So I REALLY got into the OSC lately and with TPOT 16 coming soon…I decided I was gonna draw some art! Based on the “thanks for 4m” art.

the version with and without glue arent much different but i gotta wait for the glue to dry overnight to fix it ^^’

TPOT 2 and BFDIA 18 (Pin character prediction)

I think I have an idea of how Pin’s arc is going to go, and I think these two episodes have some interesting parallels so I wanna talk about it…

So, Pin is notoriously villainous in BFDIA, especially in the most recent episode. Coiny has been especially loyal to her throughout BFDIA, even digging down to hell for her, but she just. Lets him fall off the tower to win for herself.

But in TPOT 2, she says she doesn’t know why Coiny “Keeps pretending BFDIA was fun.” You could interpret this to be referring to early BFDIA, as Pin lost her limbs and face at the time and was just tormented in general, but I think their conversation beforehand suggests something else.

In TPOT 2, Coiny decided to use glue to make a block tower higher than everyone else’s. Pin gets mad and accuses him of cheating, and he says “Since when did you care about cheating? You can’t just pretend BFDIA didn’t happen!”

And she responds, “Actually, I can! Because it sucked.”

Along with her line in TPOT 16, quote, “Maybe BFDIA was a fluke…” I think she’s not as one sided as everyone seems to think.

Pin is kind of a jerk in BFDIA, but I think by the end of the season, she’ll end up regretting her actions. I think her line in TPOT 16 implies that she did well in BFDIA, and I truly believe that she might win the season, but after seeing how much she’s hurt those around her and betrayed Coiny’s trust, she feels guilty about what she did.

I think that would also make for a more natural progression into IDFB and BFB, where she and Coiny are friends again. They were able to make up after BFDIA. That could also explain her line to book in BFB (though I don’t remember much of BFB, I believe she says “It’s tough to patch things up with someone after you’ve hurt them.)

And in TPOT, when she sees Coiny using tactics she deems unfair, the reason she feels so offended and defensive is because after she did something similar, maybe it took everyone a while to warm up to her again.

And, MAYBE this is a bit of a stretch, but in TPOT 9, Pin seems really distressed by Coiny’s elimination. She says she “wanted to go farther with him” and that she “has no idea how she’ll do this without him.” By the end of the episode, she learns that she can be strong without him and fight for herself, which is great and all, but…

Why would she need reassurance on that? If she really did so well in BFDIA (and we see her doing really well so far, even without Coiny as a teammate) then why wouldn’t she be confident in her own abilities? Why does she NEED Coiny in order to do well?

Maybe the reason she was so nervous about his elimination isn’t because of a lack of self confidence, maybe she was just worried that she might hurt somebody again. Coiny was kind of her anchor who would stop her from overthinking too much and could keep her grounded in the moment. She knew she could do well on her own, but she was worried because she didn’t want to take things too far like she did in BFDIA.

Anyways. Yeah there’s my analysis.

I’ve seen a lot of people saying BFDIA is ruining Pin, but I think we just gotta trust the writers on this one, idk. I feel like if you fill in the gaps a bit, her behavior actually makes a lot of sense. Pin has a strong sense of justice, she holds strong grudges, and she might not always realize how her actions affect others. I think once BFDIA is over, she’ll realize that she betrayed Coiny’s trust and hurt his feelings, and maybe that could lead to her more nervous demeanor in the later seasons.

Anyways, idk, what do y’all think? Did I cook?

some hcs as an offering - pie has eaten whole peppers raw and is undefeated in spice contests - she actually likes hanging out with book outside of the competition, and wishes they could hang out more - if she had a deal made between her and one, it'd probably be something like 'returning everything to the way it was' (like having all of her friends back or something along the lines)

PIE PIE PIE PIE!!!!!! I swear she doesn't get enough love. Canon!Pie is so chill il love her!!!

Pie vs Pi isn't canon but I can draw inspiration from that to hammer down her Pre-BFDI life!

Faithful, mellow, and relaxed. She's got a "whatever happens happens" mindset. She's not the best at advice but she is a good listening ear.

Pie has that "whatever" mindset with foods too. She'll try most anything you put in front of her. Whole raw peppers? Sure, she'll have it and then some.

Her favorite food is tacos with an excessive amount of lemon juice.

Lower-middle working class individual. She has bills to pay and is working a 9 to 5. She likes to feel AWAKE before going to work so you can trust she's in bed by 11 and up by 7-- she'll take a cup of coffee and a jog after getting up and stretching.

I like the idea of her and Book being pals! Perhaps they were highschool friends who stayed in contact. When Book applied and got into BFDIA, Pie cheered her on.

She was surprised when a third season was announced(IDFB isn't an in-universe season), including a return of all S1 veterans, S2 contestants, and applications being open.

Applying for BFB was a for fun choice. She wasn't expecting to get in but when she saw the ad for it but she tried anyways!!

A shady bus picked her up and brought her to the playing field. I think starting BFB with her getting up and going would be a fun change.

This bus has other new contestants, some introduced in BFDIA as spectators promised to be let into another season and others who applied through the same as Pie did.

She knew the cast would be big, but...

SIXTY-FOUR PEOPLE!! Announcer must have big plans for this season---

She has a WTF moment when a blue and yellow figure comes crashing into Earth with a robot and something in their hand. Upon landing, the impact destroys the recovery center. They blow on their palm and Black Hole appears.

Black Hole stammers but collects himself and Pie checks up on him!

The blue and yellow creatures are BFB's hosts. Announcer had nothing to do with this and Pie realized that upon seeing how... destructive... their entrance is.

Side character material but I will compensate. There's a large cast in BFB and TPOT. She could use a shorr episode like Cake. That would be cool!

