" I’ve been out in the roads for about 2 hours now. They’re getting worse minute by minute. Lucas County is currently under a Level I snow emergency. I assume it’ll go to a Level II sometime soon. There doesn’t appear to be any ice underneath the snow, sliding has not been an issue as long as you’re driving slowly and carefully. Here are some tips from my morning observations: . . - If you have no reason to be out, stay in! - if possible, use the inner lane on all roads. - definitely give yourself enough stopping distance between you and the car ahead of you. - if you are at intersection and the light turns green, don’t hit the gas immediately. Take a second to look both ways to make sure nobody is sliding through the intersection. - Be safe!
