[Lyrics Translation] Aragami Oga - Faker Faker
youtube
English Translation:
Words gathering like intertwining vines Trying to strangle me by the neck Looking for a way to sever everything So let's beat em’ all
Even if dark thoughts started crawling in The people-pleasers are still gathering Even crooked looks are a thing of beauty Or was it just someone’s preference
Well now, love-hate, delusion Be sure to savor it as you'd like
As we slowly Falling, Falling Into the deepest darkness of the night It’s like this body was just rotting fruits
A malice that Calls in, Calling Turn itself into ashes inside this hell This is all just one horrible dream after all A Fake rumination
A sweet talk that feels like a lie Quietly amused by the constant switch Deceiving one with such petty tricks Why don't we let it go
Even those piled-up logic of yours It has formed into an absurd fairy-tales Even if happiness is formed by different means Nobody would notice it
Ah, today too is another free-for-all Now that's one splendid idea
It's a rather Noisy, Noisy night As the warning keeps ringing on Not even it could grant you a satisfactory end
That's why we should Take it, Take it And let the masses in No reason to think about it This is a neverending Raid
Crushed by a flawed justice Rowing this ark into the worst possible future
Falling Falling Into the deepest darkness of the night As the backlight slowly disappears Eaten by the void
A malice that Calls in, Calling Turn itself into ashes inside this hell If this is all just one horrible dream We can paint over it as if it’s never there To be a Grey-ish sin and punishment
This reality is just a Fake

“ A Break “
‘…when you told us that the King was fond of keeping up a chat. I certainly did not think it would be like that…’ Oga cleared his throat, frowning when the lingering itch didn’t fade. His voice felt—odd, well, he had to raise his voice a bit this time, it was troubling to sound like mumbling when you’re not really intending to. Sometimes, his deep voice was a bit of a bother.
After hours of discussing with the King, they were finally dismissed, quietly filing out from the meeting room.
So that was why Aruran didn’t refuse the tea every time the butler offered a refill. This kind of thing certainly wasn’t his forte, negotiating and running around to take care of things, dealing with all sorts of people, from the most pleasant down to the most repulsive kinds. Not to mention, he must’ve overcame a whole lot of obstacles to stand here.
To have a King’s trust was not something so easily achieved anywhere in the world, not even back in his world. Avians held a big grudge to the Human race, and instead of the Avians being the “superior” race, it was the total opposite. He’s had his fair knowledge in this topic, the greed of humans was something unexplainable. Incidents relating to an Avian being kidnapped and never found, other cases of Avian cruelty made cold sweat break out on his skin—most were gruesome, only few of them were easy matters.
Oga did a bit of research after he was done aiding Aruran in immobilizing the branches, out of genuine curiosity. And good Lord, it was sickening. He didn’t dwell much within helping Avians, more to leaning with taking in people who had been assaulted or harassed, mentally or physically.
But Aruran? Oh, oh, he took on so much worse. The older man even had enough to provide accommodation for those he rescued, including the ones rescued yesterday. His mansion’s rooms weren’t just for show, nor were the number of workers. Once you take the stairs to the underground levels, it was a hidden community from most people. It was to hide them from any fellow—high classed people from seeing them. Not because Aruran saw their (his family) presence as dirt, but to prevent others from thinking lowly of them.
That said, it has happened a few times back then, and boy, it didn’t end well. The Demon found it endearing at how Aruran cared for everyone associated as his servants, he didn’t think of them like that, he looked after each of them, one by one—out of his own selflessness. Hm, well, one can’t deny about that old man bringing a gentle, amiable aura wherever he went. Perhaps that was why everyone came to him when they were stuck with something, there’s something about him that exuded reliability.
           Something like a capybara.
They were exiting the Palace, walking towards the garden at the back. The King told them that it would be much more peaceful to leave through there than the main entrance. He was more than aware of how besides Aruran—not much of The Nine were too tolerated. All of them has caused distress to the Avians at least once, intentionally or not. Better safe than sorry, he supposed.
