the baby wolfwood's feeding is willow, vash is handing off his (decaffeinated) tea in clay mugs the kids made :] wolfwood is on an oxygen concentrator bc of scarring to his lungs and heart

GIMME A CHARACTER and I’ll break their ass down : Dave the Octopus/Dr. Octavius Brine

How I feel about this character: Definitely one of my favorite animated villains. He’s a lot more complex than I think most of the fandom gives him credit for. He’s tragic, with psychological issues, including fear of abandonment and identity. … plus I adore octopuses AND John Malkovich (sexy, talented man!!)

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Octavia (OC of TRikiD on ff.net), Chantel DuBois (I CAN EXPLAIN; This DOES include my human AU) and Dr. Blowhole (Bitter exes)

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Skipper and Dave (enemies to friends with newfound respect), Classified and the North Wind team (This is strictly in my Human AU; Dave was a member of the North Wind and went rogue. Before that he often worked with Classified’s team. Classified took the betrayal harder than he will ever admit.)

My unpopular opinion about this character: He deserves more love and props, people.

seeing that the guy who abruptly and cruelly left you years ago because he refused to let go of his past who you thought was most likely dead is not only alive but has apparently also been busy enough in the years you haven't seen him (and been raising his kids in his absence) that he's earned himself a multi million double dollar bounty must be pretty rough

i finally finished all these drawings of my vashwood fanbaby minnie and family for my post-canon AU! they're so old now the way i draw all these characters has changed a lot. especially LR, wow. better late than never i guess.

as adults sage works as an apprentice plant technician and jasmine is a ranch hand on a toma farm, also studying veterinary medicine!

i've been thinking about LR adding a bunch of things to their hat over the years. little pins and trinkets and necklace chains and plant feathers from the kids' first moults, kept just like baby teeth mementos. brooches that they were given as presents from the kids they wear on their hat at all times. their cloak ends with many frayed edges, full of stitches from livio's mending and different coloured patches that the kids gave them to add. their hat is droopy and sun bleached but that's how you can tell it was loved
