Tutorial: Why is my TS4 game running sooo slow?
Because you're an idiot, dear child. But don't worry, those who make the content you download are even bigger idiots.
And how could I solve this problem, Nyx? It's very simple: go into the Mods folder and find the folder where you collect those hairs that you put on your ugly sims. Use Sims4Studio to delete the unnecessary swatch tags - I recently came across some hairs that were 80-120 megabytes and contained 40-80 swatches. You probably only use 4 of them. Delete the excess! Good luck!

Hey Marta :)! I have a conversion question; do you have any idea why when I converted a plant from s4 did the leaves in s3 become all squares without the right transparency?
Hello there Nonny! It's simplier than you may think ^-^

So, the issue you have is caused by the multiplier.
As you can see from the images below, the Sims 4 texture has transparent background parts (the first image is the multiplier I've baked in Blender):
You just have to select the leaves and the flowers, paste them on the baked multiplier and press delete. Now it should look like this:
Done! The multiplier's ready to be imported in tsrw.
Always remember to save it .dds so that it can keep the transparency :)
Last thing to check is alpha mask threshold in the mesh tab.
Click on these little dots and check if that setting is something between 130 and 200:
And you’re done!
Hope it helps <3

Thank you @gruesim for mentioning me ^-^ As already said by Frankie, importing the mesh over an object that already has the glass group is the best and fastest way. Beware that you need to assign bones to the object, otherwise the glass group won’t show up in game (this was my big problem back then lmao) If you want to manually add a glass group, go to mesh tab and procede as follows: 1- duplicate the phong group, a message will pop up, press “yes”; 2- change the shader of the duplicated group from “phong” to “glass for objects”. Another message will pop up, press “yes” again; 3- Now it’s time to delete some stuff you don’t need - right-click a parameter and press delete. These are the settings I use (you have to change diffuse and specular values only, everything else should already be okay). You can fiddle with transparency and glass color by changing the diffuse values.
4- Once you’re okay with them click done, another two messages will pop up, press “yes” for both. DONE :)
Hiii, I was wondering if there was anyway you could please do a quick tutorial on how to convert an object with glass, like a car, or a glass table, etc. I'm very familiar with converting objects, clothes, shoes, all that, but for some reason objects with glass get me every time. Thank you so much :D
I may punt this over to @martassimsbookcc as they are way better at this than me! I personally just import over an object that already has glass 🙈 but maybe they have more tips!