‘Really now? I myself thought it went quite well. Most fell into the right places—and nothing got out of control. The Princess was pleased with the gift, too.’ Aruran stopped by the gazebo, thanking the servant who had scuttled off to fetch the coachman. He seemed a lot more chipper than the times prior to today, perhaps he was just glad that the heavy load had finally left his shoulders, …maybe it was something else. ‘Do you two have any plans for today? While you’re here, too. If I recall correctly, none of you have stayed long enough to take a basic tour around this city.’
‘How long are you going to stay, though?’
‘About a week or so. I have an errand boy who helps me deliver messages—who was his name again? …mm, uh –Edward.’ He blinked a few times, staring ahead before shaking his head, seemingly confused by his own thoughts. ‘There’s nothing supposed to be done here after the meeting—but I plan to stay here for a week. I don’t know about you lot, but you are free to lodge at my residence if you choose to. I have enough rooms.’
‘Mm, I personally would want to take a basic tour and learn more about this city—tomorrow though.’ Oga took the chance to seat himself by the empty chair, turning his gaze to the Jackal who seemed entranced at the sight of Avians fluttering up and about, ears perked, and his tail swaying as he made awestruck noises. ‘Shiepi, what say you?’
No response. So, he tries again.
           ‘Shien.’
           ‘…hm?…’
‘Do you have any plans in mind?’
‘Not that I know of, no.’
‘Are you even listening to me right now?’
‘I am, I really am…’ Said the Jackal as his eyes were glued to one of the servants, mouth slightly agape as they were busy stretching their wings before resuming their activity.
‘…he’s lost in his world, isn’t he?’
‘I suppose.’ The Demon blinked at the sky taking a warmer tone, reaching in his suit to retrieve a pocket watch. ‘Have we been in there for that long?’
‘Why, yes. Yes, we have. This one isn’t as bad as that time where I stayed here for the night—but I was not asleep.’ Aruran made this mix between a smug and exhausted smile, slipping off his glasses to pinch the bridge of his nose. One beat of silence, before the distant sound of horses pulling a carriage graced their ears.
           ‘There’s our ride, come.’
           ‘This is…unexpected.’
Arriving at the older man’s residence, they were quite surprised that it was nothing too big—not as big as their mansions back at Haorema, anyways. But it seemed like it wasn’t an empty house, for the moment they entered his house, there was Agra—
Huh? How did he get here? When? …and Avian??
‘Welcome back, Master. It’s been some time, hasn’t it?’ He held his arm out for the cloak, bowing his head slightly when Aruran untied the knot, shrugging it off with a breath. ‘How long will you be staying here?’
‘A week—ish, how are the others here, good?’
‘There’s a Tag tournament currently, so they’re away to see it.’ The butler’s wings shrugged a bit, exasperation visible on his features. ‘I did tell them you would be arriving today, though,’ he turned to the other two, chuckling at their dumbfounded faces.
Aruran made a questioning hum, before snickering along, ‘I introduce to you two my other butler, Arya, twin brother of Agra.’
‘O-oh, I see… eh, Aruran, where are you going? You’re not going to give us a tour?’
‘I’m going to go bathe—before going to the library. I apologise but, Arya will be the one to give you a tour. You’re free with whatever you wish to do.’ He had taken off his cravat, and pulled off his shoes, bringing them away as he padded through the corridor. It was quite the amusing sight, something alike to a child who can’t wait to play with the toys in his room, though in this case, their older friend was impatient to head for the library.
‘Gentlemen,’ Oga turned his gaze to the butler, nodding his head in acknowledgement when he beckoned at the two.
In the middle of the small tour, they eyed Aruran who was fresh out of his bath, donned in less… grand looking clothes. Just a simple shirt and dress pants. He had a pep in his step—and, wearing another pair of heels already.
Boy, he’s sneaky. But the clicks his heels make were a dead giveaway, causing Arya to cease his steps. ‘Master, change your shoes.’
A beat of silence, and the older man turned around, storming back into his room. ‘Damn it.’
Blast it all, if only he walked more quietly. Masking his excitement was futile this time, it’s really hard to do just that when he’s been waiting for months just to go to the local library in this part of the Capital. Just so he could pick up on the last chapters where he was learning about Avians. Anatomy on wings, the differences between Humans and them, anything he could put on the list.
