𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄 — jann mardenborough ☆
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: jann mardenborough x fem!reader
warnings: smut, car sex, riding, cussing
synopsis: your date night didn’t go as planned.
a/n: im horny and i watched gran turismo last week
Tumblr media
you take one last look at yourself in your mirror. you were wearing a tight fitted red dress, with a oversized leather jacket. it was a bit cold outside, but you still wanted to look presentable for your boyfriend. after all, it was a date night. you smooth out the thin fabric of your dress. you spray on some perfume, zipping up your boots before walking back downstairs. you hear the loud rev of a car outside, then your phone rings in your hand.
“come outside, love.”
you smile at the text and quickly make your way to the front door, locking it behind you. you turn around and make eye contact with jann. he’s leaning against the car door, a rose in his hand. he gives you a warm smile before meeting you half way in the driveway. “hey,” you mutter out. “hi,” he replies back, chuckling. even though you were wearing heels, he still towered over you. you almost forgot how handsome he was up close. you catch the smell of his cologne, his shampoo, and the faint scent of laundry detergent. “this is for you.” he reaches his hand out to you, placing the rose into your palms. you carefully bring it up to your nose, taking in the scent of it. “what’s the occasion?” you say jokingly. he rolls his eyes, kissing your cheek. “nothing, just something nice for my girl.” he says before opening the car door for you. you thank him, sliding into the dark sleek interior car. he closes the door, walking over to the drivers seat.
you watch as he adjusts himself into his seat, leaning back into the cushions. “where are we going?” you ask. he glances over at you, “it’s a surprise.” you groan in annoyance. he smiles at your reaction. he slowly backed out of the front of your house, quickly accelerating on the road. you clutch onto your bag, irritated that he always sped. it wasn’t like it was intentional, he was just use to the speed on the tracks. “jann,” you shout out, he slows down a bit, realizing what you were stressed about. “you have to stop doing that.” you sigh. he laughs, “you’re scared of a little speeding?” he teases, “no, jann, i’m scared of crashing.” he places his hand on your thigh, smoothing out your stockings. this was his way of calming you down, and it worked. you unfold your arms, intertwining your fingers into his large hand. he rubs his thumb on the inner of your thigh.
“you still not gonna tell me where we’re going?” you ask again. you hear the low hum of his voice, “you know that movie you’ve been dying to see recently?” you turn over with wide eyes. “no way, you got us tickets?” he nods. he pulls into the parking lot of the cinema, quickly walking out to get your side of the door. you thank him, holding onto his arm as you walk to the booth. you wait over by the side, fidgeting with the hem of your dress. you hear jann and the usher go back and forth about something. you turn around and see jann rolling his head back, shoving his phone into his back pocket and walking over to you.
he drags his hand over his face, almost in embarrassment. “what happened?” you ask. “i got the tickets for the wrong day.” he replied. “shit, i’m stupid.” you try laughing it off, grabbing his arm. “it’s fine, we can go back on the actual day.” his brows knitted together, frowning slightly. he walks you back to the car, opening it once again for you before getting in. “sorry, baby.” he says. you pat his arm, “we can do something better tonight.” you say. he leans into his seat, looking at you. “like what?” you shrug, “maybe we can just go out to eat instead.” you suggest, he nods, starting his porsche back up. you turn on the radio, hoping to help brighten up the mood.
you didn’t know what it was, but tonight he seemed even more charming than usual. you glance over at his hand on the steering wheel, while the other was resting on his thigh. he stops at a red light, tapping the edge of the wheel with his fingers. you lean over to him, running your fingers through the back of his hair. he sighs into your touch, you continue touching over his neck, looking at him through your dark lashes. he turns his head to you, his lips parted slightly. he looks at you, his eyes trailing from your face down to your crossed legs. before you knew it, he was speeding into an empty parking lot, reclining his seat back.
you pull off your boots, crawling over to him. he lays down in his seat, unzipping his jeans. he eagerly takes off his jacket, tossing it in the backseat before grabbing you by your waist and settling you in his lap. the space in the drivers seat was small for the both of you, but you made it work. he slides your leather jacket off your arms, feeling your soft skin. you pull down his boxers, his hard erection rubbing again your thigh. he watches you as you desperately try to pull off your tights. he licks his lips, grabbing you closer and ripping a hole into the crotch of your tights. you gasp slightly, placing your hands onto his chest. jann pulls up your dress, his large hand covering your whole torso. you whine quietly as you hear him undoing your bra. he his large hand travels to your back, then up over your breasts. you moan as his cold hands play with the bud of your nipples. you feel his cold breath on your neck, goosebumps lining your skin.
“jann,” you whimper. your hand travels down to his dick, using it to trace the entrance of your pussy. he groans, whispering your name. you place his tip inside of you, feeling his hands fall back onto your hips. he was big. definitely bigger than average, and you still weren’t use to it. you tremble as you sink onto his cock, “mm, you feel all of that, baby?” he teases. he’s staring at you deeply. he knows you feel his eyes on you, yet you won’t keep your head up. you’re afraid if you make eye contact with him, you’ll break. “look at me.” he instructs above you. you keep your head down as you softly ride him. a hand falters away from your hips, making its way up to your face. he tilts your face up, forcing you to make eye contact with him. “jann…” you mutter shyly. “i can’t-”
“you can’t what?” he asks, thrusting his hips up against you. you feel his cock between your legs, pounding your insides. you struggle to make out the words as his he thumbs at your clit. you clench onto his shirt, balling up your fists. he chuckles slightly, “get closer, princess.” you lean into his chest, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. jann’s hand travels to your ass, helping you ride you up and down, “fuck,” he curses, “you feel so good, baby.” your eyes start tearing up, all your thoughts slushing together. his large hands palm at the flesh of your ass, you feel his dick slipping in and out of you repeatedly. the mixture of your whining and his groaning filled the car.
