I am hosting a sims love island.

[i am obsessed with the show & started playing the mobile game and wanted to create my own version based off of both!]

I am looking for sims!

here are the rules for entering your sim!:

minimal cc is preferred | maxis mix

your sim will need a daytime outfit, swimwear, bedtime and recoupling outfit. the rest i will change them in for challenges etc. no more than these four outfits please and they can all stay under the everyday wear to make things easier!

you must be okay with me editing your sim to fit my game's aesthetic. although, i will never change a sims weight, skin color etc. i may tweak a few skin details to add what i add on all of my sims so they all look like they belong in the same universe. that is all though!

when entering i need a brief description of your sim! a few fun facts about them, their turn ons/turn offs and their typical type that they go for. some other facts needed will be: age, occupation, traits and a 'observation' about your sim (as shown above about the host!)

no occult sims / mermaids

you must be okay with how your sim is portrayed and okay with other users voting on your sims status in the villa. obviously however you describe your sim will stick with them, but not every sim can be everyone's favorites and keep in mind there is always a 'villain' to spice things up. it is nothing personal <3

Introducing Jacqueline “Jackie” Jett, the semi-famous Weather Reporter on the Del Sol Valley Network, Channel 7. With hair about as big as her ego, Jackie is known for being loud, proud, and... another word that ends in -oud. Give us a bit to think of one, and we’ll get back to you. 

Jackie grew up in the suburbs of Del Sol Valley, with her parents and two older brothers. She excelled in school, graduating Valedictorian of her class and getting accepted into Foxbury Institute’s Specialized Biology program. It’s safe to say that years of success definitely boosted her opinion of herself, which was struck down a few notches when the job market tightened up as soon as she graduated. Jobs in her field were hard to come by, and Jackie was feeling down on her luck. One day while shopping with her bffs, she was approached by a man who she assumed to be a model scout. It turned out to be Victor Price, one of the producers at DSVN, who offered her a spot as their new weather reporter. With the show’s viewer count draining as online news becomes the new craze, Jackie’s appearance is possibly the only thing holding the studio together at this point, and she knows it.

While Jackie does have some brains on her, her most admirable trait are her wits. She’s real cunning, and knows how to play the game to come out on top. Unlike some of the other applicants, long-term romance isn’t really Jackie’s thing. She’s much more inclined to one night stands and hookups, and anyone who lasts longer gets their number deleted from her phone. Jackie claims to love this lifestyle, much to her cuffed friend’s dismay. While they think she’s crazy for not wanting to get boo’d up, she thinks the idea of being tied down is absolutely sickening. So why would she apply for a show like Love Island, where the only goal is to find true (or true in terms of reality television) love? (Reason number 1 will shock you!)

Briefly describe yourself and your life.

“If you insist, LOL! Alright, my name’s Jackie Jett and I’m 26 years old. If I look familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen me on DSVN, during the 8am time slot, 9 on weekends. Shameless plug, I’m the hottest weather girl in the hottest city in the west! Sure, the job’s a bore at times and I really only got hired for my looks and not my now-useless biology degree, but it pays well and I get a lot of time off to do the things I actually enjoy! I’m not actually as dumb as I come off to our viewers. I’m college educated! Although, it doesn’t really matter much at the moment, so I figured why not have fun where I am now? Also yes, I’m a natural redhead. Anyone that tells you different is a disgusting liar.”

Any Hobbies?

“My hobbies pretty much only consist of me going out and getting drunk. But it’s not that bad! I’ve always been a party girl, since high school even. There’s nothing more fun than going to a nightclub and letting your inhibitions run wild for a few hours! And if I can witness some celeb drama happen live before I hear about it at the studio the next morning, that's always a plus.”

How long have you been single?

“Well, that depends on what you define a relationship as, doesn't it? If you’re talking about any kind of romance, than I’m technically never single. I’m just never with the same person! If you define it as a romantic, long term relationship, then not since freshman year of college. And I’d like to keep it that way, thank you very much. I love to have my options open.”

Why did your last relationship end?

“Again, if we’re talking longer term, he wanted to get more serious and I realized that it just wasn’t what I was looking for. I was 19 and I still wanted to experience so much before getting cuffed. He really didn't take it well, so kinda safe to say I dodged a bullet on that one.”

What are you looking for in a relationship?