Walking there took less time than he thought, much to his delight. Five minutes in, Aruran had arrived at the aisle. Ten minutes –and he already had a pile of books that he planned to read (he wrote the titles on a small piece of paper). Fifteen minutes… and the man had settled by a corner tucked away from most prying eyes. More than once, he encountered people wanting to bug him over for learning about Avians, they would ask for fights out of nowhere when all he wanted to do was simply—sit down, slouch in his chair, and read to his heart’s contents.
Thankfully, he didn’t have to worry about that today, it was Monday. Most were still at work at this hour, and or still in school. He had thought about actually going tomorrow instead, but that want to take a nap and rest his busted brain had gone out the window.
It’s just that, with so many books to read, he couldn’t pick which to start from. Wing Anatomy, difference between Avians and Humans, How to Preen properly—too many, too many he wants to read yet his two eyes can’t read to things at once. Maybe doing a simple “eenie meenie miney mo” could work—oh bother, why was it so hard just to pick. He’s been waiting for months to be able to go here, but now he’s just—stuck.
If he looked at it from his list of priorities—knowing how to preen wings properly was something he does need to know. All of it stemmed from feeling guilty whenever any of his boys who were Avian asked if he could help with preening… only for him to sheepishly reveal that he didn’t know how to help with preening. Among the many men who worked for him, a handful of them were Avian—and most were ones he saved. Even if he already repeatedly said that it was alright, they insisted on joining him to thank him for helping them out. Of course, he didn’t accept them immediately, it was only after months of badgering, did he cave in and finally let them—on a note that –they weren’t allowed in any operations until he said so.
The main reason he added this book (Preening Your Wings is the title) into his reading list was for a fact that those big, scary looking Avians he took in as his underlings had the audacity to look like dejected kids when he said that he didn’t want to ruin their feathers by combing too hard or putting too much wax. Now that he thought about it, he would meet them later at night, and more over for the fact that they would probably ask if he could help them preen again. (If he said he can’t, then they would usually reply that they can teach him how).
Preening, preening it is. He has seen the many tools they use whenever they preen and he didn’t want to live another day being confused on what on God’s green earth are they for.
For most Avians—they apply wax onto their feathers, and made had a tool to make up for the absence of a beak. It was quite simple to use, slip on the rubber gloves, scoop some wax into the clip, and apply it accordingly to the feathers that need it. Gloves were actually not necessary in this, but some use it for mere convenience. Those were for the contour feathers; downs had another way to preen it—and others required extensive combing (which he has seen take up more time if not aided).
Though, reading this book was just really to grasp the theory of preening. They only explained on what has to be done when the Avians would gather in a common room and arrange themselves in a rough circle. If Aruran managed to weasel his way out of the activity, he would still stay there, observing how their hands deftly rubbed the oil onto each feather, and if they had down feathers, then they too, would know how much force needs to be put in each tug, enough to untangle the feathers yet not to the point of making them fall apart.
Without practising it in real life, there was no way to determine how good one is at preening. This skill was something taught among friends and family, and without others to help you—one’s preening skills would be quite… poor.
Oh right, it is something that he can’t learn all by himself in the first place. It was foolish to think of it like that— when he lacked something so obvious.
…moping around like this had no use, he was better off waiting back at his house to brace himself for the oncoming rumble. The book was quite short, illustrations of the tools used and how to use it properly. There were three main components required: preening wax, clips, and the comb. From what the book said, they would start with the Tertials, the one closest to the body, and then following along the trail outwards until they finish.
Aruran rose from his chair, groaning at the set of cracks coming from his back. There was a quiet voice inside his head that snickered, calling him old. ‘Not old.’ He couldn’t help but grumble, returning the books to their respective shelves before departing from the library.
Walking back alone this time felt odd, there was a feeling of someone following him. Good God, he hated it whenever they did this. The man had spent years teaching them how to follow targets without being noticed, but being said target is an awful experience, even if he had acted as a dummy target more than a few times when training. He would test out how good they were before telling them what was needed to be improved, the Owls were excellent in these kinds of activities, too excellent, because the moment he taught them the basics, those rascals had given him jumpscares at the most random times. But this? This—feeling of the jeebies invading his back, that dread that he was going to be tackled by the force of more than three male Avian of Prey at once. Sure, he might be robust—but this body of his have a limit.
