Extreme Frustration
Because your natural mind typically experiences a heightened level of tension during an attack, your emotions may rage and contradict what you know to be the promises of God. Enduring a long, ceaseless period of battle makes it very easy to give in to extreme frustration and irritation. These emotions will attempt to dominate your life, creating friction with those around you. This is part of the multipronged strategy of the enemy.
Avoid surrounding yourself with people who will cater to your emotions and have a pity party with you. You need some friends who are fighters! Resist the attack with your words. Negative proclamations go forth and open doors to the spirit realm.
We slam those doors shut by counteracting them. We open our mouths and tell the enemy, “Satan, I resist you and I bind your lies. I break your power off my life and command you to go!” When you march around your house resisting the devil and speaking the Word, the whole atmosphere will change! Your words will open the gates of glory and usher in the King.
That, however, is not the way of life you learned when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Ephesians 4:20‭-‬24 NIV
But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
James 3:14‭-‬16 NIV

Our God Always Helps Us
The deadline is nearing, the bank account is draining, a child is wandering, a marriage is muddied, the final project is looming, hope is fluttering, and a voice in your mind says, “you’re on your own this time.” Nothing destroys confidence quite like the notion that the only thing separating your life from your greatest fear is you. Why? Because deep downbeneath a pile of tough fronts and costumed confidence - we know we’re far too thin and cracked to dam up a flood of discouragement.
Well, that was depressing. No wait, it’s not. This idea that we can’t do it alone actually promises comfort for the lonely and rest for the weary. God didn’t intend for us go at it alone. When we realize we can’t, we open up the floodgates to the One Who can. His power is made perfect in our weakness. We may be frail, but He’s strong. We may be cracked, but He fills us. He is our constant help in times of trouble. He is our comforter in the scariest low places, and He’s the one who says, “Hey! Lay down and take a rest next to this peaceful stream.” He is NOT, the one who says, “You’re on your own this time.” In fact, I’m confident because He’s the one who says, “I am with you always.”
Try this: Think about facing the one thing that makes you feel most uneasy right now. Now, realize you don’t have the strength to face it alone and rely on God to be your confidence as you take the next step.
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
Hebrews 13:5‭-‬6 NIV
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:1 NIV
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalms 23:1‭-‬6 NIV

Attack Symptom 1 - Lack of Spiritual Passion
There are two easily identifiable signs to watch for that signal a spiritual attack is under way.
Waning tenacity: This is signaled by a decreasing level of tenacity for the things of God. When Satan's minions are coming against you, your prayer life will seem to be stalled. It feels as though it is almost impossible to touch God in the same way you so easily did in a previous season. This is one of the enemy's tactics.
Dulled purpose and passion: A highlight of our spiritual lives is discovering a sense of purpose. An inward passion ignites as destiny is unfolded and vision released. But under the dark cloud of a spiritual attack the senses grow dull, and the passion turns into apathy. If you remain in this condition, it is possible you will head down a road of deception and away from the call that is on your life.
You must lift up your voice and command the enemy to take his hands off you! You break the attack with your words. Words are keys that open and close spiritual doors. You use words of strength to tell Satan, “No!” A general does not ask the troops to advance. He commands them. In the same way you command the attack to be broken in the name of Jesus.
The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him;
Psalm 37:23 NIV
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Psalm 139:13‭-‬14 NIV
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
James 1:2‭-‬3 NIV
