If it wasn't for @nekromaenia recently following me I never would've known that Majors was still in business. The last time I was in Majors, they were still housed inside the entrance of a Pathmark. And as I said in a previous post, my first purchase from them was Somewhere In Time by Iron Maiden. Since Pathmarks everywhere went out of business by the time I moved to Jersey in 2015, I simply assumed Majors was gone. I'm grateful to find that I was dead wrong, as their newest location is not even that far from where they were. As you can see, I bought a few things today during a brief, fly by visit. Support your local music store if there's still one by you, they're a very RARE privilege to explore in the age of downloading. And nekro, since you're the reason I'm aware of the new location, here is a bit trivia for you. See that now closed T Mobile building that's just around the corner from Majors? Way back when, that was a Coconuts. Years later it was taken over by FYE until 2009, I think, when T Mobile bought the building from underneath them.
