COMMON TERMS IN EDITBLR & THEIR MEANINGS. — guide by Aria.
* this post includes long texts.
KIN / ME TAGS
usually used by fictionkins who dont like doubles. "No Kin/Me tags" means you cant tag the character in the post as your kin, nor as "you", "irl you", or similar, usually due to the OP being uncomfortable with it. just respect it.
F/O TAGS
f/o (standing for fictional other; a character one selfships with, often romantic but can also be platonic, familial, or more) tags are essentially the same as the previous; OP probably is a self-shipper (also known as Yume, but could also be a Riako) of such character, and does not want other Yumes to tag the character as "their partner/wife/husband/love", or otherwise similar terms reflecting the user having a relationship with the character.
F2U or FTU
F2U, or FTU (standing for free to use) means... exactly what you think; usage of the creation posted is allowed to the public.
NF2U or NFTU
...the opposite. usage of the work is not allowed. the OP can sometimes also add "unless [user/name] afterwards, meaning only the one mentioned can use it.
CREDIT
pretty basic in every community. leave the OP's user somewhere visible; some have preferences of how they like to be given credit, such as; Linking, (linking their post or profile to a text, usually pinned post or your bio,) @'ing them, or just Adding their user somewhere visible (again, such as a bio or pinned post.)
REPOST & REBLOG
these two have a big difference. reblog is when you click the button on the app that looks like this -> 🔁, and repost is when you save the work and post it somewhere else. never repost someone's work unless they allow it, but reblogs are always nice.
PLAIN TEXT / TRANSLATION
tons of people here use typing quirks and/or fonts that some cant read, find difficult to read, or break screenreaders, which obviously bothers them a lot. plain texts/translations are versions of the same texts that are easier to read, having no typing quirks, fonts, symbols, or whatever was making it difficult/impossible to read and such.
PSD
stands for photoshop document. can be used on photopea or photoshop. when using these, it saves the project file and when opened has each layer, instead of the flat image. the term PSD is often used for colorings that alter the colors of your picture to custom ones with settings made by the creator, but it can be used for anything.

USING AS BASE
commonly used for psds. this means you cannot grab the psd, and... use it as a base, adding your own layers to it and making it your own.

so i needed a paper bag tutorial for small business packaging. but i needed something larger like at least 14 by 14 inches and all the tutorials i cld find online were suited for smaller dimensions and became tricky to modify for the size i needed. (at least to me it was tricky). so i played around with a large sheet of brown paper which is what i will be using and i came upon this design. it's super simple (to me) which was also a problem with most of the tutorials, they were difficult to follow and i need something quick enough that won't take too much time. i highly doubt i've reinvented the wheel and the exact thing probably exist somewhere else already. just i could not find it. so yeah i made a tutorial for it bc i don't trust myself to remember the steps in years to come without having it saved somewhere. so yeah feel free to test it out and lmk how it goes :)

I came across a source that really really helped me use straightening and unstraightening. It's an unpublished set of notes on someone's website, but there's no links to it on their site. I'd upload the PDF but tumblr won't let me.
I basically only read section 1. And uh cocartesian fibrations are I think precisely fibered infinity categories so if you just erase the infinity everywhere this is about fibered categories.

Is the reason why the fundamental group of a space is not enough to classify a space something to do with how we lose information when we take loops upto homotopy?
There is usually no canonical/unique homotopy between two homotopic loops. So can we say that the second homotopy group is talking about these homotopies upto homotopy?

the catsuit : a meta
this is a guide to my version of catwoman’s full catsuit. it takes inspiration from many interpretations though mainly the dark knight rises, the new-52, and the batman: arkham series. the goal was to reimagine the catsuit as practical while maintaining its sleek, iconic style.