the thick head of his cock touches your cervix, his thrusts start getting sloppier, but his stamina is still going. you try to muffle your moans by placing your head into the crook of his neck, but his thick cock forces you to cry out louder. you hear him slightly laughing at you. you’re a whimpering mess in front of him, begging, crying as his hands explore every inch of your body. your thighs shake aggressively when his hands travel back down to your clit, teasing you. you grip harder onto his shirt as you feel yourself reaching your climax. you mewl out his name, your pussy coiling up from the sensation. you yell out as you feel him cum inside of you. you gasp — he lifts your hips up, letting his dick slip out of you. he groans as you fall limp into his arms.
for a moment, it’s silent. just heavy breathing and the slight squeak of the leather car seats. jann places a hand on your back, tracing your skin. “love?” he whispers into your ear. “mhm,” you manage to get out, “you okay?” you sigh, hugging him tighter. you nod in his chest, closing your eyes as he kisses your forehead.

moth kisser brain crisis
i seriously can't tell if i'm falling out of love with art or if i'm just sad?
it feels like. nothing is meaningful. because it isn't! and i've always known this, but i've also known creating something is more fun than creating nothing. that hasn't been the case for me lately, nothing has felt fun. my main artistic outlets feel impossible, and i feel left without the meaning i once had in my life.
don't expect much from me. maybe i'm just in a funk. maybe i'll draw only a few times a month. maybe i'll get more into music again. maybe i'll finally write something longer than 2 pages. or maybe i'll just play gran turismo 4 and disappear off the face of the internet.
change is hard, and i know life has its phases. this is likely transitional and the road to something new for me: a new art/music style, new hobbies, maybe.
i'm not saying i'm leaving, i'm not saying i'm never going to post ever again. i'm just whining. maybe nothing will change!
have a beautiful day

went to report a rammer on forza and i noticed they had a 'feedback and suggestions' option in their support tickets, so i decided "why not? i have thoughts about this game". two and half hours later my partner had to get my attention to remind me we needed lunch and it was already 4 p.m. my last therapist said i don't have ADD. long rant under the cut. I'm 100% correct, btw.
Generally, i think this is a really great game when everything is working right. It's just about the only one i'm playing these days. I came to it from Assetto Corsa and Gran Turismo, so I have some modest sim racing experience that informs my expectations. Anyway, here is a list of features i'd like to see some day, some comments, etc:
the option to auto-sell most cars that are won in wheel spins when racing online (currently the car goes straight to your garage). Perhaps a slider based on value or rarity. removing cars from my garage by hand is a very time consuming experience.
on that note, i feel some utility to easily manage downloaded tunes, paintjobs, and garage cars would be greatly appreciated. even if it's an external program that doesn't run in game. at current, tunes can only be deleted when you are in the car they apply to, and paints and cars have to be deleted one at a time, which is very time consuming with menu lag (my xbox takes a while to do this each time, and I have had a few marathon sessions where I'd spend half the day just deleting and organizing things in my garage). in the my paints menu, thumbnails take a very long time to load, and deleting one sends you back to the front. perhaps a toggle for whether it is currently on a car in my garage or not would help, too. and a way to see what tune i have on my car and who made it. it's necessary to delete tunes at times because of the limited number you can have. if you don't have the tune in your collection to compare against the car, it can be really easy to forget exactly what you have that car for. my workaround for this has been to devise a paint color system (red cars for power, blue for road and street, orange for dirt, green for offroad, black gray or white for purists, chrome for highway pulls. i think i might need another color specification for hotwheels cars and to differentiate between circuit and sprint cars) but this requires a high number of paints to be saved. my workaround for that is to just buy a fresh car and specify the solid color I want there. this seems to not use a paint save slot. maybe there can be an option to click on for each car in your garage so you can remember if a car is for rally or street racing etc…
and on that note, menus take a very very long time to load, and selections are never acknowledged right away. it's been two years and I still find myself pressing the button repeatedly in menus when i select things because i just can't tell if it really registered or not. sometimes when i enter an event, it can take up to twenty seconds for my thumbnails to load on the car select screen, and this can get a little nerve wracking when the timer's counting down. I still have an xbox one, and i think there is a chance this could be more of an xbox one problem than an fh5 problem.
constraints/settings for events for tire choice, drive train, engine swaps, maybe even a locked tune that can be purchased and installed at the event car selection screen for spec racing and club time trials. for instance, i LOVE RWD dirt racing, but RWD cars are not very competitive when AWD cars are in the mix.
the option to race expert, pro, and unbeatable drivatars if you want in the weekly playlist events. i like these events because they enforce some variety in car choices, and i just like getting to check things off a list, but the actual racing tends to be a snooze.
even unbeatable drivatars tend to do mystifylingly stupid things every race. mostly jerking the wheel hard on straightaways for no reason, or parking it on corner apexes needlessly, especially in sweeping turns where i would expect to be able to follow flat out. i realize that they can't actually be that good if you want to have a chance of catching them in only three laps, but single player often feels like i'm just trying to get past 9 or 10 mobile chicanes so i can actually race with the one or two real competitors up front.
i don't always have xbox live gold, and single player freeroam can be a real shitshow at times. mostly it's encountering drivatars just parked in the middle of the road (I guess they're mimicking real players that pause while driving? I do that sometimes), or that there seems to be a few places on the map that spawn loads of drivatars at once. like i'd almost without fail encounter an 8 to 10 car roadblock on the sweeping downhill south of guanajuato leading to the stadium/street scene for instance. i know horizon life and horizon solo can't be the exact same experience, but i came to find driving in freeroam in horizon solo at times infuriating.
