Master List of Goth Bands from Latin America

I have made an expansive list of all of the goth bands that I have found that come from Latin America whose music I have shared on this blog. This list is compiled by continent/region and country. Next to each band, I have a small description of their precise subgenre to the best of my abilities. Additionally, this band list is only what I know about at this point, so expect it to be added onto over time and please add on yourself if you of someone I haven’t included. I tried to represent as many countries and as many different kinds of goth as possible. This is specifically artists from Latin America, not bands from the US and other countries with Latino members (though some bands are international or have relocated, for which I try to specify). I hope that you find something on this list that you like.

Mexico

Mekrokiev - goth rock/deathrock band, probably Mexico’s most active modern goth band, sound has varied in heaviness over their different eras of existing

Aves a Veces - goth band whose sound has evolved over the years, but mostly stayed on the more mellow side of goth rock

El Clan - dramatic dark rock band, has utilized sounds from most of the darker sides of rock at some point (postpunk, darkwave, even metal)

Cruz de Navajas - atmospheric postpunk with a female singer, leans towards fast-paced tun

Luna Mysti - alternative darkwave band brought to us from the man behind Maldoror and Las Danzas (Marco Lacroix) but with a female singer this time

Godless Procession - dark hard rock with darkwave and industrial influences and one of the most dramatic male lead singers I have ever heard
