Dear Vector Prime, does Magmatron exist in the Viron cluster?
Dear Dinosaur Denominator,
Not to my knowledge, but there is one individual to whom he bears a very strong resemblance. Like Magmatron, he possessed a tripartite spark which could be split across three separate beast modes, each embodying a different facet of his personality: Overkill, the Gigantosaurus; Divebomb, the Quetzalcoatlus; and Splashdown, the Elasmosaurus. As a combiner, they could merge to form a monstrous beast mode referred to as the “Dinosaurer”, in addition to their robot mode combination. He was named Trypticon—after the monstrous beast from Cybertronian legend.
Trypticon was eternally loyal to the Predacon Council, and was the first leader of the cel that came to be known as the “Dinobots”, named for their prehistoric alternate modes. In fact, Trypticon considered it his right to command all saurian Predacons, using intimidation to recruit even experienced veterans like Reachout, and he demanded viciousness from all of his warriors.
For much of the Cybertronian Civil War, Trypticon's domineering and cruelty went uncontested, but eventually the other Dinobots had enough, and a number of them conspired to bring about his downfall. They prevailed by isolating Trypticon's three components and preying on their individual weaknesses. Overkill was provoked into a berserker rage by Sludge, Snarl and Terrorsaur, who put him down once his mind became consumed by blind anger. For Divebomb, Terranotron and Grimlock took advantage of his pride, luring him high into the sky until he was within firing range of the team's ship, the Megalosaur. As for Splashdown, it was simply a matter of isolating him on dry land, where he was vulnerable to Slapper’s earthquakes and Triceradon’s flame breath.
With Trypticon gone, the power vacuum he left behind drew the Dinobots into infighting. While they shared a sense of relief, some were angry over having been excluded from the scheme, and some took the chance to transfer to new positions within the Predacons. The remaining Dinobots, those who had taken part in the plot, disagreed over who was the team’s rightful leader, and squabbled fiercely until Grimlock was eventually accepted in the role. But once they began dealing with the Predacon Council directly, they had their worst fears confirmed, as it became apparent that the brutal methods they had attributed to Trypticon’s ideology were in fact endemic throughout the faction—and with it seeming increasingly likely that an errant ex-Dinobot would tip off the Council as to what had transpired, they begrudgingly made the decision to defect to the Autobot side. For this, they would pay a steep price, when Terrorsaur was slain by a Predacon bounty hunter… but it was their pursuit of revenge which ultimately united the team, and gave them a righteous purpose.

Transformers Universe 2004 - Autobot Triceradon - Function: Front Line Combat - Subgroup: Dinobot - Though not incredibly bright, Triceradon was chosen to be second-in-command of the Beast Machine era Dinobots based on his amiable nature and great strength in battle. While some of his fellow Autobots are put off by his dirty tactics, as well as his sheer ferocity in the battlefield, in the end they certainly can't argue with the results.

Okay, so previously I've talked about Nightshade's alt mode (which I'm guessing will be an owl or bat) and now it's time to baselessly speculate on Jawbreaker!
Tumblr media
As much as I would like to see a connection to Beast Wars hyena Jawbreaker (who was a Maximal) . . .
Tumblr media
. . . this alt mode doesn't make sense for Earthspark Jawbreaker. Totally different vibe.
To me the name Jawbreaker could convey one of three things:
The candy. I would love it if Jawbreaker turned into the world's biggest Botbot, but this is unlikely.
Something extremely hard that enemies "break their jaws" on
Something with a powerful jaw that breaks stuff. (For example, hyenas can crack bones apart with their jaws.)
With Jawbreaker's size and broad build, I could see him being a construction vehicle. (He's built a lot like Boulder.)
Tumblr media
So perhaps he will turn into a backhoe or an excavator or other vehicle with a picky-uppy part that resembles a mouth.
Tumblr media
But wait, I'm not done theorizing yet, here comes the wild card! What if Jawbreaker turns into a DINOSAUR?
Like he could be similar to Triceradon / Guiledart.
Tumblr media
In this context "Jawbreaker" could refer to how defensive triceratops are, with their shield-like frill that enemies break their jaws on.
OR, what is more defensive than an anklyosaurus?
Tumblr media
Also, we saw Grimlock very prominently in the G1 style flashback; seemingly he was not built on Earth in this continuity, perhaps he's a normal bot who scanned a museum model or something. If Jawbreaker was a dino that could be a setup to bring Grimlock in as a guest character.
An armadillo would also be possible. The show tries to minimize mass-shifting so it would be a very large armadillo, but we've seen four foot long cassettes so anything is possible.
What do you think his alt mode will be? Post your best guesses! :)

Greetings everyone! Welcome to the first Resurrection Sunday of 2020!
If this is your first Resurrection Sunday with us, I'll explain it for you. On the last sunday of each month, I comb back through the prompt archives and grab old prompts to repost with the hope of new fills for them. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of inspiring material we have, so rather than making you dig, I do the hard work!
So, we'll start off today with IDW (2005-2018)!

