Haha. I remember following you and almost every other member of the squad back in Mar/Apr due to how crazily hard it was to find a Jumin fan in this fandom. It was even wildering for me to find a Vietnamese Jumin fan since most of the Vietnamese MM fans I know of would more likely fawn over Seven lmaooooo

It’s amusing to recall how we have become the way we are now that you think about it. Thank You for a Fantastic Event Week!

We've brought JuminxMC Week to a close now, but we want to thank everyone so much for their participation!

We have received a fantastic array of fan art and stories all celebrating Jumin and MC and couldn't express how grateful we are for your participation, reblogs, and general love.

Although the offical week is wrapped up, we are still accepting late submissions and will be checking the tag and reblogging.

Hiding bills from Jumin Han was an impossible task. He always managed to get his hands on them first, and while he respected my privacy and didn’t open my mail, he surely couldn’t miss what the envelope read:

MC. SKY University. Statement Enclosed.

Like Yoosung, I had managed to get into SKY University through a scholarship. But unlike Yoosung, I hadn’t taken school seriously, so my scholarship was limited. I was only covered for the first two years, and those two years were over a long time ago. My parents helped cover what they could, but for the most part, I relied heavily on work and loans, loans that I knew I would never be able to pay back.

I was just another poor idiot determined to pursue a better life.

Jumin, of course, knew about my financial situation. That’s what impelled him to convince me to live in one of the empty rooms in his penthouse. Well, that and our evolving relationship. He allowed me to use his desk whenever I needed it, and I took advantage of that privilege; I oftentimes pretended that I had homework when I didn’t just so I could see him.

But, on this particular day, that wasn’t the case. One of his bodyguards opened the door for me and I made my way over to his desk with an armful of books.

“Hello, MC.”

“Baa!” I jumped slightly and looked over to see him, papers in his hand and an amused look on his face.

“Ah...h-hi, Jumin. How was your day?”

“Same as yesterday. How was your day?”

“Haha, same as yesterday.” I plopped my books down on his desk and just as I sat down, Jumin came over and placed a hot cup of tea on a coaster beside me. I smiled up at him and he blushed subtly.

“Do your best with your studies. Afterwards, I want to propose something to you.”

“Propose something? Like what?”

“I’ll tell you once you finish studying.”

“Jumin, you can’t just tease me with something and expect me to let it go, come on! Tell me!”

“Well, think of it as a reward.” He leaned over and placed a chaste kiss on the tip of my nose, something he always did when he teased me. I playfully batted him away and quickly opened my notebook and textbook.

Maybe if I studied quickly—

“By the way, I know how long you usually study for. So don’t try to cheat and shorten your time.” Smugly, Jumin placed his papers in front of him and resumed his work…while I fumed at his desk.

So much for that plan.

“Done, now tell me.” I slammed my notebook and textbook shut after an hour and a half of studying. Jumin looked up at me, checked his watch, nodded once, and stood up. I eagerly jumped up and moved towards him, but the second I noticed him adjusting his cuff sleeves, I knew this was serious business.

He had probably been thinking about this for weeks.

“I received your billing statement from the tuition office at SKY University.”

My excitement dropped instantly. Damn it. He handed me the envelope and I tore it open recklessly. The first thing my eyes landed on was how much I owed.

“How much is it, love?”

“...Seven thousand.” I flinched and closed my eyes, desperate to keep my anguish hidden from him. I clenched my fists, flashed him a smile, and grabbed his hands. “Don’t worry, I’ll just pick up extra shifts at work.”

“…MC—”

“I’m probably going to have to look for another job too, if I want to go to school next term.”

“MC—”

“It’ll be okay, I can make this work! If I get too desperate, I can just ask my parents for help—”

“MC.”

“Yeah?”

“Let me take care of it. Not just tuition, but also books, and any other extra equipment you need until you finish college.”

“No.” I squeezed his hands affectionately and tried to move away from him, but his grip was unfaltering. Gently, he hooked my chin with his finger, forcing me to look up at him. My heart beat wildly in my chest as I looked at him, his gaze determined.

He wasn’t going to let me win this one. And I wasn’t going to give up so easily.

“MC.”

I exhaled slowly. “Jumin, don’t. You’re already doing me these huge favors, you, you’re allowing me to live here, you’re paying for me to eat like a queen, you’re even sacrificing your driver so that he can take me to school. That’s more than enough.”

“Listen to me. Please.” He moved his thumb to my cheek, stroking it delicately while still maintaining eye contact with me. “Every school term, you do this. You overwork yourself, then you come here, shoulders hunched, feet dragging, and bags under your eyes.”

“…Ha, I tried to hide those from you…guess I need to watch more makeup tutorials…”

He pulled me closer. “Quiet your pride and let me do this for you.”

“…Jumin, I really can’t.”

“Why not?”

“…Because I’ll feel like…like I’ll owe you something. For the rest of my life. This isn’t a small favor, this is a big thing you want to do for me, and I just…I can’t.”

Silence. I moved my eyes down, too ashamed to look at him. Then…his lips tenderly met with mine. I let out a small squeak, but this only made him press his lips further against my own.

He was trying to break me. He…this had to be some sort of tactic. But damn, there was no harm in enjoying it while it lasted.

After a while, he pulled away from me, a glint in his eyes. “You’re ridiculous if you think you owe me something for the rest of your life. Doing you this favor would be a great honor for me.”

I blushed furiously and hid my face in his chest. “I still won’t let you do it. The only way I’d let you do it is if we were married, but even then, it would take a ton of persuasion on your end.”

He hummed softly into my ear, which created trails of goosebumps all down my arms and back. He moved his lips to my ear and whispered, “Marry me, then.”

My eyes shot open and I pushed myself away from him slightly, just to look him in the eye. “W…W-W-What?”

“In time…I’m sure I can persuade you. My love.”

As his words sank in, I found myself turning into putty in his hands. He held onto me as I shined him the biggest, widest smile I had ever made. “Best of luck to you then…future husband.”

He chuckled softly and rested his arms around my waist. “I assure you, future wife. I don’t need luck.”

x - any x-rays you have?: I’ve had x-rays on my hands previous to my carpal tunnel diagnosis, and on my mouth at the dentist. I think that’s about it? And I’ve had too many ultrasounds to count and a few CT scans as well.