head-to-heads ought to punish players for leaving the road. they always devolve into eliminator style as-the-crow-flies racing when they actually happen. that's just not racing, and it's why i guess you see people doing them so rarely. the real freeroam racing seems to mostly be at the drag strips and on the tarmac side of the mountain. (by the way, the tarmac side of the mountain is a masterpiece. chef's kiss. good work.)
backmarkers should be ghosted in online lobbies. I didn't know this was an issue, but I accidentally rear ended a guy pretty hard the other day who i was going to lap, because I expected to just ghost right through him. I don't think i've ever encountered trouble makers hanging around at one point on track to try and ram the leaders when they come through, so i can't comment as to whether this would help with that. wall riding should maybe be punished harder, too. i saw someone wallriding at HMC in the trial last week, and it was good enough to keep him in front of all the unbeatable drivatars. but that's also the only time i've ever seen someone wallride like that in this game, so it's perhaps not a big problem. i didn't even know it was something i could report people for until today.
can it be possible to turn off some particle effects when racing online? it's pretty common to get stuck behind people who can't or won't put the power down right in fast corners. this makes a smoke screen that's impossible to see through. i'm not sure exactly what amount of power and angle starts making big smoke; I don't notice my tires smoking if I'm using slip angle in a turn, though, and i don't recall seeing drivatars do this.
i use the braking line only setting, because there are just too many car and track choices to truly internalize. i've noticed the braking line tends to 'lie' on hotwheels races. it seems like i'm always braking too late in hard braking zones in hotwheels races, but this doesn't seem to be a problem in mexico or badlands. is it just me?
this is just a polish thing, but what if players that use the borrow car option get a random manufacturer color instead of every car being the default color. just to add some variety to the grid.
another polish thing: the Buick GNX has a bump map or UVs problem on its doors. my 3D modeling knowledge is a little lacking, but SOMETHING makes that car look like it has a big dent in its doors on the trailing edge.
i loved the stock car trials you guys were doing for a minute a year or two ago. i remember the one with the porsche desert flyer was really fun, especially when i realized i could set the car up (this car has a very short gearbox, but it's a race gearbox -- and anyone that didn't think to tune theirs was a sitting duck). on the other hand, i also learned i could get away with building those cars to have more power as long as the PI was still the same as the stock option, so maybe that should be fixed). on the other hand, i thought the mini and landrover offroad B class trial the other week was total dogwater. idk what it was.. maybe i just don't like those cars. the mini john cooper works buggy x-raid seems to be particularly underpowered no matter what i use it for. I would love to see more stock car trials in the future.
i wish we could have the oval in freeroam all the time.
i think you guys did nothing wrong with the blower bentley forzathon. it was early in the game for me and i had to grind to just buy the thing, but i didn't think it was that bad…
an option to fire A class boneshaker drivers into the sun. J/k! A class rods and customs tours tend to turn into boneshaker only, and that's kinda fun. boneshaker cup someday perhaps? consider it won't you? ;-)
((i think the meta is a little wonky in general. for instance, drag tires make for some of the best road racing builds in B class. rally tires are hands down some of the best road racing tires in A class and above. Rally tires are almost never used for rallying because offroads handle dirt better, allow some PI for more horsepower, and aren't that much of a hindrance on road (ex: I won every event in the trial yesterday (A class Lexus Road events) on offroads. I accidentally grabbed one of my rally cars instead of the road build I'd made, but that rally car was still good enough to win). muscle cars with whitewalls seem to be one of the choice build types for hotwheels hazard and offroad events. in fact hotwheels open seems to devolve to a small handful of power meta cars that are the only viable competitors, and that's why i guess it seemed so dead when i was still doing it. I guess my thinking is tire and drivetrain constraints could reel the meta game in a bit, and we'd see fewer people griping about "bring clean cars, no forza aero, tires etc" in looking for group posts and on reddit. after my first couple months playing this game, i had to go and do research about the build/tuning meta because i realized i just wasn't fielding competitive cars most of the time. maybe this is actually the correct way to play the game if you care about it. i've raced enough in sims that i knew racecraft wasn't my issue. and i think this might not ever occur to players that don't already have experience with racing games. i'm not sure it's really possible to learn in game what a 'good' car looks and drives like. the game won't teach you and the autoupgrade seems to be nearly useless in this regard. you have to go looking on reddit or youtube for good tuners to follow, and be willing to take notes.))
that's about everything i can think of off the top of my head right now. this seems like a lot, but i love this game and have thought about it a lot the last couple of years. and i know y'all have done quite a bit to fix things. game crashes are fewer now it seems. i'm genuinely surprised these days if i get it to crash, but it was a pretty common occurrence a year or so ago.
p.s. attaching a fan art i drew of the nissan tsuru just because i like you guys. have a good day :)
Tumblr media
oh, i just remembered. the existence of 'rivals lines' strikes me as a problem. this is where the checkpoint gates don't adequately constrain the track boundaries and players can cut, or go way off road to carry more speed into an otherwise slow corner. are these by design?
one more thing. and i can't believe i forgot it because this was at the forefront of my mind when i started writing. we really need some sort of car proximity marker or radar in first person views. like in Assetto Corsa or Gran Turismo. i find 3rd person racing kind of disorienting so i'm always in dash or bonnet view. i think most of the time when i make contact, it's turning into cars that are significantly alongside during corner entry. I just don't know that they're there until it's too late.