Still figuring out how I want to handle death in the Redux. There's not really consequences to killing? But murder is also frowned on. It's controversial.

She meets Remote!! Remote's very happy to be there and wants to get to know Pie. They stick together as the first two of Death PACT.

Black Hole kinda. Trails after them before asking to join. Pie respects him as a leader-- in BFB, he is the glue of Death PACT.

Bottle is one of the more expressive team members. Pie likes that she knows how to make everyone smile when they're feeling down.

Pen's hardworking and handy. He comes up with good ideas and bounces them off of the team every time.

Pillow... Pie isn't a huge fan. She's running around getting into trouble and takes a lot of focus away from Death PACT's duties. She's on the team about preventing death yet she's trying to cause it. Just because???

Tree is reasonable and works in tandem with Black Hole as the team's leaders. He's stern but it comes from good intentions.

Most contestants look at Liy and see someone who's irritable and cranky. But we all have our bad days, yeah? Pie and Liy are great friends by BFB 4.

I mean . Look at them

When Liy is eliminated, she's furious. She gives her speech and Pie walks up to her, ready to offer comfort, and Liy pulls away. Liy then turns her switch over to the dark orange side, takes a deep breath, and switches it back.

She seems like she's about to say something else when Four sucks her up. Wow.

Pie is just befuddled. Wow.

Pie is down to move to TPOT when Two offers everyone a spot. Four's hurt a lot of people and Pie would like to not be apart of that.

Death PACT Again forms. Pie isn't around long enough to get to know the newer members too well. Opinions are formed though !

Pen, Pillow, and Bottle switch teams. Pie is sad to see them go(...save for Pillow. Less of a concern now.)

Pie gets to know Lightning the least. He doesn't think before he acts but he's got passion.

Marker is an optimistic goofball. Pie is glad to still have one on the team with Bottle leaving.

FANNY! Spiteful as she is, Pie managed to get to know her better. Pie is a good listener, after all!! Maybe Fanny just needs to blow off some steam. They're chill.

Pie is eliminated in TPOT 2. It's whatever, honest!! She'll be fine, she doesn't make a big deal of it.

Two is nice enough to actually let her get some last words out. Pie gives her team some encouragement, then she's sent away.

I'm so fascinated by the way that Pen, when he was talking about how he missed Blocky when talking to Pencil and the sort of implication with what he sees when watching Blocky's Funny Doings International. He doesn't seem to watch for "haha funnie" reasons but as a sort of learning experience, like he knows snow + gasoline = glue in the BFDI universe BECAUSE it was one of Blocky's pranks. Which makes me believe that Pen sees Blocky as some kind of embodiment of wisdom which is so funny to me

Oh hell yeah! TPOT debuters finally got a focus episode! A little sad that none of the debuts who haven’t spoken yet still didn’t get any lines, but at least we now know that PDA is an absolute menace!

Also it was nice seeing Glue and Juice Box (or OJ) appear too.

- I’m currently redrawing the scene with Conch Shell getting hospitalized with this meme. No I am not kidding.

- I wonder how Shopping Cart began to hate PDA. They seemed chill with each other in the first episode, where they were trying to open a door together. And I saw in the credits that Shoppy looked really sad when they were in the photo with PDA :[

- So we found out where Camera was, but where tf was 9-Ball?

- Speaking of Camera, loved their username XD

- Rubber Spatula counting. Bro sounded really hesitant to actually threaten PDA (1 2 2.5 2.75 is crazy) They seem like a really nice person I hope the “Just-keep-hurting-Rubber-Spatula” thing was a one-off and people don’t actually hate them.

- Last but not least, the with the two PDAs… ngl kinda though the one in the mirror was gonna give genuine advice but the other would choose not to listen to them. But no the former gave the most shittiest advice ever 😭 Absolutely loved that scene

And that basically wraps up all my thoughts! Loved this short, awesome comedy. 10/10. I am satisfied. I shall die happy now. /j

You know thinking about it...One has to have like the ability to silence those she has made deals with right ?

I was thinking about it when people talked about how Fanny and Ice Cube should talk to everyone about One in TPOT 15 scene where they both aknowledge One.

But like...why keep it a secret ? If there is no inability to talk about it, talking about One to the others would be a very good idea. Especially when they started to glue missing posters all over the place.

But that also made me realize, One would be really reckless if she allowed the people she made a deal with to blabber on like that. She's already trying to keep secret why would she risk Two knowing about what she's doing ?

The fact the scene in TPOT 15 as well shows both of them nodding in silence kinda also hints to me that this the furthest they can talk about it.

BFDIA 9 REVIEW!! (SPOILERS AHEAD!!!)

- i now officially love all three teams man (freesmart and woah bunch fighting for 1st place fr)

- As a coiny fan, I felt deprived (although he was mentioned a lot so it's okay). As a coinpin fan, I was fed :)

- beforehand, most of the coinpin moments were mainly from Coiny's side (not counting TPOT 9), i liked seeing the other way around happen this time

- the jokes, references and moments were top tier. I went back to my childhood fr, I LOVED IT

- BFDI hell before gta 6?? /j these scenes was WILD OMD

- needle and coiny swapping voices was peak

- fries was funny

Things I took note of

- WOAH bunch seems to care about coiny a lot which was super cute to see. Loved their bonding moment where they had fun with the challenge by channeling their inner coiny. Feels like he's almost the glue between them.

- freesmart was super fun and silly this episode. Bfdia pencil > every other pencil. I love her development here. The bubble scene was cute

- gelatin downgraded from when he was first introduced i cann see his pre split bfb personality now

- pin loves win tokens but didn't gaf about them this episode (maybe coz her fav win token has been missing for a month hehe)
