale rack and calling it a day. She wore the same dress two years in a row but it blew up in the war so now I get to have fun making her wear something new but I'd like an ic reason other than just I want to haha. This could be a thread, a mini, an ask, or even just we say it happened so it happened off screen. Also would like someone to fix her hair for her and pull it up so the cool back of the dress she actually wants is visible. This could be the same person or someone different. Please help her she's so pretty she deserves better than clearance rack at the Deb.

Wohoo! Man, I can't believe that it's been almost 3 years since I wrote her last in TOA. How time flies.

Without further delay, quick vibe check for starters:

My Hinoka is post-Revelation. I'm willing to explore other routes' endings in AU threads, after some discussion and plotting with muns in question.

I currently write her as unmarried and without children. As of right now, I am not interested in changing that. Sorry, this isn't against anyone, there are just some negative past experiences involved in this aspect with Hinoka specifically, and the more I think about it, the more I realize that those three years were not enough time to completely recover from that. Part of why I want to give her a try again is to heal old wounds, so to speak.

Other than that, my standard stuff applies. Mentions of violence/gore/whatever are fine, no mentions of alcohol abuse with me please, I looove random unprompted IC asks, my mun page is here, all that good jazz.

Plotting call

Hinoka is unaffiliated, and as such can take any prompts! I'm open for any of them if you need a partner and would like to do one of those prompts with her. For my own part, I'd be interested in the following:

Researching nobles and connections - what do you mean she only just got here and they're sending her spying? Well, she supposes that if she's here, this is something she should know. I'd especially love to take this up with a Fódlanese who can tell her about all those funky families and their goings-on.

Any Skill +1 - what do you mean she only just got here and they're sending her spying? Since she recently arrived, she's a fresh and unrecognizable face, and thus shouldn't arouse suspicion. Sure, she'll play a stablegirl, and while she hasn't trained much in the field herself, she's seen ninjas at work - surely she can put that knowledge to use somehow?

Riding +1 - WHAT IN DAWN DRAGON'S TITS IS THAT

Lance +1 - she's gonna find it sooo stupid and sooo funny. She's gonna tear it a new one, whether just in private with you, in front of the class, or in public, and it's gonna be hilarious.

My own prompts - in addition to the mission board, I have the following personal ideas for interactions with Hinoka for those interested in saying hello to her:

Kinshi - as a show of positive relations and support for Garreg Mach's reconstruction, Hinoka brought with her several new Kinshi to Fódlan for the purposes of up and coming Kinshi Knights. Would you like to say hello to and learn about those beautiful birds? An expert is now available!

Royal chatter - Hinoka is open about her status as the princess of Hoshido, and she's more than happy to discuss matters of rule, responsibility and stuff like that with fellow royals.

Training session - pretty standard stuff. Hinoka can often be found training and is overall always available to throw hands, be it with a Knight, fellow Professor, or a student. In addition, I write her as using naginata rather than regular lances, in case someone wants to ask her why her spear looks Like That. Could evolve into an interesting chat about weaponry.

I'm of course also open to any other ideas you may have for an interaction!

-Turkeese: I just think her getting her butt kicked by a turkeese is a very funny concept. And it’s even more fun with an ally! Are they also getting their butt kicked by an angry bird? Or are they bailing her out of the situation?

-Ice Skating: She would be tearing it up on the pond, fast and agile, if not too fancy. Does your muse want to race? Learn how to skate? Mostly looking for Laylea threads to get her back into things. If you really want Forde for some reason, he is a golden deer.

Authority +1 (needs GD) who doesn't want to go on a pointless quest. Laylea has mixed feelings on the town's philosophy, which will become worse the longer she has to run around after these people.

Dye! I think it's cute and so does Laylea.

Ice skating! As a dancer I think Laylea would be pretty good, but she doesn't mind if her partner isn't at her skill level.

She's also open to any other interactions, reunions with Jugdral peeps, etc.

This is a continuation of when I wrote Laylea last year. In universe, Laylea dropped out last August because the academy wasn’t right for her, and returned to Jugdral. She’s returned to give it another shot (and cause she loved the ball)

Plotting Call for April!

It’s April, there’s plots, and this is a call!

To start off with, L’Arachel is a Golden Deer! So even if I haven’t directly listed an idea down below, I would still be very much willing to help out and interested if you need a deer! Or if you want a partner for the non-mission tasks!

Golden Deer tasks:

-Big Ole fetch quest: L’Arachel would absolutely love to get herself entwined in a massive fetch quest! Getting to meet a ton of new people and spread her name around is a big reward in itself. Whilst she wouldn’t keep on going forever, her patience for this would be quite massive, which I think could be fun to play off of.

-Magic bad: I’d love to explore this prompt as L’Arachel’s whole time in the monastery so far has been exploring different avenues of protecting herself and fighting monsters besides magic. It would be fun to discuss this with another muse, whether it’d be about expanding one’s abilities to better oneself in general, or adapting to what life throws your way.