“If I had to be in one? I would want the other person to know and respect that I’m not going to be tied down for the rest of time. The whole “open relationship” thing is a standard I like to set with my long term hookups, and I would like that to apply here as well. Also, they should be hot. I’ve been with every type of guy you can think of, but I’ve got standards. I like em sexy, who can blame me? I promise, if I get on the show I’ll try to restrain myself. Keyword try. Also generally don't be a dick. Just because I’ve been with a lot of men doesn't mean I’m less deserving of respect. Any guy that thinks differently goes out the door, sorry not sorry. Oh, did you know that I have Demi Lovato’s phone number? We’re, like, basically besties.”

What are you not looking for in a relationship?

“By this point in the interview I think it’s pretty obvious the one thing I’m super not looking for, LOL! But other than that, I’m open to a lot! Just depends on who’s asking.” *winks* “I’m really not territorial, but if any of the women try to shame me for my lifestyle, I’m not afraid to get my claws out. Women are supposed to support women, I’m not tolerating any bullshit.”

Something else we should know about you?

“Okay, I guess this is where I come clean. Well, to the producers at least. So, basically, for the last few months, our shows ratings and viewership have been dropping. Our analytics team looked into it, and we’re pretty sure it’s because of that Simstagram News update. Instead of watching the actual news, people are going there because it’s quicker and easier to get info. So one day, Victor comes up to me and is all like “I’ve got an idea and I need your help”, which is already fishy because that’s basically code for “I need to use your looks to get the show traction”. So I go into his office and he brings up the Love Island Application. And, like, at first I’m hesitant because I work in showbiz, right? I know how reality tv stars get perceived by the public. But then I realized that if the studio tanks, I’ll no longer have a job, which like, major bummer. So I say yes!

In the end, I’m here to stir up drama and look cute on camera, all as bait for people to come and watch live news. Of course, I get the added benefit of a longer segment on the show, and a boost in Simstagram followers! So it’s really a win-win! Honestly, I probably would have applied anyway, if I had seen the casting call before Victor showed it to me. A bunch of hot guys, hookups, and more drama than a Kardashian-Jenner Simstagram comment section? That’s basically my dream life! And hey, who knows? Maybe I’ll finally get a tan!”

Please, make more That 70′s Show references when you meet her. She’s never heard them before. You’re so original, oh my gosh.

She’s allergic to shrimp. Makes for a downer at fancy parties.

She doesn’t tan, just burns. Curse her Irish heritage.

She played volleyball in college. She was pretty good at it, but almost broke her nose, which cause her to quit out of fear of getting a nose job.

She’s definitely a B list celebrity. No, don’t look it up. The internet is full of misinformation. You can’t trust anything.

Bio: Tali is an only child, and as such grew up with only her parents for company.  They cared about her a lot, so much so that they sheltered her from the realities of the world.  She’s rather naive, and believes in true love. My very first sim entry. Yoh, I had to gather up what I could find but I think it came together. I hope you like her🌕🌕

Chanel was named after her mother's favourite brand Chanel, of course. Her mother worked as a seamstress for a designer brand so Chanel grew up surrounded by fabrics, materials, and well beautiful clothing. Her mother was so convinced that she would also work in fashion one day. But honestly, Chanel never saw it as her passion. Though she loved watching the ladies - and men - work on bringing the designs to life, she wanted to find her own thing that spoke to her character. So, while studying in university, she took extra activities, from debating to building robots, all of dem. But she never felt passionate for any of it. It was until on one day when her and her friends went to groove at the club that she finally found her "calling"...music. So, after graduating, she left San Myshuno for Del Sol Valley where she worked as an intern for a big records company, Soul Moves Records. She loved it. More so that she got promoted as assistant to one of the biggest music producers Dushuan Monet. On the side she works as a DJ at a few clubs. She loves what she does. Not only does she earn a good amount of simoleans, she’s also met amazing people who she regards as close friends.

She is very outgoing, always keeping the conversation flowing. She knows a lot of people in Del Sol Valley so if you’re looking for someone in the Valley, she’ll probably help you find that person. She is quite work orientated, so she’s either working at producing music or prepping for a DJ gig. As mentioned before, music is her first love. Her biggest goal is to become a director at the records company she works at, or maybe own her own company, who knows.

She is a party animal. She knows how to have a good time. So if you need someone to hang with, she's your gal. You can find her on the dance floor breaking a move. So never challenge her to dance coz she’ll break your neck. If she’s not DJing, she right at the dance floor showing off all the new dance moves and more! (This is a secret, but she was part of a dance club called the Dance Masters when she was still in university.)