The two friends greeted him quite happily at his return. Good, that means they were having fun even without him, but he couldn’t find it in himself to reply to them with the same pep. ‘My deepest apologies-’ He forced out a breath, slipping off his glasses and folding it, letting Arya retrieve it before the butler set a good distance between him.
           ‘Ar-Aruran?’
Just when Oga was about to come closer, a flurry of Avians barged in the common room, tackling the older man off his feet, sending him rolling along with the crowd for a few metres. The Avians were rowdy, but it was obvious that they took care to compose themselves and finally letting their boss rise from the pile of wings. Out of breath, and dishevelled. ‘You boys…’
‘Eh! We couldn’t help it! Sorry, Boss.’ One of them helped him up, rounded feathers and pale brown feathers had ruffled before folding.
‘—Never, ever—do that again, givin’ me the jeebies the whole way back, like I can’t tell that you lil’ brats are gonna bombard me like that.’ Aruran’s words left in a mumble, one hand reaching to rid the feathers from his hair, ‘how’ve you all been? Good? Anyone new or?’
‘Nope, nope, it’s just us for the past month. Ah, you should’ve gone with us to the tournament before!! It was really fun!’
‘You know I can’t come, Ruth.’ As much as Aruran himself wanted to douse that blazing curiosity in him, it couldn’t be helped with how interesting it was to see Avians wrestle each other. He wanted to learn the way they moved, thought –and executed their strategy. Though one thing about this whole… behaviour.
This was something he learnt a long time ago, back when he was still spending his time down in the dumps, seeing all the dark shit no one should even know about in the first place. No matter how much Avians had “evolved” from their more—animalistic predecessors, there was this primal tinge that stayed, and that tinge found its way to resurface whenever their Season arrived. All Avians had their Season, from the sparrows to the eagles, but Avian of Prey always—somehow instilled more fear into the others than the rest.
They had an ongoing reputation of being too violent— but he couldn’t blame them either. It was like asking a dog to stop walking on all fours—so he decided to let it be. Oh, don’t get him wrong, this man knows how weird these Avians could be sometimes, whether it be coming through the kitchen’s back door, caked in blood while proudly proclaiming they caught a boar by the forest to having one (read: a lot) of them join his bed because the thunder was too loud. That also includes almost being mauled by one because he stepped in at the wrong time.
If it weren’t for the others coming in to help him, he would’ve died. ‘Us Avians of Prey are stubborn as shit, we’re called wild and dangerous for a reason, Boss. Why do you think the most popular tip in wrestling for our kind is “bite back harder”?’
Slowly letting the trance fade from his mind, he looked to his friends, seeing the both of them with… quite amusing expressions. Once the boys left to prepare dinner, he made a sigh, readying himself to answer whatever questions might be shoved at him. Instead, there was only a warm-hearted laugh from them both, a sense of agreement that he could feel, but couldn’t put his finger on what they’re agreeing on.
‘You both laughing like that without any warnings only give me a sense of dread.’
‘Oh, don’t worry. It’s nothing bad.’
‘Doubt it, really, deeply, truly. I doubt that.’ Aruran turned to the clock, letting out a sigh, ‘you both are welcome to wait at the dining room, I’ll be in the kitchen helping.’
Staring at their older friend getting further away, Shien pulled out a piece of paper from his coat, unfolding it to reveal a poster of a nearing performance, by none other than Ann. The Jackal can’t resist the sly smirk from pulling at his lips, his tail swaying and ears perking in thought. ‘Which of us are going to tell him about this?’
Teasing their older friend was such an entertaining thing to do. His reactions were always hilarious, but they also made sure not to go over the line. It was a given, they’ve seen Aruran slip up sometimes, failing to keep his candle of patience lit up any longer for a split moment… moving on from that—Shien turned his eyes to the poster, humming in idle thought of how their friend would react.

[Interview TL] Aragami Oga's Up-Station Web Interview
Interview source can be found here.
Tumblr media
Debuting as part of Holostars' 3rd wave and making rapid progress this summer with his 3D unveiling as well as his summer outfit debut: Aragami Oga.
Not only through his voice, but he's also known for his creativity which extends from illustrations to game creation! Making a unique twist among his peers in Holostars and the VTuber community itself.
