11. Recommend a fic with an unusual/original headcanon or characterisation that you loved.

To Cast No Shadow by @tockamybeloved

The characterisation of Ronghao from Love Between Fairy and Devil, especially his internal thoughts in Chapter 7, are both confronting and fascinating. There are so many headcanons she's written that I love, but one that really stuck with me is how Ronghao made the evil qi refining cauldron, and that it cost him a portion of his pure cultivation (as Chidi can later instantly tell in canon, when she says his music is no longer 'pure').

13. Recommend a fic that features something you wish was written about more.

I just read the first chapter of The Road Without You, by @prolestari , and ahhhhh the angst! I love it because of the premise: what would happen if an epic love failed? Love Between Fairy and Devil is centred around an incredible and real love the two main characters develop for one another, and this fic does a post canon 'what if?' that's really excellent.

would be nice if I can start funding my own life, my mother has been berating me about her poor money management that she makes a fuss everytime I seek financial support. She keeps demanding my father fulfill those duties, but he also has a whole nother family to feed. She told me that both me and my little sister is not her financial responsibility. She said that we are simply charity work for her, tldr I want to stop financially depending myself on her.

Last Song I Listened To: Children's Work by Dessa, because I have a problem. Before that, it was I'm So Sick by Flyleaf because when I went looking for Spotify playlists of hard rock bands with female vocalists they were all populated with Christian bands from my teenage years. 😂

Currently Watching: Oh God. I just caught up on Game Changer, I'm almost caught up on Leverage: Redemption, I'm in the middle of a rewatch of H2O: Just Add Water (because of course I need to watch this show for tween girls from almost 20 years ago yet AGAIN), and I also need to finish watching Killjoys.

Sweet/Savoury/Spicy?: Sweet! In fact, I think I'm going to go get the last of the Thin Mints I have stashed in my freezer.

Relationship Status: Currently dating someone actually. It's kind of casual and also kind of a change.

Current Obsession: Can I pick my own AUs, lol? Because right now it's my Stephanie Brown/Sienna (Red Canary) fic. I am one of two people I know of who ships this pairing and the fic I'm currently writing is eating my brain. In addition to the six other WIPs I have going on that are also eating my brain.

D3, last day! First film we saw was called TOCKA and was an, again very depressing film about a man trying to find someone to kill him. It wasn't bad, the performances and plot were actually quite good but the film would not end it felt like an eternity. 3/5

Mountain woman was a fantastic film about a young woman from an ostracised family fleeing her famine stricken village to live in the mountains. The Q&A after with the very cute director and also actress Toko Miura was once again, for some reason hilarious thanks to language struggles, the translator herself and Miura-san struggling not to burst into laughter (also quite possibly cause we were so tired we just laughed about every fucking thing). 5/5
