@little-murmaider ok it is SO funny you bring that up because i was having a whole back-and-forth with myself trying to decide who the celebrity would be because originally i WAS like “oh rikki would be funny and i could see him pretending to be a zombie” and in the sequel y’know how it’s like an urban legend and being “murrayed” was a verb? and i was like oh being “kixxed” would be kinda funny

BUT the thing was, in my original post i was gonna include more side characters, rikki included, and i wanted him to be vegas. so it wouldn’t make sense for him to be the celeb. then i had a thought: what if, for no reason at all, i made tony thunderbottom the celeb. it still works: he’s old but respected and still famous and, best of all, being “thunderbottomed” is x10 funnier than anything else

Pickles woke in a plush but nondescript hotel room to the sound of his own voice from the other side of the wall.

With a roll of his eyes, Pickles disentangled himself from the two pretty blondes cuddled against him. He couldn't remember their names. Had he asked? He doubted it. Why bother? Within half an hour, he'd forget their names and faces and everything else.

The Snakes 'n Barrels stable is what brought Pickles to fame in his early years. The group became pretty popular overseas and eventually landed themselves a contract with CMW. The founding members were Pickles, Snazz Bullets, Sammy Candynose, and Tony Thunder.

However, the boys let the fame get to their heads. Substance abuse wasn't uncommon in the wrestling world--they were tantamount to rock stars, after all (lol)--and eventually it caught up with them in the ring. The stable broke up and the members were either suspended and fined. Under the condition that they got sober, they could keep their contracts. Currently their contracts all seem to be in limbo.

Today, Pickles is at Mordhaus to train and working on sobriety. (It's....a journey.) He tag teams with Nathan in indie shows under a new gimmick.

Pickles gets an invite to his old SnB bandmate Tony’s wedding to some pretty, intelligent sober chick, which feels like a real kick in the nuts because he and Tony had a thing back in the day and it feels like, by being invited to the wedding, it’s all been completely and irrevocably swept under the rug. 

So Pickles does what any self-respecting... well, him, would do: drinks a lotta booze, does a lotta drugs, and writes back accepting the invite and specifying the most intelligent, clean-cut looking person he knows: Charles Foster Offdensen. 

Sorry Charlie, you’re taking a vacation whether you like it or not!