With his mentality of "Taking extra care for any kinds of creation progress", today's interview is presented with its craftsmanship as the main topic, highlighting Oga-san's personality and charms!
------------ "It's okay to fall asleep" A comfy midnight chat stream to listen to. ------------
--First of all, please tell us about your streaming style.
Oga: I mainly focus on gaming and easy-to-listen chatting streams. Usually starting at near midnight, creating "A stream experience you can feel comfortable with" for the listeners.
--What kind of topic do you usually have during chat streams?
Oga: Normally about things that happened on the day or manga and movies I've seen recently. Of course with keeping the spoilers away in mind, I usually talk about the part that seems interesting. All while also looking at the listener's comments and engaging with them, I think it makes a lot of people feel like they were on a call with me in the middle of the night.
--It looks like there are some listeners that ended up sleeping through as well.
Oga: Normally, I'm aiming to create a stream where people can easily relax. There's a lot of VTubers who create quite an eventful stream, so I'd like to make my place as one where people can come to relax.
--Regarding recent activities, you just unveiled your first summer-season outfit. Donning a formal jacket and an apron you could use while having the shirt rolled up like a barista-styled theme, it creates two different styles to enjoy with, doesn't it?
Oga: I asked whether it's possible to let me take off my jacket or give me some kind of apron-like stuff, in the end, I was given both options. Up until now, I've had my regular and new year outfits but both of them still heavily incorporate my homeworld's aesthetic. That's why I'd like to have a more "human world-like" design for my summer outfit.
--Everyone has also talked about the number of layers this clothing had despite it being a summer outfit.
Oga: When talking about summer outfits for males, the usual choices would be stuff like yukata or swimsuits with gown-like things over them which can be quite daring to show. My outfits so far were pretty exposed already so I was thinking maybe it's a good time to cover up now.
--What kind of streams would you like to do with this outfit specifically?
Oga: Back when I was still recently debuted I once made a stream of me grinding coffee beans, I think if I don my cafe outfit for the occasion it will be quite fitting.
----------------- The secret of creating something is to "put your goal as close as possible" -----------------
--When talking about Oga-san, we can't dismiss the part about your creative side be it for illustration or games making. So what made you start drawing in the first place?
Oga: There aren't any cute things in the world I used to live in, you know. So when I first arrived in Japan, I was met with the various kinds of character mascots they had and thought to myself, "Japan must've been the land of cuteness". As I started meeting all these "cute" things, I began wanting to create one by myself as well.
--And I guess since then you've kept drawing and making games, in the end, it cultivates your skill even more in the process.
Oga: I think anyone ever had thoughts about creating something similar with the games they like. In my case, sometimes I tried looking up ways to create them. That's when I tried challenging myself for it, somehow the process was actually quite fun. Since then, I often tried a lot of things and ended up making it work as well.
--There's a lot of people who ended up dropping what they've studied but how did Oga-san manage to keep his studying mood?
Oga: I think that's mostly because people tend to think quite far ahead at first, like only aiming for the finish line of what they're studying. For example in terms of game creation, people tend to put their ideal image such as "creating an RPG you can play for as long as you could" or "making a complicated plot up until the world is saved", Making it the very first thing most people sought in mind.
In my case, I like creating the smaller tools at first. To put it simply, placing my goal as close as possible. I think you'll be able to understand how things work much better and end up finishing what you wanted to create that way. If you haven't completed work I think it will be much harder to continue on.
--I see, that does seem to be a good way to approach it.
Oga: You can already see the finished version of any plastic model you're going to build so there's an element of motivation there, but for different kinds of work if you put too much stuff in the start line you might not be able to see your end goal.
--What kind of tools are you using?
Oga: I mainly use RPG Maker for game making. Since creating a program from zero would be impossible for me, I tried creating what I could by using it. I tried a lot of programs for illustration but the one I find the easiest is SAI. Then for video, I use AfterEffects while also learning from various lecture videos through YouTube.
--After dabbing into illustration, finding various fanarts comes rather naturally, but are you aware of it?
Oga: Yes I do. I think since it's something each fan creates with their own hands, it truly makes me happy every time. I always look through everything posted into twitter's hashtag, though it's impossible for me to interact with everything I try to retweet some of them at the very least.
--If you have any advice in drawing fanarts please tell us!
