Context for both of these:

First play was in Coven TT a few weeks ago and I named myself "Qin Yi" in game for that game after Qin Yi from Shining Nikki and I got Coven Leader and I wanted to try getting majority early on because we had TT Vigi so against the whole wishes of the rest of my team I witched the TT into the Tracker claim and while Dusa ragequit D2 and Necro got hung D2 and me, TT, and the Poisoner were ALL outted as evil, I managed to be loud enough to make sure town did not vote up either the Poisoner or TT Vigi and got my faction to win when it was probably not deserved (especially since I had no claim) and both Town and Coven hated my strategy that game for understandable reasons.

Second play I went with the name "baby chirp" (one of my regular in game names in ToS) for that game and I got TT Investigator in Classic TT back in 2021 and the GF 8athat game suggested I claim TP so I went with a Doctor claim and went on the Jailor to get "confirmed" by the Lookout. There were two other Investigators that game and I was checked by one of them on Night 1 and they asked me for my role and will, which I gave them, and as a result I got pushed but ultimately the Witch got hung that day even tho they left when they got put up the stand. The Jailor proceeded to not jail me but instead jail and execute the Investigator who called me out as fake and even though I was somewhat outted as fake, I still managed to sheep the Jailor and the Lookout for most of the game, though the Veteran wanted me hung. I mean, I was the only "confirmed" TP claim because the actual Doctors were not on Jailor (one was a racist spammer and thrower who did absolutely nothing but be racist and spam (that person obviously got reported and banned), the other was one of those non-meta players who does not go on the Jailor at all and both got hung before I did oddly enough). I only lost that game because I did not Veticide and the Vet was actively pushing me to get hung along with the Invest that checked me early on.

And oddly enough, I did not get reported for throwing in either one of these games even though it could arguably have been warranted.

So, if you had to choose which play was more of a Mad Man big brain play, which one would you choose and why?

Guys... this video has been living in my head rent free for almost a week or more now. I keep coming back to it. Please listen to it. This has to be one of the better covers I've seen in a while.

Johnathan sounds perfect. Righteous even.

Young Joseph honestly fits for the genre his op has. The jazzy... but still funky tones suit his voice and it sounds like he's having fun.

Jotaro sounds like he's torn between enjoying the singing and hating it, but in a good way. His voice doesn't go robotic at all, he just sounds like he doesn't know what to feel for Stand Proud.

For Sono Chi no Kioku, honestly this one was the surprise trap card. You NEVER hear an ai cover using Old Joseph. But this one does. Jotaro and Old Joseph sound wonderful together, and the third voice? I'm honestly kinda leaning to it being Kakyoin or Polnareff, because it certainly isn't Johnathan or Dio. Really leaning to Kakyoin.

Josuke isn't without his struggles but he still sounds wonderful. Where his own vocals fall short, he gets uplifted and aided by the overlaying of the harmonies from the original track. Great Days does wonderfully. His voice REALLY fits for "chase" imo, and Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town is just a fun ride.

Giorno... hooooo boi, my baby boy. He's showing his determination in both, and just like Josuke for when it came vocals, the backing harmonies for Traitor's Requiem really do help him in the long run. He did a wonderful job.

Jolyne? She's the star of this. I can't say that lightly. She IS the star of this. Her vocals are so so clear and emotional. And a plus? For both of her op's, she goes screamo. And not that typical ai screechy voice where it can't handle the note or range. No, its INTENTIONAL screamo. She's literally tapping into her mother's idol power and belting her lungs out. It sounds amazing.

just venting about irl things

Ya know it just blows me away sometimes. When I was a kid/teen I was really into rock and punk, but I was also a Black girl so of course I was endlessly teased and bullied over my artistic tastes and how I presented myself to the world. Everyone was in on it but the majority of this criticism came from other Black girls. Blah blah something something internal racism internal misogynoir etc. But one thing I never did was encourage racial assimilation or criticize my peers for "acting Black" in the same way that I was criticized for "acting white." I didn't back then and I do not today. Black Americans are as diverse as any other group of people and we are allowed to express ourselves however we'd like, including in the most typical, expected, and stereotypical ways. The Black experience is valid, always.

Now that I'm an adult I can't help but notice that it is the dummies who ostracized me and tried to bully me into conformity who have all kinds of smoke for ghetto Black women on television. Straight up losing their minds over Glorilla's accent or the way Young Miami speaks. Accusing these young Black women artists of bringing our entire community down for speaking the way they've always spoken, they way that y'all yourselves yes YOU speak. The way your motherfuckin children speak. Actually using the word "ebonics" to describe the way these women speak.

I don't know that I have like 'smart words' right now to describe how I feel, but this shit really does blow my mind. To have been treated like I was a traitor by members of my community when I was little, just to see y'all dumb asses exalting and worshipping whiteness and racial conformity as an adult. Y'all treated me like I was the one who didn't "get it" but now look at you hatin' on a young, successful Black woman for being Black in public.
