JERRY EISENBERG (1937-Died February 11th 2025,at 87) American television producer, animator, storyboard artist, and character designer, primarily known for his work at Hanna-Barbera Productions and Ruby-Spears Productions.

Eisenberg was the son of Harvey Eisenberg, an animator and comic book artist associated with Tom and Jerry and the other characters from the MGM cartoon studio. They were of German descent. Jerry Eisenberg quit art school to take his first job, as an inbetweener for MGM, in 1956. The studio closed seven months after Eisenberg's hire, and he went on to work as an assistant to Ken Harris at Warner Bros. Cartoons.

In 1961, Eisenberg was hired at Hanna-Barbera Productions, run by former MGM cartoon producers William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Here, Eisenberg co-created The Peter Potamus Show; designed the characters on Wacky Races and Super Friends; and worked in layout on programs such as The Jetsons, The Huckleberry Hound Show, Jonny Quest and Wacky Races. In 1977, Hanna-Barbera alumni Joe Ruby and Ken Spears started their own studio, Ruby-Spears Productions, and hired Eisenberg as producer and character designer for Fangface, The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show and Thundarr the Barbarian Jerry Eisenberg - Wikipedia

Got animal crossing on Friday and here are some of the photos and screenshots i took over the weekend

I initially wanted to name my island forestbrooke but unfortunately i didn’t have enough space so i went with FaunaGrove

Im soo exited to finally start my animal crossing journey

Today is day 3? on the island so ima update yall on what i accomplished in my first three days

My airport was a nice blue, my starter fruits are oranges, and my two starter villagers are antonio and cherry

I used the nook mile ticket that tom nook gifted me and invited the villager on that island -ruby- to come join me when i have a housing plot for her

Day one i already paid off my lones and invited blathers to my island. Day two i had completed timmys quest to find a spot for the shop and gather the materials he needs, i also found fifteen critters for blathers which made him very happy

I also flew to the island of my friend who also got animal crossing recently and we ended up visiting each-others islands and hung out

My tent is a house which looks really sad inside, but i went to a treasure island just to get myself a nice outfit for in the game

The Sandman DVD reminder!

Plot: In 1916 a sorcerer named Roderick Burgess and his Order of Ancient Mysteries accidentally capture Dream of the Endless AKA Morpheus, the Lord of Dreams, while trying to summon The Grim Reaper.

Rather than let Morpheus go, they keep Morpheus imprisoned for over a century. In 2022 Morpheus finally escapes. He finds his kingdom (the realm of Dreams and Nightmares AKA The Dreaming) in ruin. And a rogue nightmare has escaped into The Waking World and become a serial killer.

Morpheus must set things right, which requires tracking down his tools that had been taken from him during his captivity. His infinite pouch of dream sand (He is The Sandman after all), his helm (a battle helmet he never actually gets to use), and his ruby dream stone (a conduit for his power, like a wizard's wand).

This quest will lead him to London England, Hell, Western Upstate New York, and Florida. (See how each location is slightly worse than the one previous. :-P Joking.)

Through the story Morpheus undergoes considerable character growth and learns from his own past mistakes and misdeeds.

It's visually beautiful and at moments quite surreal and symbolic.

Many well-known British and American actors have roles in the show including but not limited to David Thewils, Charles Dance, Gwendoline Christine, Patton Oswalt, Jenna Coleman, John Cameron Mitchell, Stephen Fry, And Mark Hamill.

The tale of Scorpion-Eatin' Tom.

Long ish story about a fnv playthrough under the cut.

My plan was to make an unarmed playthrough, I was playing on my laptop while I was out of town for the holidays, as I often do for when I start a new playthrough for a gimmick run, I make a little batch file of console commands to give myself some rudimentary gear and maybe a few perks. Started simple though, two Toughness ranks, boxing tape, settler outfit. I was mostly focused on unarmed and survival for the first 10 or so levels. As a backup I had a plasma pistol, nice thing is that energy cells(bulk) are cheap and plentiful in the early game. For mods I only had a few essentials, but notably I redownloaded RTS (real time settlers) and FarmingBob. I made my camp by the nipton road rest stop, every three days I'd come back and have to clear out the radscorpions of all sizes. I would then harvest my xander roots and broc flowers to make healing powder to recover the wounds from fighting said scorpions. Sometimes, I'd even have a little extra for adventuring.

As you might have surmised, I had an ample supply of radscorpion venom, which in Primm, can be turned into a food item. Thus really began the scorpion eating. Kept going like this for a while, subsisting on cactus water, ruby's casserole, healing power, and fiery purgative.

I expanded the farm slowly, I wanted a source of potatoes for vodka. Vodka being the main ingredient in fiery purgative, which was a good way of dealing with radiation buildup. Eventually I unlocked the tribal wisdom perk, which lets you eat mutated insect corpses for a pittance of healing and hunger satiation.

I eventually made a simple FNVEdit plugin to let me cook Ruby's casserole myself. I eventually pushed through the guided path from Goodsprings to New Vegas, or freeside at least. Although really I was only there for the Thorn, where I could fight radscorpions over and over for caps and exp. By level 15 I already had rank 3 bug stomper with well over 100 radscorpion kills (estimated). I liked to imagine my courier was starting to become a Thorn household name, the way I could juggle 3 giant radscorpions and not get hit once most times. I almost gave up on this playthrough when I started honest hearts, but I ended up powering through it with the move to quest target command. Didn't glean anything too useful from honest hearts besides a mantis gauntlet and the exp. That brings us to about the end of my holiday stay at my parent's, and the little bits of FNV time I would find throughout the days. Not much point to this post, just wanted to share a little story about a FNV save I might not play for some time.