Run These Streets {5} || Street Racer!Bucky
Summary: With a new car and a new found freedom, Bucky is ready to take back his streets. Warnings: 18+ only, nsfw, fluff, smut (unprotected sex, fem rec oral) WC: 2.3k
Bucky Masterlist || Part One || Part Two || Part Three || Part Four || Part Five || Part Six
Tumblr media
“I’m gonna be in jeans all damn summer.” Bucky grumbled after the ankle monitor was unlocked and dropped in the probation officer's bag. “Look at this tan line.”
“I didn’t think you could even tan.” You giggled behind your hand as he massaged the free limb and scoffed. “Pretty sure I’ve only ever seen you burn.”
After signing a few documents Bucky walked his probation officer to his car on the street and grinned when his sneakers hit the pavement, something he hadn’t been able to do for months. You couldn’t help laughing as he punched the air triumphantly and stuck his tongue out. It was like a window to the past seeing him so excited, for a second Bucky was 17 again.
“Wanna take a road trip to Miami?” He asked suddenly. “Plenty of rich kids down there to sell the Cali to.”
You looked at the candy red Ferrari parked in the garage and pouted. “It was kind of growing on me.”
“You said that about the Supra too.” He smirked. “What happened to eww it’s an import!”
“First off, I don’t sound like that.” You said before pausing. “And…I don’t have a comeback to that.”
His fingers were already twirling the keys that he had pulled from his pocket as he waited for you to give him an answer.
“This is what you want to do with your newfound freedom? Drive for 20 hours.” You reconfirmed, his eager nod making him look so young and innocent that you immediately caved and agreed. “Fine, but you should invite Steve and Hannah along too. He’s been dying to see you wearing more than just boxers.”
He laughed as he pulled you into his arms, shaking his head at the reminder of the many days on home detention where he couldn’t be bothered getting dressed. “Bullshit, Steve’s always enjoyed perving up on this.”
“I can understand the appeal.” You said as you bit your lip and trailed your eyes over his body. “But I always did feel like a third wheel in your bromance.”
Tumblr media
“Fuck I’m sexy.” Bucky stated boldly as he walked into the room with a pair of bright red heart shaped sunglasses. “I am rocking this look.”
“I’d say you’re a solid 8.” Steve said seriously before going back to plugging in his PlayStation in your tv.
“Will you stop going through my closet?” You huffed as you tried to take the silly glasses back but Bucky’s lanky height towered over you. “I have things in there.”
“I know.” He smirked as he watched you try and fail to reach the cheap costume glasses, his eyes fixated on the lace of your bra peeking out of your top with each jump. “I wish our school had a uniform like the one you have.”
“Bucky…” You growled, forgetting the glasses as his words caught Steve’s attention and his head popped up from behind the tv. “That was a halloween costume and that is all I will say on the matter. I’m going to do my homework and pretend you don’t exist okay.”
“Goodluck with that, doll.” He winked, shoving the sunglasses atop his head and dropping onto the couch as Steve tossed him a controller. “What’d you get this week?”
“Gran Turismo.” Steve said as he sat on the floor in front of Bucky.
“Again?” Bucky chuckled. “Just give up already, you can’t beat me.”
Steve didn’t answer as he concentrated on picking the car and race track that might give him an advantage.
Every Friday night was the same, staying up until dawn playing video games, eating junk food and planning extravagant adventures that would likely never happen. The only thing that changed was whose house you were at. This week was your turn to host since Steve’s mom was sick and Bucky’s dad was on an Army training exercise.
After closing your books and packing them away for school on Monday, you fell across the couch, kicking your feet up on the armrest and laying your head on Bucky’s lap. His arms came down around you without missing a turn on the track and your heart beat rapidly as you watched how his fingers moved across the controller.
“Alright, I’m tired of spanking your ass Rogers. Tell me you brought another game.” Bucky teased as he won yet another race and dropped the controller so he could rest a hand on your waist.
“My turn.” Steve chuckled, holding the plastic cover up. “Call of Duty.”
Bucky grinned as he sat up a little straighter and your pillow shifted until he was in the prime position to play the new game. “You’re on.”
“What’s the point of this?” You asked as they ran around like headless chickens, shooting anyone they came across including each other. “You’re on the same team.”
“So?” Steve laughed. “He can’t get more points if he’s busy respawning. Fuck!”
Steve dropped the controller as his half of the screen turned red and replayed the killshot, Bucky’s abs bouncing against you as he tried not to laugh too hard.
“You were saying, punk?” Bucky teased, before patting your side to get you to sit up so he could pull you onto his lap. His arms wrapped around your waist and he placed your hands on his so you were holding the controller with him. “This is how you aim and this is the trigger.”
“I think I should stick to racing games.” You growled as you died once again. “Sorry, I’m ruining your stats.”
“Ugh, don’t apologise to him, just keep playing,” Steve begged. “I’m only one kill away from winning.”
Tumblr media
You could never understand how a man could pack so light or fast but Bucky was ready to go in minutes with the necessities; a bottle of whiskey, a change of clothes and some cash left over from the sale of the Supra. With your bag finally packed and sitting with Bucky’s in the trunk of the Ferari, you were heading to Steve’s house where he was waiting outside practically chomping at the bit to get in the car along with Hannah.
“Do you know how long I have been dreaming of this road trip?” He grinned as he climbed in the back. “This is how we should have spent the summer of senior year. It’s not like those college visits did us any good.”
You laced your hand with Bucky’s as he wove through the traffic to get on the interstate south. It was a beautiful day for a road trip, the sun was shining and a tepid breeze blew through the windows that were down. Steve had made it his mission to steal the auxiliary cord and plug his phone in to control the music despite knowing the lifelong rule that whoever rides shotgun is in charge but he had fallen asleep somewhere around Richmond, Virginia, Hannah soon following after laying her head on his shoulder.
