The more I'm into my femininity, the less showing my clothes become.
As the years went by, I found myself attracted to long skirts, long dresses, long shirts. I found myself attracted to feminine, yet modest cloth, that hugged my curves yet did not show them. I love only suggesting my curves.
I didn't lose my femininity one bit, rather it got so much stronger.
You see, now my husband was the only one to see it. Now I was a present to him, and a mystery to the world. And yes, that felt really so good.
The lingerie collection I got as a present when I told him about this is a most loved testament that he may enjoy this as well. ❤️😌👀

On of the saddest things is when the redpillers/trad men go on tirades about'modern women' is that they have conservative and tradwomen alike desperately trying to suck up to them.
'not me, I'm not like that! I'm a good woman!' ' I want to submit and I hate feminism and modern values just as much. Don't hate me pls 😥'
It's so sad and beyond pathetic.
Always remember, you are one step away from being lumped in with every other woman. No matter how pretty you make yourself or how many laundry tips you know. And by throwing other women under the bus, who will you have to turn to if things sour with your perfect man?.

why do so many weird side blogs ran by males that comment on pro life content always end up being those weird conservative ones that call themselves Christians, but reblog porn, say diversity is white genocide and push weird lifestyles like eating raw milk and meat over everything else
I really think they must be bots at this point because they’re always the same saying the same thing?
Because (conservative) pro life men realized that being pro life was a convenient way to try to control & shun (liberal) women WHILE coming off self righteous to a specific demographic of women (tradwomen, pickmes, etc.). It's a win-win situation : it leaves them room to harass, mock women but ALSO wear an appearance of righteousness in the eyes of women from their side.
If you're observant, you'll notice most Christian pro lifers, while not being into porn, are like that. Their empathy for abortive women is near zero, and it's all their fault for liking sex and being sexually reckless.... but when it comes to acknowledge men responsibility they tend to be less...bold in their judgement. I'll never forget that Catholic scrote who tried to argue porn was as damaging as (read) erotica (for women).... Freaking clown.
I hardly know a pro life man on Tumblr who's remotely redeemable. They all come off insufferable poseur feeling some weird fulfilment policing women one way or another, but NEVER have the same energy when it comes to men.

Like tradwomen really hate to envision young women thriving bc they were too dumb to think that they could possibly do that themselves

Being Of Two Minds
Tumblr media
That fiction can serve truth as well as history is my long-held belief, though I base that judgment on intuition rather than science. Understandably, when I came across an article that upheld that belief, I made note of it. The author, Esther Jones of Clark University, cited a 2016 study in Social and Personality Psychology Compass that found reading fiction “involves a process of ‘dual empathy’ simultaneously engaging in intense personal  processing of challenging issues, while ‘feeling through’ characters, both of which produce benefits.”  Simply put, fiction does more than reflect reality. It expands it, doing so by exposing the reader to the odd, the fanciful, or strange, but at a distance. Distance is important because it allows the imagination to grapple with complexities that otherwise might be threatening. Jones concludes, “Agile habits of the mind, may produce resiliency and creativity the everyday life and reality typically do not.” A second study augments this view.  Dual reality exists not only in fiction but in our daily existence and is most active when we attempt to understand the mental state of someone else. Sometimes we do it so well, we find ourselves saying, “I know what you’re thinking.” According to this study, “The ability to think about another person’s mind is one of the most sophisticated adaptations of human brains.”  When we attempt these mental connections with others, we are not only acknowledging what’s going on in the world but we are extending our efforts to understand another point of view. That stretch is the same Jones attributed to fiction reading in that it increases the brain’s plasticity. How far can that plasticity go?  For a hint, we need only observe the degree to which long-established couples tend to mirror one another.  Given the brain’s ability to accommodate to other world views, a person would think societies would clump together like iron bits to a magnet. But we know that isn’t the case. Societies can fall apart. The key to cohesion demands shared information and personal motivation. When those two factors aren’t in alignment with the main group, individuals who feel challenged tend to double down on what they imagine they know and treat contrary information as lies. (Sisters In Hate, by Seyward Darby, Little, Brown &Co. 2020, pg. 199.) Followers of Tradwomen, a movement gaining traction on social media, is a prime example. Its members are women who oppose feminism and falsely believe its values oppose traditional ones, like homemaking. They hearken, instead, to what they call historical models–not of those 1950s and 60s but to agrarians times when work in the home was thought to be a legitimate arm of the family’s economy. They take an interest in natural foods, scratch recipes, herbal remedies, and home crafts–interests which aren’t antithetical to feminism, by the way. The point of disjuncture lies in the tradwomen’s belief that men have the final judgment in all matters. I am not clear how these women arrived at this last conclusion. My brain isn’t plastic enough to embrace a mindset that chooses subservience over equality. I do know they are drawing upon traditions that have oppressed women for centuries rather than to have served them well.  To conflate obeisance with “honored status” exhibits a capacity to embrace a mind-bending contradiction. Some might call it a form of madness.  Since I sometimes think we are all mad, it’s difficult to judge, however.

