Been reading the cult of the lamb fic The Rehabilitation of Death by @bamsara ; is v good, love their work, this one has been a big comfort for me in recent times and its nice to return to their art and storytelling. Its also been the first time ive used a kindle lmao, ported it onto there

I love this fanfic and I couldn't help but make an animatic, this won't be the only one I make. (according to my plans) It occurs to me to make some scenes from the fic if I have time.

I hope with many i'm really looking forward to the next chapter. This is just the sketch, I will clean it up and upload the final result.

My main language is not English so I use a translator, sorry for the errors.

The Rehabilitation of Death

Chapter 4: My Friend, The Reaper

“You have a bleeding wound on your leg and a forming limp.” He says matter-of-fact. “To my memory, the other card would have solved that.”

“What? I can do fine with a little scratch.” They walk ahead of him as if just to make a point, marching like a soldier. All it does is have him make note of how their weight shifts unnaturally to favor one side more. Lambert makes no complaint of it. “Besides, it’s not gonna last long anyway. It’ll be healed up pretty soon.”

Lambert continues walking until they notice that the God of Death is no longer in their shadow. They turn; Narinder has stopped, eyes narrowed, hand clenched around an invisible curse. The lamb is about to ask what his deal is when the gears click back into place. “Oh yeah, I forgot.”

“Don’t let me stop you.” The cat says, picking up pace. He shifts past them. “By all means, I won’t protest if you drop dead in front of me. It would save me the effort.

Narinder accompanies the Lamb in the mission to free (kill) Leshy from purgatory, and thus starts the beginning of several counts of crusades to come, along with several instances of bothering him at his door. Routine threats, violence and annoyance, until the God of Death saves a life.

Finally got around to playing COTL n reading @bamsara TROD fanfic n something about chapter seven just made me wanna draw like crazy- specifically the scene by the fire before they go to sleep. Idr it now but ik while I was reading it it made me giggle. I think cuz in my head I saw it as the lamb just hard looking at them the whole time lol

I have to go back n reread it. I devoured both the fanfic n the game in the same week so now things are blurring together

Making Ocs are fun, and thus i made background ocs for a fanfic you just read :)

Nalison (They/Them): A Pig follower who was rescued from Anura after their whole family was sacrificed. They're one of the carpenters in the Lamb's cult and is often tasked to retrieve materials from the lumberjack and the miners for building construction. Likes to help around in the farm areas when not working as it gives them an excuse to dig around the dirt without being lectured, as it reminds them of when they used to forage in Anura

Thornoson (They/Them) : A Red Panda Follower who when they were younger was extremely bullheaded and emotional, making them dissent severely due to both doubt and anger, as they aged, they became calmer and significantly more gentler, while still keeping most of their aggressive attitude. They had become one of the Lamb's most Loyal and Faithful followers, something they knew probably wouldn't have happened if it were not for the Lamb's patience. Due to their past, they ignore dissenters when they rant though intervenes if those dissenters do any physical harm