Oga: This includes not only me but also VTubers in general but I think a lot of them have difficult designs or details in their model. That's why when drawing them, I think it's alright to omit some of these details for an easier option. That way you'll be able to draw faster and create more pieces, eventually enjoying the whole process as you go.
----------------- Currently creating horror games, with Mr. Tanigo as cameo! -----------------
--We heard that Oga-san is in the middle of developing a horror game that includes the Cover corp's CEO himself, Motoaki Tanigo.
Oga: As a fan of horror content myself I started wanting to create my own at some point. When I thought about one important part I needed to add to this game, the idea suddenly came into my head. A person's face, or specifically the moment where some old man randomly appeared out of a sudden usually gives out a good scary element. When thinking about getting some pictures, I instantly thought "Oh right! I can just ask Mr. Yagoo!".
Tanigo-san or Mr. YAGOO always garnered quite some attention towards overseas people whenever he uploaded a picture. I went to ask my manager for help, and that's how I managed to get some of his pictures.
--So that would mean the pictures were gathered for this occasion it seems.
Oga: That's right. Though telling a newly appointed manager to "Go and fetch me around 20 photos of our CEO" right off the bat is definitely quite tough (laughs). Mr. YAGOO even called back and said "You better complete the game for real".
--We look forward to the completion as well! Speaking of that, you seem to be doing several streams of you working on the game. Is there fun in doing those?
Oga: I think it's fun being able to show your progress as people watch, though I think there aren’t many people who do these kinds of streams. I wasn't sure whether it'll be entertaining at first to be honest but it managed to garner a lot of attention once I started doing it.
--Are there any differences in the comment section compared to the usual gaming or chatting streams?
Oga: I don't think there are any significant changes but the topic is mostly focusing on "things I'd like to do". When I'm working on my game, sometimes I would ask my viewers for an idea. Other times asking for their opinion about my progress and so on.
--That does seem like a fun thing to do!
Oga: All that's left is adding a few things I thought about mid-streaming and when I showed the movement progress, it really riles everyone up in a good way. As expected, it does feel good when I see people praising the things I've made.
--------------------- He can destroy buildings in under 5 minutes!? This is Aragami Oga's abnormal strength ---------------------
--Moving forward to our next topic. After your prior debut in April 2020, is there any moment that left a deep impression in your mind?
Oga: It's gotta be the 3D debut reveal stream. Besides being one of my goals, I really like moving my body around so being able to showcase it to others really made me happy. Even during the stream, the watchers were enthusiastically asking me to "show my back around"!
--With 3D form at hand, is there a challenge that you would like to attempt next?
Oga: Of course there's a lot of them. There's already talk about my next plan with it, besides that I'd also like to do a collab with fellow members who got their 3D already as well.
--On the other hand since Oga-san is a majin, you possess a strength greater than a normal human. It must've been tough trying to be careful about your movements and such.
Oga: That's right, I probably can't just joke around with my friends by punching them unprompted.
--With that in mind, how much strength would you have if you were to show your true strength?
Oga: Putting it in the human world's perspective, I would easily gnaw through a hardened red-bean ice cream. Besides that, I could easily topple down a building in 5 minutes flat.
--I, I see. Is there a recommended stream archive that Oga-san would like to show to new watchers?
Oga: Last year I actually did a stream where I played a certain instrument. Using a kit that I could build on my own, I spent nearly half a day trying to assemble it. Then I don't know when it all went wrong but somehow the instrument was letting out weird noises that almost sounded like something you heard out of a horror scene, it turned out to be a cursed instrument in the end. Streaming myself playing it as I looked at the agonized comments on the chat was quite fun in a way (laughs).
-------------------- The things he respects in his gen-mate and in his seniors. --------------------
--We received a question from Kageyama Shien-san who appeared last time, it was "Tell me a recent stuff you've been into lately!"
Oga: I'm recently into "cycling outburst". There's no one on the road during night time so I can ride my bicycle pretty fast. Somehow seeing a usually bustling place become so quiet at certain times feels really nice. Though I did say "outburst" I still practice safe driving of course.
--What made you start doing it in the first place?
Oga: Originally I always liked moving my body around but ever since I started streaming in the human world I felt like my body has gotten quite weak lately. So after my 3D stream was decided, I started cycling more often.
