This weeks challenge was handstands and I was like, omg a handstand in the TRX! Now, I used to struggle with these like crazy. I was too afraid to commit. Amie said, "now your just showing off" 😭 but I was truly proud of myself because I don't know when the last time I did this! LOL 💕 Some of the benefits from doing handstands include: ❤️Strengthen your upperbody & core 💙help improve your balance ❤️can put you in a better mood 💙might even bring out your inner child. 💪Now I challenge you to get out of your comfort zone & on your hands. Keep tension on the straps. Engage the core. Continue to press firmly through the hands. RETURN: Release the free leg back down to the ground and slowly begin to walk the hands and the free leg back towards the anchor. Wasn't going to share this as it may seem irrisponsible but im here ro share my progress in what I'm working on (don't try this at home!👊) and nailing a handstand in my TRX has been something I've been working so hard on. 😓 (Sorry mammy @sportandtravel I promise I was 100% safe😆) . I kicked off a chair as I wanted to be in full control while I get used to it and didn't want any sudden movements. 😱 . I actually chopped this video to make it fit, I looked very jerky when it was sped up so I kept it real time and cut it. I hung out there for about 40 secs, not really knowing what to do next 😂 . Now onto my next mission😉 . #trx #handstand #trxhandstand