-Wedding!: Getting to take part in a wedding custom? Getting to be a heroine that rescues the betrothed from being taken away? All while engaging in over the top theatrics? An absolute delight for L’Arachel, who would love nothing more than to play the hero. Will that go smoothly for her or not? Who knows!

Non-Mission tasks:

-Hunting birds: L’Arachel would get overconfident with her bow skills, get her ass handed to by the birds and then end up befriending them. I’m thinking very much a slapstick kind of thread for this, whether it’s both muses having their feathers ruffled or trying to keep L’Arachel out of trouble

-Furnishing: L’Arachel would love to help someone decorate their room alongside getting her own furniture. Now, is she good at decorating, you may ask? The answer is: L’Arachel would love to help someone decorate their room! (Not really!)

-Ice Skating: L’Arachel will stop at nothing to be the most graceful ice skater in the pond. No matter how many times she falls down very painfully. Want to give her advice? Want to laugh at her misery? Want to ice skate together with her in a whirlwind performance? Whatever you want, you’ve got it, here at the pond!

She has some experience now with interacting with merchants now, but she still feels a bit guilty trying to get them to lower their prices. ✧ wanted plots | february/march

The retaking of Garreg Mach and the defeat of Melanthios means the monastery has been rightfully returned to the academy, but it also means there’s plenty of rebuilding to accomplish. As a Blue Lion, Limstella is capable of taking on this entire mission board, and they can assist those who need the aid of a Blue Lion to do so! Here are some specific prompts they're interested in.

✧ Limstella (here):

Cuddly teddies and stuffies are by no means Limstella’s strong suit and not usually an interest of theirs. However, based on their understanding of humans, such objects are most likely to boost morale, which means greater efficiency and overall productivity. Fancy a chance to get them to attempt making the “perfect” plush? Mission! (claimed: Azura)

Limstella isn’t one for faith. Really, the only thing they believe in is Nergal, and after some very painful revelations during Epiphany, that faith has begun to slowly be undermined. They are curious to see what perspective these pilgrims can offer them in this area. Mission! (claimed: n/a)

As an elemental mage first and foremost, Limstella has the capacity to test out any new and experimental spells being made. Plus, they’re already pretty adept at Reason magic… perhaps they could be encouraged to come up with their own unique spell? Mission! (claimed: Sephiran) +1 Reason

During one of the supply runs, Limstella expressed curiosity about Matthias’s mount. As riding a horse, pegasus, and/or wyvern has proven an efficient mode of travel, perhaps this could be applied to tamed versions of these beasts? Feel free to grab them for beast training, as they’re more durable than most! Task! (claimed: Elise) +1 Riding

Limstella is very used to having a dorm room to themself, as it allows them to continue their studies at night without disturbing others. They have never had a roommate before, but maybe this will be good for them and perhaps allow them to make another friend. Task! (claimed: Ewan)

Most of the people Limstella knows were in the monastery army for the month, so they don’t have as much reason to join the search parties. If someone needs their assistance with these, however, they are able to help! Task! (claimed: n/a)

NEW: Limstella recognizes a couple of these civilians, actually. They are personally acquainted with the aspiring thief and the daydreaming cleric, having met the former when Lambert averted his steal attempt and successfully charmed the latter with their abilities and honesty. Any assistance with helping either of these people move in would be appreciated, as Limstella is not entirely certain of what all they both require. Mission! (claimed: n/a)

NEW: A waterproofing spell sounds like an endlessly useful tool, but what catches Limstella's interest about this enchantment is that it relies on faith, not reasoning. They simply need to test this spell out and dissect it to see how it works (and whether a morph is capable of having faith, and faith enough to make the magic go). Mission! (claimed: Lachesis) +1 Faith

NEW: After seeing their professors in action and the many swords for sale during the Verdant Rain Moon mission, Limstella is... nowhere near an expert at swordfighting. They have, however, recognized the necessity of being familiar with a variety of weapon types and thus arming oneself with backup weapons. If a swordsperson would like to use this endeavor as a lesson on where to get started, they will welcome any aid offered! Task! (claimed: Karel) +1 Sword

Having undergone an extended campaign in which they experienced much mental and emotional upheaval has Limstella needing the monastery back to normal as soon as possible. Though they don't realize it, Garreg Mach was beginning to become something home-adjacent to them, and seeing it in this state, now that they have the chance to do so, is discomfiting to them. Feel free to reunite with them while keeping in mind that they are running on near-empty reserves and the wall muting their emotions has severely thinned. Post-event! (claimed: n/a)

In another, futuristic world, Limstella is an android or cyborg performing the bidding of Valor Inc. CEO Nergal, perhaps downloading memories, biodata, etc. to enact his great plan. Is your muse a member of the Lycian Trust opposing Nergal, a bounty hunter aiming for the price on Limstella's head, or someone targeted by Limstella for electronic harvesting? How will they meet and react to our automaton doll? (If you have a specific sci-fi setting in mind for this, please bring it up with Vio, she wants to hear your thoughts!) AU! (claimed: n/a)