--So the main objective is to gain more stamina in preparation for your 3D stream.
Oga: Another reason is because seeing new scenery is quite fun itself. There are some places I haven't explored yet around my house so sometimes I would try going further after doing a full round on certain roads, then it ended up being an hour-half or even two hours long trip. Usually, I always go cycling on days when it doesn't rain.
--Thank you so much. As previously stated the one who sent the question is your own gen-mate Kageyama Shien, in Oga-san opinion what kind of person he is?
Oga: He can be quite unreliable sometimes but... in a good sense, I respect that he could put out a cool front at the right timing. In my case, I can be pretty bashful compared to him who’s able to act reliably most of the time.
My hometown in the demon realm is a place called Ma-Kansai, a pretty similar place to Japan's Osaka. That's why I can't really be 100% serious at most times like somehow there's part of me that wants to make people laugh, or just wanting to create a comedic skit when possible.
--I see, that sure is a contrasting difference.
Oga: We're just gen-mate at its core, so more than trying to be similar I think it's much better if we could have some differences.
--Please tell us another member that you also respect.
Oga: It's definitely Robe-chan (Yukoku Roberu). Besides his streaming frequency, I also respected the amount of originality he had. Robe-chan is the kind of person who always goes "I thought of something so let's just try it out now" and such, I do understand his thought process because sometimes I have the same thoughts but I mostly have a fear of slipping up during it.
You could probably recover pretty quickly during collabs, but when you're alone all the responsibility falls on you. That's why knowing Robe-chan who can make any stream interesting makes me respect him greatly.
-------------------- If possible, I'd like it if sleepless people could come and see me. --------------------
--Is there anything that you would like to do this year?
Oga: I'd like to do a kabedon-like event using my 3D self. I'm sure there's more events coming up in the future but by communicating with my listener or even new ones like this, it would be nice I think.
--Please give us a question for the next Holostars member.
Oga: "If you were allowed to have a rent with no limit, what kind of place would you like to live in?"
--Got it! By the way, what kind of house would Oga-san like to live in?
Oga: Personally speaking, the most sought ones would be the ultra-luxurious condominium. Not the high-rise apartment complex one but the one with only around 3~4 floors, they're pretty amazing you know! They're around 4LDK size with soundproofing and if there's a room where I could watch TV while having a bath I would definitely be happy to live there. Though in my current state, it would be impossible for me to live in that kind of place...
--Lastly, please tell us your message towards everyone reading this or if you have any kinds of announcements!
Oga: I always strive to create fun streams everyday. Though I mainly do chit-chat sessions at midnight, if you happen to have time to drop by, or if you're having trouble with your sleep, I hope you'd consider dropping by my place(stream).

[Stream Summary] Aragami Oga's 6th January 2021 stream
youtube
Happy new year! the resident demon Aragami Oga was finally able to deliver his first personal stream for 2021 after a hectic week of events (from Christmas up until his karaoke and new outfits reveal!).
Oga opened the stream by reminiscing the last time he was able to do free-talk like this was around last month on 29th, he had quite a troublesome but fun week due to his karaoke relay and new outfits stream. Even after that, he had to catch up with other personal stuff, and in the end didn't realize it's already been a week into the year. Though after that he managed to drop in for a couple of collabs like the group collab in Rikka's channel and a hanafuda session as Foxdemon. His busy schedule made him unable to make time for his 50k subs celebration stream so he's thinking of rounding it up along with his 60k subs celebration since he recently passed the mark while he was having a collab with Fubuki. Oga reminds people that his birthday is coming up (15th January), and some viewers said they sent him a present in which he thanked them for it. He then mentioned that he's been getting a lot of new year cards from fans, he was overjoyed by it and thanked everyone who had sent him one for this year. He noticed each of the cards has its own uniqueness like there are some who included illustration and such. Speaking of new years, Oga wasn't able to do much for the occasion beside getting a call from his mother, he didn't even get to eat mochi or osechi alike. He expressed his intention of getting a kotatsu but he's looking for a specific one where he can put it over a desk with chairs around, due to his height he often complained that his feet would go over the normal kotatsu so he wasn't able to fully wrapped himself up in it.
