I got out for the first time today in a couple of weeks. My youngest daughter is not only getting married this year (as is my oldest) but she’s also moving out next weekend 🥺, so I went to see her house and take a few things over to her. Oh my gosh, it’s so cute! She’s moving to the Cherry Street area here in Tulsa which is considered part of mid-town. It is a neat part in town- within walking distance to awesome restaurants, bars, shops etc. It’s a charming old home that just needs a little TLC. I’ll move my office into her old bedroom as it’s at the front of the house, gets loads of bright light and the windows allow me to look out and can see when the mailman, UPS and/or Fed Ex drivers are here to pick up shipments. 😀 I went through some pictures of the last house we lived in and remembered these chairs shown here in the family room there. I think I may use them in her old room/my new office. I’m trying to think about the fun I’ll have decorating that room instead of how much I’m going to miss Ashton…although she’ll only be less than 2 miles away from me. There are lots of things changing in my life right now! That’s pretty much been most of how I spent my Sunday. I haven’t posted much the past few days. My 82 year old Mom totaled her car in an auto accident last week and has been in and out of the ER and hospital 4 times since. My brother, sister and I had already been alternating having her stay at each of our homes due to other health issues she is facing now. I just wanted to give an update to let those of you waiting for me to answer messages that that’s partially the reason I’m behind. I’m working on catching up and answering questions now. Happy Saturday afternoon! I waited up until 5:00 a.m. for Shawn to get home from TN and needless to say we slept in and are leisurely enjoying #coffee cup round 2! I lit a fire and have been playing around with the arrangement over my living room mantle. I removed the mountain painting that was over the two dog paintings and added two additional #dog paintings from another wall in this room. I also decided to keep the tole tray I picked up in TN and hung it in the center. I think I like this arrangement much better.