Bucky looked more content than you had seen him in months and the carefree smile was something you had sorely missed. Everything about him looked perfect and you couldn’t help taking a photo to capture the moment as he rested his arm along the open window and slapped the steering wheel in time to the beat of a Lynyrd Skynyrd song.
Tossing your phone back in the centre console, you placed your hand on Bucky’s thigh and watched the terrain go by in a blur. Your thumb massaged the denim material mindlessly, slowly creeping closer up his leg without any conscious thought. It wasn’t until you reached the crease of his pocket that he cleared his throat and you looked across to see him smirking down at your hand and you froze.
“You should be concentrating on the road, Barnes.”
“You know, I am trying to focus…” He groaned. “But I can’t deny that it doesn’t feel good. Keep going, please.”
You looked over your shoulder and found Steve’s mouth open as he snored with Hannah in a similar state. Satisfied they were fast asleep, you teased your fingers over the fly of his jeans and watched him take a sharp intake of breath. The sound sent a bolt of lightning to your core and you crossed your legs to ease the friction that was suddenly as necessary as air to survive.
From the throaty chuckle he gave you knew he had noticed your reaction and reached over to run this thumb along your neck. “I love how your pulse races for me…”
“You better find a motel for the night.” You warned as you caught his hand and brought it down to the apex of your thighs. “I need you.”
The rev of the car woke Steve and he sat up, rubbing his eyes as he looked around and spotted the sign for Virginia Beach.
“Sunset on the beach…romantic.” He grinned, waking up Hannah as Bucky pulled into the first motel that had a vacancy sign. “This dump, not so much.”
“You’ve slept in worse places.” You teased as you grabbed your handbag and followed Bucky to the reception.
Bucky’s lips were on yours before the door to the room even closed, the bags getting dropped unceremoniously beside a second before he dragged you to the bed.
“You get off on teasing me don’t you doll.” Bucky moaned as he unwrapped you with all the vigour of a child at Christmas. “Getting my blood pumping.”
You sighed longingly as his lips left a trail of fire down your collarbone and over the soft flesh of your breasts. “What can I say, I love where it leads.”
Your squeal of surprise filled the room when Bucky suddenly fell back on the bed and pulled you with him but you quickly recovered as you straddled his hips. Bucky’s large hands guided your body down on his and your head fell back with a moan as he filled you.
“You feel so good baby.” He moaned as you rolled your hips and teased your nipples, pinching and rolling them to stiff peaks as he watched on hungrily. “Lemme taste ‘em.”
He pushed your hands aside so he could suck your nipple into his mouth, his tongue soft and warm like a velvet dream that left your core tightening around him. The need to climax spurred you to move faster, the cheap headboard and the spring mattress bumping and squeaking with every movement. You bit your lip as you tried to stay quiet, not wanting to add to the noise knowing who it was on the other side of the wall, but it was mission impossible and you cried out when Bucky thrust up into you.
Quiet moans echoed through the wall and you shook your head as if you could shake away the knowledge of what Steve and Hannah were doing. Bucky smirked as he heard them too and he flipped you over, the glint of his competitive nature bleeding into his eyes as he pulled out.
“Bucky, please…” you whined as your pussy ached to be filled by him again.
“Patience sweetheart.” He chuckled as he settled between your legs. “I didn’t get to say hello to my best girl.”
Stars shattered your vision until the outdated wallpaper was replaced by a galaxy and you cried out as his tongue delved between your slit with a kiss he usually savoured to dominate your mouth. Your legs squirmed from the sparks that jolted down them but Bucky’s hands held you tight and kept you from wriggling away. You were so close to coming and he could feel it as your clit bounced over his tongue.
“Oh god, Bucky!”
Bucky crawled up your body, kissing the soft skin along your belly, stopping to give some love to the breasts he salivated for until he got to your lips. “I love you.”
Your words were lost in a moan as he filled you and hooked your leg over his hip. Bucky’s eyes were practically glowing in the reflection of the neon sign outside the window and you were enamoured by the love they held for you. If only you had listened to your gut all those years ago, you could have saved both of you a lot of time and heartache.
“I love you too.”
His thumb caressed your cheek and he smiled the kind of smile that left your stomach somersaulting and your pussy clenching. He always smiled when you said those words, like he was still surprised that you would say them to him.
You took his hand and laced your fingers with his as his slow strokes turned frantic, every thrust aimed at the sweet spot that left your head spinning. The room was filled with heady moans and the delicious sounds of your bodies joining in a heated dance, an overload to your aural senses of the best kind. Heat spread across your skin until you were slick with a sheen of sweat and the elastic band in your core snapped, sending your body convulsing beneath his touch.
“Bucky!” You whined as he kept his relentless pass and chased his own release. “Oh fuck.”
Bucky shuddered as he buried himself to the hilt and let a deep growl claw out from chest before collapsing atop you, his lips pressing gentle kissing to your racing pulse.
“We should shower and get ready to go.” Bucky murmured as he reluctantly sat up.
“Go where?” You asked as you caught him and pulled him back, still not finished with his cuddles.
“I can’t handle 14 more hours of Steve’s music.” He smirked, dragging you up with him and letting him lead you to the shower. “They have got to get their own ride and I know the perfect place to win one.”

Gas is more expensive than ever, and consuming a lot of it just means that you’re forking over your hard-earned paycheque to a coterie of evil greedheads. Instead, follow these simple tips to drive more efficiently, and you’ll put everyone around you at risk in order to shave cents off of your weekly commute bill. Or: you could quit your job and not have to commute at all. Just saying.