He picked up a comment from chats that were asking for his mask to be sold as goods, but Oga considered it would be hard to do because his mask was quite pointy, although he mentioned if an alternative version could be made (like Shien's kageyamaDX toy sword) he might think about it. Talking more about future goods possibility, he's actually interested in having a voiced dakimakura as his new goods, he thought it might be interesting to add a voice feature so it would respond as you hugged it with various lines. The same goes for his oppai mousepad idea, although he realized the cost for these types of goods would be quite expensive because of all the added features.
The topic quickly changes to various hobby talks, from his opinion about figures types (and mentioning some of his favorite figure companies), newer gundam series talk as well as marvel series where he mentioned he has watched Endgame at least 4 (four) times because he really likes it in particular. Oga mentioned a couple of upcoming marvel shows he's looking forward to a lot like WandaVision and Loki. When talking about his favorite gundam, he said that he took a particular liking toward's Iron-Blooded Orphans' gundam designs a lot. He then remembered a couple of days ago he finally went to watch the bonus disc included in the BD version of Marvel's Avengers Endgame which was a small tribute to Stan Lee, the content was nice in his opinion but watching it made him feel a bit sad again about Lee's passing.
Oga said that he actually very rarely eats a wholecake, this is also because he mostly never finishes eating it or he didn't invite people to eat with him. He also mentioned he doesn't really eat sweets that much but he recalled one time when he's craving Baskin robins' ice cream and ended up ordering one for himself. In the middle of the talk, he got reminded that his acrylic stand sample actually arrived recently but he noticed the expression on the sample he got is different so he had been requesting a replacement from the company.
The topic is now shifting to the condition around the place he currently resides in, Oga mentioned there have been some problems that made him unable to hold a morning stream as often. One is about certain loud sounds with a weird stench coming caused by nearby construction below his place (although it's starting to get much quieter lately) and another one is about a certain cockatoo that was placed on his apartment hallways, it's said that their voices could be heard toward the entire hallways because of how loud they are and Oga had no way of knowing when they would say something, the cockatoo is most active at morning and likes to call out the residents by their name so he thinks if his mic happened to pick up those noises during stream it might be dangerous.
When talking about new year's cards again, Oga mentioned the card he received from his sister and how she used the precure sticker he actually bought for her kid back then. The talk shifts into him acknowledging that he's not really familiar with the precure series and started asking about the latest series, the chats ended up asking him about various other series too like pripara, aikatsu, pretty rhythm and it's spinoff, as well as sumikko gurashi, all of which he claimed to be not familiar of. He mentioned that he might try to watch them out one of these days, however.
One of the chats is asking him a peculiar question out of a sudden, "If you were a girl, what kind of guy you would date?" to which he answered that he didn't really think about it before but he'd like to date someone like Miyabi in his new outfit. He ended up complimenting Miyabi's new outfits again because out of all the new outfits, Miyabi's was actually the one that made him swooned the most. He then wondered if there is someone who would be making a doujinshi with Miyabi in his new outfits, then told people to give him a notice because he would love to read it. Talking more about doujinshi, he actually felt a bit embarrassed if he ever reads his own doujinshi (unless it's a war/battle-themed story) but is really enthusiastic about reading others' doujinshi. Oga wondered if there are people who would make holostars doujinshi by next comiket and thinking of going if the event is finally resumed again, though he could also just ask some staff to get it if there's any. He started talking about going to other offline events such as the GBF's granbluefes, he said that he never actually get to attend one so he'd like to go one day once they could finally hold another one.
Talking about GBF, Oga isn't really a dedicated player and it was proven by how he couldn't even finish a magna tier-2 raids by himself, he recalled that Shien also played and he's probably doing much better than he does, Shien could probably carry him if they were on the same crew. He then started talking about his eternals collection, he recruited Sarasa and Siete so far then considering between Okto or Nio for his next recruit, after seeing several opinions on chats he decided on Okto. As for arcarum evokers, he actually planned on getting Nier (his only evokers as of now is Alanaan) but was halted because of the lack of material he had now since he was actually going for Hanged-Man arcana before switching to Death arcana mid-way.
Oga decided to end his stream after this talk, so he started reading out the superchats he got from his new year karaoke relay until today and ended the stream after that.
