Based on a conversation with friends, OC vibe alignment chart (whether by personality or just the form of affection, mostly a combination of both) based on the nonsense words I've incorporated into my regular vocabulary from tumblr (ft. only the OCs I've been thinking about recently). Plus a template for those interested below the cut

Idk if this is anything, but I was talking to my partner about how we experience our autism and I eventually came to this trifecta.

He feels very human. But so many things indicate to him that what he thinks of as the human experience is subjective and not necessarily shared by the majority, what most others think of as being human usually has nothing or very little to do with what he experiences. And since he can’t relate to anyone about it, it can feel more appropriate to think of themself as an alien.

I, on the other hand, feel like some sort of animal. I feel different from the humans around me, but I still understand a lot of things about them, but more so in the way a dog understands what pointing means. Not quite human but human adjacent.

The robot one I don’t have as well of an intimate understanding of, but I’ve seen other people relate to it and sometimes robot characters hit me hard hah. Something about having trouble with understanding emotions.

So robot - trouble with emotions, animal - not quite human just something similar, alien - feeling like an outsider to the majority

Saturn or Neptune in the 6th/8th and 12th houses can drain/make you exhausted so easily. It takes so much mental stimulation and sometimes can even be a depressive placement

Air Mercury like9s to isolate from people or from being social sometimes. It's ironic for the air element to do that.. but social battery turns off

The planets Uranus and Mercury are where your inspirations and ideas come from. When you feel inspired, you can be an indicator of these planets being activated in your chart

Venus can represent cheating just as it represents love. But also, the 5th house is associated with infidelity, too. That's why ppl with mercury or gemini in the 5th house can often be the victim of a love triangle or lover rejection

Leo/Scorpio/Libra and Aries in the 5th house usually tend to have a big libido, and that can result in the native having a big dating pool

Earth Venus placements can be seen as the top most loyal placements. I remember writing this too when I had a thing for men with Taurus Venus. That thing is gone now.. but still

People with the sun in the 6th house/sun at 6° 18° people want your advice on certain things. Is it important for them to know your opinion

People with the moon in the 9th and 12th houses can be good at doing shadow work/healing practices. Shadow work can help a lot

Virgo Mars natives are quite picky (and reserved) when it comes to their dating life. They are very committed to their relationships, nonetheless

Pluto in the 2nd house natives might develop a big fear of losing their control/losing their possessions, Pluto in this house is extremely satisfied by money

Eros (433) in earth signs can end up putting their relationship before anything else. They focus on their needs and their partners! They are also so good at caring/taking care

This is more of a less known fact, but you can get so attached to people who have their south node in the same sign as your moon or Venus. Will also make it hard to detach from them (yk in case they're toxic or something)

Saturn Retrogade in your chart can affect your mental state by the fact that everything needs to be organized and in order

Venus x Neptune aspects, it is true that these natives will be delusional about their true love, but they can feel love at a very deep level as well. Because as many others they love with their soul

When the sun transits your 12th house, can you feel invisible during that time, feeling like people don't get in contact with you anymore and isolating yourself

The sun in your chart can also be the source of your happiness, depending on the house and aspects and ofc the degrees .

An earth moon is probably the best placement that indicates you are fully able to control your feelings. Stable emotions and full of serenity

Capricorn Placements worry so much about the future, and that can affect their mental health. Especially Risings, they always stress about things they don't know

Jupiter Dominants are also deeply aligned with the universe since Jupiter tends to be quite spiritual and a master at evolving into better

Water Signs over the 2h or 3rd house have a magical voice. Siren/Aries vibes, falling for their voice or their words. Their voice tends to be deep and sensual too

8° 20° degrees on Venus/Mercury know how to charm people with deep words. They may also possess a sensual voice

Water Degrees on your ascendant 4° 16° 28° 8° 20° 12° 24° can indicate a native with a peaceful energy, calm and pure native

So yeah, we made this uh.... Misery-CPR-Reese's Puffs alignment triangle for us, and I guess we cover all the points and sides???

For explanations... (it's mostly my assignment, but talking about it with B, it's kinda apt, anyway?)

me (Kochi) - I'd be a mix of Misery and CPR, because most of the time, I am in misery, and sometimes, when it gets bad, I get into the CPR side/point, which then drives me into further misery. (As much as possible, I don't really wanna do the sexy thinger, but hormones, I guess)

Muu - He would be CPR, at least for the most part. Let's just say that's where he got his start, anyway. And that's kind of why I didn't like him for a good part of his early days.