Note
Dear Vector Prime, what relationship if any do the Dinobots and Destructicons have to the Autobots and Predacons in Viron realities?
Dear Dinobot Destructor,
The Dinobots—consisting of Grimlock, Snarl, Slapper, Sludge, Terranotron, and Triceradon—are former Predacons who changed sides during the Cybertronian Civil War. Though they were prideful and loath to work with "lowly Autobots", they did not approve of the Predacon Council's goals or commanders like Megatron, who sought to plunder entire worlds of their resources. It may surprise you to note that the ones called Grimlock and Slapper have no relation to the individuals who also used those monikers; it's simply an example of multiple people having the same name.
The Destructicons are more varied throughout the multiverse. Sometimes they consist of Mega Zarak and his vanguard; other times, they are foes of the Elite Guard. As for their relation to the Autobots and Predacons, some of their number include Autobot turncoats, while others are Predacons who underwent a vehicular upgrade to become Decepticons and chose later to rally under the Destructicon sub-group banner as a unit.

February 23, 2020
Hello everyone!
I want to start off by apologizing for missing last week's prompts. Despite the number of reminders I have set, I totally forgot about them until it was far too late to post. I'm sorry.
Today is Resurrection Sunday! If you've been here a while, you're familiar but if you're new, this is the week where we go find some old prompts and drag them back out for fresh perusal.
I'll lead off with Transformers Prime and the Aligned Continuity.
June Darby / Wheeljack - penalty
Optimus Prime / Solus Prime - Wouldn't harm a fly
Knock Out/Dreadwing - style vs. substance
Arcee/Ratchet - delicacy
Chief Burns & Doc Green- reminiscing

Prowl/any Dinobot--unconditional love
Lockdown / Ultra Magnus - double
Megatron / Rodimus Prime - Short end of the stick
Slipstream / Arcee - existing
Third, Beast Wars/Beast Machines!
Tarantulas / Rattrap - instruction
Megatron / Cheetor - interaction

Terorsaur / Scorponok - things left behind
Dinobot II / Airazor - strange
Fourth on the list, Robots in Disguise (2001)!
Scavenger/Megabolt - staff
Jhiaxus/Loco - month
Ruination/Triceradon - apple
Sky-Byte/Prowl - unfair
Rollbar/Daytonus - bath
And we'll finish up with Cyberverse! (Congratulations on making it to season 3, Cyberverse! Hopefully you'll be free of the 4th Season Curse!)
Shadow Striker / Nova Storm - numerous
Prima / Starscream - electronic
Chromia / Optimus Prime - replacement
Rack'n'Ruin / Alpha Trion - regret

And before we close out, I just want to repeat the Eternal Plea. We always, always need user made prompts! The newer series (Cyberverse, IDW 2018, etc) are in the greatest need, but we always need prompts for all continuities. Please, send pairings+prompts to the mod email [email protected] or DM mod eerian. Thank you!

February 3, 2019
Greetings everyone! Happy February!
Did anyone else feel like January was simultaneously the Longest Month Ever and also the Fastest Month Ever? Just me? Regardless, it was wild.
This week, i’m going to do something a little different (again! XD) with the prompts. Rather than five sets of prompts for the BIG, more popular continuities, I’m going to do five sets for the small fandoms. Hopefully by doing that, we can get a few fills for the small continuities inside the fandom and put out some more content for others to enjoy! (Please remember, all types of content creation are allowed as prompt fills! TF Rare Pairing is not just for fic, but also art, comics, photo comics, FMVs, graphics & icons, or even interpretive cupcakes. We want it ALL!!!)
To start out Small Fandoms Week, we’ll go with Robots in Disguise (2001). This is a series I honestly can’t say I’ve seen any fanwork for in at least five years, so any fills this week will be a huge delight!
Wedge/T-AI - stick
Drydock/Daytonus - various
Dreadwind/Loco - Go Out On a Limb
Any Predacon/Long Haul - lodge
Triceradon/Sky-Byte - Burst Your Bubble