'“Barbenheimer” is officially here, and the battle between the bomb and the bombshell is about to ignite the box office.

Greta Gerwig’s cotton candy-colored “Barbie,” starring Margot Robbie as the plastic, fantastic doll, is expected to generate a huge $95 million to $110 million from 4,200 North American theaters over the weekend. Given the omnipresence of “Barbie” (the marketing is practically inescapable, with enough memes and marketing tie-ins to last a lifetime), initial estimates are all over the place. Warner Bros. is projecting a more conservative $75 million to start, while rivals and exhibitors believe the PG-13 movie could make as much as $140 million between Friday and Sunday.

In any case, “Barbie” will claim the top spot over Christopher Nolan’s atomic bomb drama “Oppenheimer,” which is aiming to collect a solid $50 million from 3,600 cinemas through Sunday. Universal is backing the R-rated historical biopic, which cost $100 million.

“Oppenheimer” runs at three hours (“Barbie” clocks in at just under two), which may limit the screenings per day. However, Nolan’s epic will benefit from premium large format screens like Imax, which is dedicating its entire footprint to his film for three weeks.

Together, the seemingly different blockbusters with twin release dates are fueling the phenomenon known as “Barbenheimer.” AMC Theatres, the nation’s biggest cinema chain, reported that 40,000 people have already purchased tickets for double features of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” on the same day — up 20,000 from last week.

The $145 million-budgeted “Barbie” stars too many A-listers to name, but we’ll give it a shot: Ryan Gosling, Issa Rae, Dua Lipa, Simu Liu, Helen Mirren, John Cena and Will Ferrell round out the cast of the fantasy comedy, which follows Barbie and Ken as they leave the comfort and familiarity of Barbie-Land on a quest for self-discovery in the real world.

“Oppenheimer,” adapted by Nolan from the Pulitzer Prize-winning book “American Prometheus,” is an equally star-studded character study about theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer. Cillian Murphy plays the man who led the development of the atomic bomb, alongside an ensemble of Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh and Alden Ehrenreich.

The potent combination of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer,” as well as last weekend’s champion “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” is expected to fuel one of the biggest box office weekends in ages. Summer season has otherwise produced a string of underperforming options, like “The Flash,” “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” and “Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken.”

Tom Cruise’s newest “Mission” looks to add $28 million to $30 million in its second weekend of release, a decline of roughly 50% from its debut. The seventh installment in Paramount and Skydance’s globe-trotting action franchise opened to $56 million in North America and $234 million globally. It cost $291 million before marketing, so Ethan Hunt’s latest death-defying adventure needs to remain a draw throughout the summer to justify that price tag.

Elsewhere, the unlikely box office hit “Sound of Freedom” is imminently crossing the $100 million mark, which will put the film among the top 16 highest grossing of the year. The low-budget, faith-based movie about child sex trafficking has generated a remarkable $85.7 million to date. That’s thanks mostly to the religious and conservative media groups that have rallied behind the film.

Paul Dergarabedian, a senior Comscore analyst, calls “Barbenheimer” a “movie marketers dream come true.” He adds that the craze is “creating a rising tide of interest that should also boost the fortunes of ‘MI7’ and ‘Sound of Freedom’ as moviegoers flood the multiplex in search of movies to catch on the big screen.”'

Ruby - Ruby Quest

This is a closet-cosplay. I literally used a shirt and a skirt that i had, and made the ears with some plush that my mother had too. But I love these photos sooooo much! I think all the photographers that were there were very talented. Ruby Quest is an webcomic where every character is similar to stick figures, but the fandom creates great fanarts, and I did my version of Ruby too. I really didn't like the third eye, but this photoshoot was kind of a surprise, so, I did my best! Team Meeting 1: Comparing Ideas to take further

Fin’s idea: summary of mental health issues as a whole. Game set inside a person’s mind - because of mental health struggles there are pieces of their mind which are ‘mangled’ and perhaps lost, the game revolves around the player completing puzzles to find these lost pieces and place them back where they belong. Puzzle ideas aren’t thought out yet. The character is the “light” within the person’s mind and they must travel through the various areas of darkness within the mind with the aim of restoring order.

Fin’s second idea: Game based on the theme of intrusive thoughts - player in the middle of a room with ‘intrusive thoughts’ coming towards them and they must fight them off like in a tower defence game. This is where a narrator could potentially warn them of oncoming threats so the player knows where to look. This fits well with Tom’s idea as a ‘minigame’ or level.

Fin’s third idea is related to PTSD. The Character experiences flashbacks to something traumatising that the player is unaware of as to what it is. They eventually fall asleep into a dream where they are in the character’s mind where the player must set on a quest to find out the truth behind why the character suffers from their condition by entering different flashbacks showing memories. The player must then solve a range of puzzles which could vary from number codes that unlock things or looking through any items of value towards the character. The flashbacks could also include transitions when the player moves from one memory to another with each gradually getting darker as they get to the important part of the story which would be the climax.

Each room would feature a puzzle relating to a compulsive or obsessive behaviour, and it must be completed to progress to the next room. Each room is filled with random and abstract objects that are randomly generated. The player must complete the puzzle before they are able to mentally commit to opening the next door - instead of it being locked.