She is sort of a hopeless romantic. Her previous relationship ended two years ago. She was in a relationship with this guy who she started dating in High School. They were each other’s prom dates, lol. The relationship didn’t last since they both studied at different universities. Also, they both agreed they were heading into different paths that no longer made them compatible. Ever since then she's been out and about in the dating scene but hasn't made much progress. Although...she did fall in love with someone else while in university but she doesn't like to get into it. Even though she's very out there, she likes to keep certain things to herself a.k.a she's not very comfortable speaking about her love life.

At home, she's the baby of the family despite being a twin. She was very close to her twin brother. They talked almost everyday. But when he had to relocate to a place called Strangerville for his military career, things changed between them. They spoke less and less. She doesn't like to get into but let's just say whatever is happening there changed him...made him...slightly...delusional. She thought about traveling there to visit him but people, even her brother, warned her against it. But otherwise the only family that she has left is her dad. Her mother died when she was 14. She died from food poisoning after eating Neguri fish at a restaurant. The family sued the restaurant but lost since the restaurant had a policy: "eat at you own risk" which removed them from all responsibility. Losing her mother wasn't easy but with that brought her close bonds with her mother's friends, family and most important her dad. Her dad basically raised her and taught her many lessons one of which is to never fail at believing in yourself. And always. ALWAYS! Be a bad b! Coz no one else gon' do it for you.

But otherwise her mothers family and dads family all took care of her and her brother. A big ol' happy family, they say. And she loved it and cherishes it the most.

Though she's got a hard exterior, she very sentimental and values every relationship she forms with other sims. So if you get become her friend best be believe she will fight for you! #rideordie #meandmyhomegirl

Anyways, when she heard about love island she was hesitant to join. Mostly because she hates being vulnerable. Because of her failed relationships she's hoping love island will force her to confront her love life. She's also hoping to find love on the island plus needs a break and fun and money. Emilee is the definition of don’t judge a book by it’s cover. She’s was always been taller than her peers as she grew up, and as she’s gotten into physical fitness and sports, she gotten pretty beefy. Between her muscles and fairly steely appearance, people often get the wrong idea about her. Emilee is socially awkward, and can come off as airheaded, but is a very cheerful, upbeat, and compassionate person. She’s very shy and odd at first, but once you get to know her she’s funny, surprisingly insightful, affectionate, and yes, she does indeed give great hugs.

Emilee’s mom took off when she was eight, and her dad is her best friend in the entire world Growing up she was her dad’s mini me. She helped him out with her two younger siblings, and she got her passion for building and engineering from him. She and her two siblings are also very close, and it was them and a few of her close friends who persuaded her to audition. She’s had a few relationships, but they’ve never gone very far, as people either are intimidated by her physique, or take advantage of how willing she is to be there for others. She’s hoping to find her soulmate, but optimistic that even if she doesn’t, she can hopefully make a ton of new friends.

Fun Facts:

- In elementary school her class took a field trip to a farm and she instantly fell in  love with the pigs. When she found out they were headed to a slaughter house she cried profusely for days, and then decided to be a vegetarian.

- Got into a fight one time after a kid continually bullied her friend for being Trans in highschool. She effectively yeeted the kid across the hallway.

Howdy Y’all, I'm Lanie. I am a 26-year-old paralegal from WillowCreek. I guess I would describe my self bisexual, biracial, outgoing, and confident goofball. I have never met a stranger and always try to be the life of the party, even if it gets me in a tad bit of trouble. 

I grew up in a military family. I’ve moved around a lot and my family is my whole world. I have the best parents, my dad, David is a retired Colonel and my mom, Bess is a middle school teacher. They live in Strangerville. My two sisters, Maddie, and Averie are my best friends. Growing up we did everything together, and we still try to.  My older sister Maddie and I work together at my Uncle’s law firm. Averie, my little sister, is going to Med-school.

I love to not take life too seriously, however, this doesn't apply to my dating life. Sure I have had my fair share of flings, but I have always wanted the kind of relationship my parents have. Sure they have their fair share of arguments, (who doesn't) but they always work it out. They're in it for the long run. 

My last relationship last two and a half years, we were engaged. It ended when I came home to him and some sluty blonde in our bed. Turns out he had been cheating on me with her for over four months. I wish him and his new girlfriend the best though. Anyways Its been a little over a year and what better way to get back on my feet than this.

Underneath the cool exterior lies a romantic woman who one day wants to be the best parent she can be. With a couple of absent parents herself and no siblings, Ellen has had to get creative by choosing her own family from her tight knit group of friends. They mean everything to her, which is good since four of them share an apartment in the spice district to make ends meet!