COMPONENTS
Cowl - A fitted hood made of the same material as as the catsuit, contains a semi-flexible helmet-like plate to protect the top and back of the head as well as the temples that cuts off just before the nape of the neck. Signature cat ears formed with a more firm substance sit atop the head. A strap that clasps under the chin secures it in place.
Goggles - High-tech infrared goggles with an optional night vision setting. Convex lenses maintain a yellow, red, or green tint while the frames themselves have a sharp cat-eye shape. Lenses are replaceable. A woven elastic band keeps them from moving out of position and provides more comfort than a fabric or plastic snap.
Collar - Choker worn occasionally. Serves little to no functional purpose.
Catsuit - Full bodysuit with a zipper down the middle. Mock turtleneck, full length sleeves and pants. Forms to fit the body snuggly but not enough to inhibit movement. Breathable, abrasion-resistant material wicks away moisture with reinforcements and tear-resistant mesh in critical areas.
Belt - Worn when necessary/during high-risk engagements. Contains compartments to hold various weapons and tools. More than often will include smoke pellets, sleep gas, sleep darts, caltrops, bolas, duct tape, or other items imperative to the mission.
Gloves - Well-fitted to cover the whole hand and a quarter of the arm. Crafted from the same material as the catsuit. Sharp claws created accent the end of each finger.
Boots - Shin high combat-style boots secured by belts rather than ties. Flexible build overlaid with a material to match the catsuit.
Whip - Black bullwhip with a cat charm attached to the handle.
Backpack - Simple black bag with optional crossbody strap used occasionally for carrying extra necessities and larger loot.
FUNCTIONS
Cowl - Protection of identity. Provides some protection from blows to the head. Ears can be used for painful headbutting.
Goggles - Detection of enemies, allies, and loot. Used to see more easily during the night time and in dark places. Protects the eyes from harmful substances and blows. Lenses can be broken if hit with enough force.
Collar - Cute. Can be used as a tourniquet if need be.
Catsuit - Provides protection from the elements, harmful blows, cuts, stabs, scrapes, etc. Made to camouflage in darkness and allow for fluid movement.
Belt - Cases and protects weapons, tools, and valuables.
Gloves - Protect the hands in close combat, make the impact of punches less painful for the wearer. Prevent the wearer from leaving behind fingerprints. Claws are used for assault as well as cutting through vulnerable objects and fabrics. Individual claws are held in place by braces sewn into the finger of the glove to support the finger itself. Braces encase the first and second joints of the fingers and remain flexible at the bend. These braces ensure that the impact of a claw strike is not taken solely by the point of the finger. They also make claw replacement easy should any break.
Boots - Built flexibly for both movement and comfort. Absorb impact with support in the ball, heel, and arch of the foot. Non-slip with a print indistinguishable from most work shoes.
Whip - Weapon. Uncommon enough so that it can very rarely be turned against its original wielder should she become disarmed.
Backpack - Self-explanatory.

Cowl - Cordura brand nylon, Kevlar, fiberglass, polypropylene foam, epoxy resin (ears), aluminum
Goggles - Glass, fiberglass, phosphor, gallium arsenide, ceramic, aluminum, germanium, silicon, ZnS, ZnSe, magnesium fluoride, sapphire, CaF2, BaF2
Collar - Cordura brand nylon, aluminum, woven elastic
Catsuit - Cordura brand nylon, Kevlar (reinforcements along the waist, upper outer thigh, shoulder, tricep, forearm, and lower back), tear-resistant mesh over all reinforced areas, aluminum zipper
Belt - HDPE, aluminum
Gloves - Cordura brand nylon, Kevlar, HDPE, polypropylene foam, aluminum (claw braces), tungsten carbide (claws)
Boots - Vegan leather microfiber, Gore-Tex nylon, Cordura brand nylon, gel insoles, rubber, aluminum
Whip - Faux leather, aluminum
Backpack - It’s a backpack

HOW TO MAKE FADING GIFS. — tutorial by Aria.

STEP 01: have your frames—your frames are the images that will fade into each other. in this case i'll only use 2, but feel free to use as many as you'd like. ( note, do not save them like i did here ⬇️ lol, thats just to show my frames. )
STEP 02: open ezgif (linked to text). specifically the section labeled as "gif maker".
then, click choose files and pick your frames from your gallery.
STEP 03: after picking your files, it'll appear as [amount of files] files. scroll down and click on "Upload Files!".
STEP 04: wait a moment for your files to load. then, you'll get this screen. in the image i explained the basic stuff, but i'll explain it here too.;
Delay Time: how long each frame will last.
Crossfade frames: whether the frames fade into each other or just turn from one to another without transition. check the box if you want them to fade.
Don't stack frames: check this box if your frames have transparent background(s). if not checked, when frame 1 turns into frame 2, frame 1 will stay in the background—stacking the frames.
you can drag the files / frames to your desired order.
STEP 05: click "Make a GIF!". it may take a while to load, but then this will appear under. just click "Save" and wait for it to save to your device.
