That was a face Jasper didn’t think she’d ever see again, but there they were. Did Jasper even dare to approach them? The last time they’d met, things had been decidedly awful between them. Maybe things could be better? Jasper could hope...

“W-Wait a second,” Jasper said. She swam from where she was in the fountain and over to the blue Gem, hoping that Lapis would stay put. Her hope also was that, despite the marks that lingered from her corruption, Lapis wouldn’t be too put off by her appearance. If they were, then Jasper would just have to suck it up and move on.

“I just want to talk.”

Steven slowly stepped closer to Lapis. With a worried frown on his face, he slowly placed his hand on her shoulder, trying not to startle her. 

Sigh

“Lapis?” He whispered gently. “Are you.. feeling okay? Would you mind some company?”

      Steven’s content to listen to her for a time, but he also feels like it’s dishonest to not announce his approach. This was something he wasn’t supposed to hear. So he shuts the door behind him a little harder than he usually would for this time of night, just to make sure she hears him.

      “I like your song,” he eventually blurts out, wringing his hands. “But...”

It sounded kind of sad, he thinks.

      “Don’t you wanna come inside?”

lol anon? never heard of her. Anyways, I originally followed you first on my Kagami blog from Miraculous Ladybug because I had seen you interact with my mutuals and decided to check you out. Not only did you have so many muses, i ended up actually talking to you on my Meteora blog from SVTFOE when we had Pidge and her interacting only to find out you had been the same Pidge I had shipped with a long time ago on my Nyma/Rolo and Beezer blog. gem type: lapis and amethyst make cobalt aura quartz!

personality: at her core, cobalt aura quartz is a nihilist. she swears a lot. things don’t matter because earth will be swallowed up by the sun in a few billion years anyway. cobalt just kind of doesn’t really care. she’s not a very useful fusion to form, but she’s therapeutic for the both of them.

stability: cobalt is relatively stable. she splits sometimes because of lapis’s apprehension about fusion after her past experience with it.

height: slightly shorter than opal.

“Oh-” The pearl barely even reacted as Lapis swept her up into her arms, though she was clearly surprised by the development, considering how her expression actually changed for a moment. Instinctively, she simply allows herself to be lifted, but is confused as to why the lapis was squeezing her like that.

A curious trinket her drones found while combing the area for Homeworld technology. She giggled to herself at such a childish little nursery rhyme she recited to herself. How quaint. She turned over the mirror to see that a Lapis Lazuli gem was stuck on to it.

“Hey, Lapis,” Bismuth greeted. She’d decided to linger around Rose’s fountain for a little while while the rest of the previously corrupted Gems continued to relax there. Mostly, she wanted to be there to help them find their bearings. Having a friend nearby was a welcome thing, too.

“Probably goes without sayin’, but I think we worked real well together back on Homeworld,” she said. “You doin’ all right?” Bismuth figured that she might as well ask. They were allies now. It just made sense to check in now and again.

     gems --- unfortunately had the ability to make her.. very uneasy. though the war had been thousands of years ago, rosie’s memories of it were still very fresh, and it was easy to react on instinct when she saw another one of her kind. shifting into a defensive position, rosie’s fingers hovered over her gem uneasily, unsure of how to act. she hadn’t fought in some time, she felt rather rusty, really.