Tradwomen: ugh I’d love to be a housewife but there’s not enough economic stability for that anymore, not like in the good old days where one income could look after an entire household
Stop pretending that there was ever a point in history where housewives weren’t in an incredibly financially precarious position. Like sure wages have decreased drastically but even if you lived in a family supported by one man’s wages, there was literally nothing guaranteeing that money went to you. It was more common than not for men to simply drink or gamble away the money and leave the family to fend for themselves. And no legal protections for women this happened to. Studies continue to show that when fathers are given a parental pay out far less of that money goes to the family than when mothers are given it (see Invisible Women). Men have always been shit providers and relying on them has never been a feasible option, stop blaming the women who fought to actually get you rights and options for the fact that your fantasy doesn’t exist.
Because that’s what tradwives’ arguments actually come down to. The idea that men used to look after women but they don’t anymore because women got ungrateful, and if we could just show our gratitude again then men would have to care of us. But gaining rights hasn’t made us lose men’s protection: it was never there in the first place.

I always find it refreshing to find a real life, honest to goodness gentleman on here. It’s sadly a rare thing in my experience… most tradmen sexualize tradwomen and quite frankly it disgusts me to no end. I appreciate this blog tremendously. Keep on with the good work.
Wow, i hardly ever get any positive validation. I appreciate it greatly!
I agree there are few real gentlemen, and most of us are older. (I wish Tumblr was around when i was a young man — i might have struck up some nice conversations.)
If you dug deep enough into my blog, you can see that im not Catholic (which you espouse on your blog), but i consider traditional Catholics as allies in the fight against deviancy and evil. We'll debate doctrine later when theres time and will.
And as far as oversexualizing traditional roles, it happens just as much from too many women as well. Submissiveness is meant for harmony not degradation. And as leaders of the family, men must learn to be servants more than overlords. This is an often overlooked Christian value. Real gentleman understand this importance.

Honestly the sad thing is that in a lot of ways, the tradwomen movement could really, really use me, if they were smarter, because I’ll go on for ages about how I feel like there are a ton of women throughout history who get overshadowed or tossed aside for not being “badass” enough (by not carrying a sword) and will go on at length about them (PLEASE shut up about Gráinne O’Malley, there were much more badass women from 16th century Ireland that we ACTUALLY HAVE RELIABLE RECORDS OF), BUT.........I still think that women who carried a sword were women (so long as they didn’t identify, explicitly, as men), not “men in dresses”. And I still think that both sides deserve kudos, both for the ones who found power within the system and those who found power outside of it, because the odds were still stacked against them.