Gure - He'd be CPR-Reese's Puffs, cause for the most part he's all goofy and random... and then he'd be pretty much a horny babygirl sometimes. But that's probably because I don't want to, so it transfers to him, and he's more willing. (Doesn't really help that we're kind of a subsystem, I guess???)

Akkun - Reese's Puffs, for sure. Too cheerful to be Misery, and not hit with the horny, apparently. No thoughts, just meow meow.

Nehan - I would say he's a combination of Misery and Reese's Puffs, mostly for him being stoic yet random. Like one of those anime characters who don't really talk much and keep a straight face, but do outrageous things in the background.

B - I would put him straight into Misery. Not because he's IN misery, but more of he's interested in the human experience of misery. But then, he's also mostly serious, so that's that.

Spoiler Filled Review: Oathbound by Tracy Deonn

The long anticipated third novel to The Legendborn Cycle is now out in bookstores near you, and consumed by yours truly. And what a roller coaster it was, in more ways that one. And if you don't want spoilers, go read my spoiler free review.

This was my least favorite book in the series so far, although I did still enjoy it quite a bit. The first half was the weakest part of the book. Deonn really excels at the relationships and Bree's network of people and by Bree losing her memories and being isolated from almost all the characters in book 1 and 2, really made the book suffer. I liked her new relationships, they were engaging, especially with Zoe, but it felt so removed from the story and then was??? fairly easily fixed??? I was not fully invested in the story until they entered the house and I was like ooooooo it's about to get goooddddd (and I was write).

I also did not care for Will or Mariah's povs, they dragged on for me and while I think we needed to have some other pov's included, they were way too long. This is BREE'S story, I want to spend the most time with her. I liked getting the shorter chapters from Natasia (still could have been a little shorter) and the one (1) chapter from Nick but I was hankering for Bree the wholllllleeee time I reading Will and Mariah.

My favorite scenes (and I can't believe I'm saying this) will always be Bree, Nick, and Sel. Their chemistry is so off the charts and the OATHS BETWEEN THEM??? Wow. They aren't even soulmates but inextricably bound in so many ways. Like, yeah they have these bounds but they also choose each other time and time again. And it feels like it is so much more than the bounds. And they are all so ride or die for each other?? The trust they have in each other??? I'm ill. And I'm not reducing this story about institutional racism and the twisted legacies our ancestors left us into "the love triangle" because they are the core of the story. How each of them have decided to respond to their legacies is integral to the story. The way all three of them choose to rebel and choose to forge a new future??? Together??? The choices each of them make in their personal journeys (especially Bree's) are what make the story and they align so much with each other.

I might write an essay about them. I'm deeply obsessed with them.

I am glad Bree's dad is now in the loop, but I wanted to see more of his reaction. WHY IS ALICE STILL IN A COMA???? An entire book? Thanks, I hate it. She better have some very important information to reveal in book four. Honestly, a weak part of the book, if you need to keep a character out of commission that long. So much of this book was just spinning its wheels and I enjoyed reading it, and I love that we saw Bree become more powerful and learn but it felt like a stall. For all the action involved, there wasn't a ton of forward motion.

There's so many characters in this book and I felt split between a lot of minor antagonists. Could NOT keep track of the regents for the life of me. I was so disappointed with what we learned about the Morgaines and how little we learned about them. I love learning about women who have been demonized in stories told by men. I felt underwhelmed and unimpressed learning about them. They did very little in the story.

I loved all the little "gossip" sections, especially when Bree, Zoe, and Mariah would all touchbase, they were very funny scenes and brought me much joy. My favorite non Bree scene by FAR was Nick calling out the regents and the Order for their racism. Much needed. Such a badass move. So glad Bree has him as an ally in her corner.

I did really enjoy Bree coming into her power and becoming more comfortable using it. I also enjoyed she didn't lose her values when her memory was erased but again, there weren't many repercussions to her losing her memory/soul???? I would have liked more of that. Already I'm thinking about rereading it lollll.

I did read this all the day I got it and I know I will get so much more on reread, I did reread Legendborn in February and then Bloodmarked after reading Oathbound (sometimes you need to let chaos win). So even though I have a lot of complaints, I was adoring it and consumed it as fast as possible. It certainly grabbed me.

4/5 stars and I am so excited for the next one!!!