Braking. The biggest way that people use too much fuel is to unnecessarily accelerate hard, and then lose all of the energy in the gasoline they just burned by braking too much. Here’s how you solve this: move to the top of a very steep hill, and never use the brakes. Gravity is free, and it isn’t even covered by your taxes. What about getting back up the hill? Easy: hook a rope around the largest asshole pickup truck you see on the way and let him tractor-pull you up the hill. He probably won’t even notice the extra drag, especially if you stay off the brakes.
Steering. Sometimes, you have to take a corner. Our municipal experts have been working hard at making cities as boring as humanly possible so that you won’t enjoy it, but don’t listen to them. Several hours of immersion into modern racing simulators like Gran Turismo and Grand Theft Auto 3 will teach you how to take corners aggressively, and thereby preserve more of that precious, precious momentum. Plus, it will make you angrier at everyone else on the road, which brings us to:
Running for Office. Once you’re in charge, things are gonna change around here. Now it’s the taxpayer’s job to pay for your gasoline, and your chauffeur can worry about dense traffic, keeping an eye out for protesters, avoiding the paparazzi, and foiling the plans of domestic terrorists who bay for your blood. Sound familiar? It should: our primitive ancestors called this “car-pooling.”

When Worlds Collide - The Early Merger Era of USCR
Tumblr media
I remember when I was in high school I would always try and get my school's "Car Club" up and going. I'd post flyers, give announcements over the PA and ask the teacher lending us the room for help with ideas. Unfortunately it was only ever me and one other classmate who would occupy the classroom at lunch, never really finding a single person to share my rather obsessive interest with. There was this one other kid, a senior at the time, that would be at one of the computers in the class room looking at spotters guides of some sorts. At the time I was solely a NASCAR fan, not really paying much attention to other forms of motorsport. I knew Super GT existed thanks to Gran Turismo 5, and of course there was Formula 1 but I never feigned too much interest in it. So when I peeked at his screen I noticed that it was what known as the Tudor United Sports Car Championship at the time. Of course, I didn't know what it actually was at that time. My small little NASCAR infested brain had never heard of this series before -- and that's because it was a completely new idea, birthed from years of two separate American sports car series competing for the same audience throughout the 00s and early 10s. The American Le Mans Series was much like the rest of the ACO sanctioned championships across the globe, using state of the art prototypes and factory GT efforts to fill their grids. However, by the end of the ALMS era there was a clear struggle to fill the prototype grids, with only a literal couple of P1 entrants running in any given race weekend.

flickr
The Grand-Am Road Racing Series was the complete opposite of the sleek and sexy cars ready to travel to France every June. Their top class were these tube frame "prototurtles", which in their first year looked more Florida man rather than Florida endurance classic. However, what they did have in their pocket was the iconic Daytona 24, which throughout its years would play host to multiple big time NASCAR superstars hopping in to turn right for the first time in a few good months. Their GT cars were also a bit non-orthodox for that matter too -- whereas you had Porsches and Corvettes battling it out for top honors literally shoulder checking each other Grand Am boasted Pontiac GXPs and Mazda6s... though, admittedly they were also tube frame based machines.
Tumblr media
So when the merger news came about, obviously it was a pretty big shock to everyone's system. I mean, how the heck would these two completely different types of series fit in with one another given that Daytona Prototypes were literally pieces of metal put together to look somewhat like a race car in comparison to the prohibitively expensive prototypes that literally no one could afford to run these days... but maybe that's what sports car racing needed. After years of having to recover from the sudden decline of the sport (thanks Bernie) everyone was kinda doing whatever the hell in their own corner, with the BPR scurrying off into their own corner trying to make their own flavor of sports car racing before getting blown up by some guys from Stuttgart that would create so much baggage for Stephane Ratel that he garnered a hate boner for factory teams, the ACO still hanging onto the Le Mans 24 with its ever changing prototype category that once literally got gamed by those same German assholes from Stuttgart a few years earlier, the guys in Japan having to make a completely new regulation after their prototype series just kinda died off which even led one team fielding a 962C against some Skylines... America just kind of had to go their own way. And we all know the trope of the USA saving the world.
youtube
Tumblr media
I mean, the mere sight of seeing these brute beasts with their loud and brash V8 motors running alongside these sleek and sexy prototypes is enough to get anyone the least bit interested just for the weird factor. The racing it gave wasn't too bad either.
Tumblr media
The premise of these awkward Daytona Prototypes bumbling through the bumps of Sebring just like their European brethren is worth the price of admission itself. And we haven't even gotten to the rest of the field! You had the infamous Prototype Challenge category that would provide the race with its full course yellow quotas and almost down right dangerous levels of idiocy, but they're just honestly trying their best. Of course, there was also the ever iconic GTLM field with multiple factory GT teams duking it out going all touring car on each other battling for 2nd to last, while the GTD class derived from the Grand-AM GT category had its own oddities that would be simply wrong to look over. The 911 GT America is a car that seems to come out of someone's fever dream that I wouldn't be surprised if it came up in a /r/ThomasThePlankEngine post. There was also the R8 LMS with the teeny ass wing. I don't know why I remember that, but it's always so funny to see that specific car show up in Forza games when there's literally newer R8s to feature.
Tumblr media
youtube
Even the calendar itself was a "greatest hits" of both series, with both sides having to play on each other's grounds with the Daytona 24 and the 12 hours of Sebring being the big crown jewel events. Of course, you also had the rest of the endurance races that both series managed to carry over, the 6 Hours of the Glen from the Grand-Am side and the Petit Le Mans over on ALMS' side. Long Beach and Belle Isle were two street courses that both series brought along that would prove to be marquee events, and something of an interesting tidbit that I would be remiss to mention would be the Prototype Challenge only race at Kansas Speedway. Yeah. That layout. You know the one.