Okay, I'll say it I'll say it I'll say it. gross internet boys who go googoogaga apeshit over the thought of "tradwomen" need love soooo bad. They salivate at the very thought of genuine affection. Someone Help those men. Like that's how extremism is born, when people just love to hate them. And I get it but No.

it's nice to see someone who is both prolife but also doesn't constantly let men walk over herself. i've had so much trouble finding likeminded people on this website. most 'tradwomen' end up having good values, but also never criticize any of the men at all.
i'll see someone write a post about how sex trafficking and p*rn are bad, and then the guy she reblogged it from is a "catholic" but talks about how he'd date anywhere between literally 10 years younger than him and 2 years older than him. on posts about pro-life stuff these guys will put the blame entirely on the woman, as if men don't need to impregnate women in the first place for there to be any pregnancy at all. and there's soooo many guys who are just straight up racist or obsessed with pretending they're some kind of Roman king or Aryan guy, or whatever, and no one ever criticizes them because they act like these guys are truly "faithful".
i'll see women talk about wanting a provider, someone who is kind to them, someone to take care of and love, someone to make food for, etc and tradmen will talk about wanting someone who wears x or y, she has to be pretty, she has to have their babies, etc. they never talk about what they can do for her.
I'm glad you enjoy my take anon :) I'll always defend tradfem against radfem harassment and male fetishists BUT they indeed aren't free from inconsistent or hypocrisy
I already stated 99% of tradmen on this hellsite were wicked. They're so disgusting and it's soooo obvious they use the trad brand to excuse their predatory tendencies and fetishism... Why the heck are they reblogging only hot women and not....male role models? They're unsurprisingly misogynist too and yes, they'll always find a way to blame women. Either we have no standards and that's how we end up with bums/single mothers and don't deserve compassion, OR we have too high standards and we are materialistic and greedy... An advice anon: NEVER listen to a single male whining about women with high standards bc he's most likely a bum himself. That's for his own benefit to pressure women into lowering their standards. See how hard they went against FDS? NOW you know why.
My take about the whole Aryan King lane is that it helps them cope with their own mediocrity. "at least I'm not a low IQ nigger🤪" they say from their parents' home basement with a 100k student debt, no job, overweight, no social life and under antidepressants prescription. That's also why they're pissy at race mixing: they hate to see their Aryan queens waste their breedablity with other (inferior) races It makes them soooo pissy lmao
Here's that tradman weirdo I often see lurking onto tradfem notes. This was on a comment about a demented pro choicers ironically stating pro lifers wouldn't bear seeing their daughter having a kid with a Black man and dude just had to shoehorn his pathological racism:
Tumblr media
See this clownery ? Interracial is "wrong" now? On what standards? Christians? Does this fake Christian know that the Apostle Timothy was mixed (Jew and Greek)?? See? That's one of the things that irks me the most with Christians these days: it's always those with the LEAST knowledge, who are always out there opening their mouth to say obvious profanities and biblical inacurracies.
The blinds are leading the blinds. We are truly on the end times....
Your last paragraph sums it up. I made a bunch of posts (tagged #tradmen) where I call out the total unbalance between tradmen and tradfem content. It wouldn't be so weird if tradfem themselves didn't see any problem with it and keep doing the most about male, when in return they keep paying them dust..... Embarassing.
..IDK maybe deranged radfem are right to clown them for being delusional and male identified :/

oh my god i came across the tradwomen community on tumblr and i saw their insistence on submission, gentleness, doing as you're told, speaking softly and when spoken to and delicate feminine beauty as the only way to truly be a woman and that's why i made the comparison. but i read more i am seeing that it's an alt right thing so yeah my bad on that. sorry for such a terrible comparison.
Oh no, I hope I didn’t make you feel bad! Thanks for coming back and clearing that up though!
Tbh, I can totally see why you made that comparison. It’s sad but it’s true that there are people in the fandom who weaponise traditional femininity against the characters who don’t subscribe to it. I’ve seen far too many metas degrading Dany and Arya for it, it’s really disgusting, so it’s not so far-fetched that you’d think of tradwives.
The whole alt-right connection surprised me too and I had to go back and edit my answer as well because I just thought they were women that wanted to be traditional. Turns out we were both bamboozled by white supremacists, oops. Can’t trust anything these days, ugh. But thanks again for following up! ❤️
