Jessie Mei Li characters fave to least fave.

1, Rose the agency-love me a party girl. and she knows a thing or two about wine.

2, Kiera, travelooper she loves books and is a dog person

3, Haruka, we might regret this, & Ellie, havoc, tied in third place. Both standout characters. Haruka, though an Arse hole, she's funny and gorgeous and when she's playing her sound healing app she makes the same face I do when listening to opera.

Ellie is a cute and angry police doggie I desperately want to pet and treat. She can arrest me and I would fight for her to lead the second army and be queen of Ravka. Because-Hey! She may be cute but she's not into bs.

4, Alina, Shadow and Bone. Alina is an Arsehole but I think unlike Haruka had she been raised under different circumstances she could be Ellie. She's very hard for me to like but there are a few moments when Alina is less arsehole and more awesome. Someone I'd want to hug and cheer for. But alas, those moments were only a few. I don't hold Jessie responsible for me finding Alina hard to love. She's not in control of what the writers or show runners do to the character. She's just doing a job. at the end of the day.

Tied in fourth place, Lara. Last night in Soho. Like Alina she's a bit of a sheep, only breaking from the mob when she feels the big bad Jocasta can't notice. Like Alina she will patronise you to your face but unlike Alina she hasn't got a lot of development so reasoning for as to why she is a patronising sheep can only be due to peer pressure, etic.