Tumblr media
The Daytona Prototype mix of cars lasted up until the end of 2016, which would bring the beginning of the new era of sports car racing. While I don't have great opinions on the DPi platform, it nevertheless influenced the current resurgence of the prototype category, whilst the growth of the global GT3 regulation made up by our good friend Stephane Ratel would occupy the GTD category and would go on to encompass the entire field, becoming one of the many influences that would make it replace the declining GTE class as the top global grand touring class in the world. Indeed, the United part of the United Sports Car Championship really did become reality -- though it probably had a far bigger outreach than they initially expected. Or maybe it was their intention from the get-go. Who knows. Anyways, take a look at this Daytona Prototype.

Do you think the younger drivers have an advantage on the track because they play those driving video games so often? I was thinking about Gran Turismo and an article I've read about surgeons who play video games regularly having better precision in surgery than the ones who don't play.
So I wonder if the F1 drivers who play driving simulation games in their downtime are better off than the ones who don't. Idk all the ones who play, but Norris and MV come to mind
Hiii Anon! Very interesting question! I wasn't sure how serious I should get with the answer but in the end I followed my heart and went serious and extremely long because that's always what I do anyway.
Tl;Dr : No, probably not.
There's two ways video games could impact real life F1 skills, and that's through training of skills directly or indirectly related to F1 driving.
The first possibility is training skills so tightly similar to the ones used in real life F1 racing that it transfers to real life racing. Think of actual sim driving for example. It can be used to learn unfamiliar circuit layouts, where to brake, where to accelerate, etc. I don't know enough about the F1 racing games to know if they are accurate enough for it to transfer, but I guess if they are it could help learn the circuits. However, it also means the in-game physics need to be good enough for the car to react in the way it would IRL, otherwise it's pointless when it comes to where to brake, for example. We know that's what they're trying to do with professional driving sims and when the on-track data and the sim data don't correlate that's a big issue for the team. And we also know that the car performance vary a lot between teams so how accurate can the video game really be?
Another thing to take into account here is that driving an F1 car is extremely physical, and when you play a video game you don't get all the physical feedback and sensations you would driving the car, which makes it way easier. Your vision would be more stable without the vibrations and the bottoming and the bumps in the road etc. You can focus more easily without the noise, the radio comms, the pain, the exertion, the heat, etc. But also you're missing info like physical sensations, wind, probably to some extent watching around to see where the other cars are, etc. So racing sims can never be accurate enough.
However, there's also indirect skills. I've kind of mentioned that one or twice before when listing what I would test the drivers for if I was hired to study their cognitive and psychological profiles, but there are more general cognitive skills that they're bound to have unusual performances in compared to the general population, otherwise they wouldn't be able to do what they do. For example, their attentional skills must be different to most to be able to deal with the distractions I mentioned earlier such as radio comms, visual disturbances, vibrations, pain, etc. for a whole race. I would bet on their short term/working memory, which allows for the active retention of information (think mental calculus : you need to remember the numbers AND apply an operation to them), to be very good, because they're being told their times and other people times and need to conclude stuff from that, etc.
So a possibility is that playing certain games (and not necessarily only racing ones) serves as training for these transversal skills that aren't exclusively tied to racing an F1 car. We have data that suggests that it is the case, and that video games can be beneficial for so called soft skills. BUT. Really though?
See the thing is my thesis was on a subject parallel to this and so I've learned a thing or two about the effects of video games and one such thing is that even though we do have studies that show positive outcomes to playing video games, the skills learnt through video games unfortunately don't transfer to new contexts very well. Even when said video games are actually gamified training programs rather than commercial video games. It means for example (and this is a made up example to be clear) you might have data showing that people who play Call Of Duty a lot have above average visuo-spatial skills due to learning to shoot people precisely and quickly but that doesn't necessarily help them navigate an unfamiliar environment IRL better than average because although both tasks rely on visuo-spatial skills, the task they've trained for (shooting people in a video game) is extremely specific and the gains don't necessarily generalise to other similar but different tasks (finding your way in a new city).
So all in all, I don't think them playing video games makes much of a difference. Not in a direct training way, especially as people who have access to actual professional racing sims + regularly drive actual cars around actual circuits ; they would learn way more by doing the real thing, especially for years, than, say, by playing fun video games during their winter break. And not in an indirect way either, because they're bound to be such outliers in the relevant transversal skills anyway that I don't think playing video games would make much of a difference. It's not impossible that directly or indirectly the video games are somewhat beneficial for them, but imo the gains would be negligible.

Salar de Uyuni: Part 1
Once onboard the night bus we were served half a styrofoam cup of boiling water and a tea bag of our choice, I chose coca tea to try and settle my stomach for the ride. Then we were given our dinner which was actually great, it was like a little in flight meal with rice, vegetables, and chicken in a sauce. It’s a shame I didn’t really have much of an appetite because it was delicious. Through the night I slept a decent amount which surprised me, it could’ve been all the random stops on the side of the road for 30-60 minutes at a time. All these delays meant that we arrived into Uyuni right around sunrise and they took us to a viewpoint to watch it and eat our breakfast of a white bread sandwich with ham and cheese and a juice box. I drank the juice but left the sandwich on the bus - silly because I could’ve fed it to some sad street dogs. When we alighted in central Uyuni I was in desperate need of a toilet but everything in the entire city was closed based on my walk around for about half an hour. I headed for my hostel and they let me use the facilities there until I needed to go and meet my tour. Since the wifi actually worked I decided to book a flight back to La Paz which was about $90 - I could not envision sitting through that bus ride again and arrived in La Paz needing to fill the hours until check in. I freshened up with a change of clothes, and brushed my teeth then went back to the tour office which was packed with people so I sat outside on the step to wait. I chatted with the Austrian guy Rafael who had shared my Peruhop bus from Puno and the night bus too. The conversation was a good distraction from the radio nearby that was blasting Daddy Cool on repeat. Finally we were all summoned inside to go over the plan for the day tour, as well as the plan for the three day tour which is seemed most people had booked. There were four others in the day group; Fatima from France, Adrian and Jane from Leeds, UK, and Paul who was Indian but had relocated to Denver, CO with US citizenship almost 20 years ago. It was a good bunch of people to spend the day with and with our driver Miguel and guide Bismark we set off to our first stop El Cementerio de Trenes. A train track runs across Bolivia from nearby Potosi to Chile that was historically used as silver was discovered in Potosi and through a drawing in the sand Bismark explained that the dollar symbol was actually born here as a double letter PP that stands for plata Potosi. The train cemetery itself was a place for all the old steam locomotives that have been retired as they are too slow in today’s modern age so they’ve left to rust in the middle of nowhere in Bolivia’s desert. Our next visit was the town of Colchani which works mostly on producing table salt by mining the salt crystals, processing and washing, and adding iodine so it can be consumed. I bought a souvenir magnet and some bags of flavoured salt for Korey and then sat with the group for our shared lunch. Our driver Miguel had prepared lunch of vegetables, beef, and quinoa for us of which I could only manage a few bites. None of us drink fizzy drinks but we all had our arms twisted to try a few sips of the Bolivian Coke as Bismark said it’s sweetened with sugar cane instead of the high fructose corn syrup in the US. I never drink Coke at home though so I had nothing to compare it to but my teeth still hurt drinking it!

Quais são as lendas do automobilismo brasileiro que podem influenciar nas apostas esportivas?
Lendas do automobilismo brasileiro

KW has developed two new Solid-Piston suspensions for the Lotus Emira: DTM suspension technology for retrofitting on both road and racetrack Fichtenberg (Germany), November 27, 2023 – As the British sports car brand Lotus gears up to exclusively offer electrified vehicle models, it bids farewell to its mid-engine sports car, the Lotus Emira. KW automotive, a renowned suspension manufacturer, unveils two four-way adjustable coilover suspension kits, the KW V5 and KW V5 Clubsport, both boasting TÜV approval for this iconic sports car. Both coilover kits utilize KW's innovative solid piston design, enabling independent adjustment of high-speed and low-speed compression and rebound forces. Offering a stepless lowering range of 10 to 30 millimeters, each kit caters to specific driving preferences. The KW V5 Clubsport coilover is meticulously engineered for regular track day enthusiasts with semi-slick tires, while the KW V5 coilover is recommended for those seeking to inject the Emira with the spirited handling of a Gran Turismo, prioritizing enhanced ride comfort. More at www.kwsuspensions.net KW automotive is one of the first suspension manufacturers in the aftermarket to offer coilovers with solid piston dampers, including parts certification. KW's successful KW Solid-Piston technology, initially developed for the GT3 customer sports program, is now used in increasing street and track day suspension applications. Even for off-road vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz G-Class or sport cars like Porsche 911, KW is developing its solid piston shocks. Converting the Lotus factory suspension to the KW V5 coilover or KW V5 Clubsport suspension does not compromise the Lotus's sporty handling. The era when upgrading to high-quality coilovers sacrificed ride comfort is long gone. "With the introduction of the V5 and V5 Clubsport coilovers, we now offer this cutting-edge technology for the Lotus Emira," says KW Brand Manager Florian Johann. "The significant advantage of our Solid-Piston dampers is that we can work more intensively with damper hydraulics and streamline the entire system for a more compact design." Notably, the KW V5 and KW V5 Clubsport suspensions for the Lotus Emira eliminate the need for external reservoirs with hose connections or fixed piggybacks. Unlike conventional mono-tube and twin-tube dampers where the working piston and valves can overflow, this is not the case with KW V5 coilover suspension kits. The entire oil column is displaced from the piston into the valve housing, equipped with independently adjustable high-speed and low-speed compression as well as high-speed and low-speed rebound valves. This damping technology allows the KW solid-piston-based suspension to respond with heightened sensitivity to factors like road irregularities, enabling smoother damping. Despite minimal suspension travel, this damping capability guarantees the Lotus Emira's stability and effortless control at its limits. Even on rough roads, the mid-engine sports car's handling can notably improve due to these characteristics. Individually Adjustable Four-Way Damping Both coilover suspensions offer independent compression and rebound valves adjustment, offering 14 clicks available in both high-speed and low-speed settings. High-speed and low-speed refer to the movement of the damper's piston rods, not the vehicle's speed. Fast piston rod movements occur during compression and rebound over rough or uneven asphalt, including when driving over bridge expansion joints. Slow damping velocities, on the other hand, applies to activities like acceleration, braking, and steering. "The best way to remember this is: anything that affects the suspension from the road is a high-speed input, while anything caused directly by the steering wheel or pedals is a low-speed input," explains Florian Johann. "The compression setting affects the compression phase, while the rebound setting is responsible for the rebound phase." The ability to independently adjust the V5 dampers in each parameter allows for increased ride comfort without sacrificing handling. For instance, users can tailor high-speed valve settings for a more comfortable compression and rebound, while opting for stiffer low-speed damping for sharper handling. For avid track enthusiasts, KW recommends the KW V5 Clubsport coilover suspension due to its higher spring rates, unibal-mounted attachment components, and optimized design for semi-slick tires. Both coilover suspensions available for the Lotus Emira come with parts certification, and the ride height can be continuously adjusted between 10 and 30 millimeters at both the front and rear axles. #kwsuspension #rpmmag #rpmmagazine Read the full article
