Last Song: The Chain by Fleetwood Mac because I’m still in OFMD mode. Am anxiously awaiting the new Florence album that comes out this week though!

Last Show: Don’t remember which one I watched most recently from start to end but it was either Heartstopper (wholesome af) or the Semantic Error drama (also 10/10) which are both just very gay and seratonin-boosting.

Currently Watching: I’ve got a freaking list lol. So there’s Derry Girls (literally the funniest thing ever. My comfort series), the Owl House, Drag Race España (team Juriji!), Survivor 42 (team Omar), and One Piece (I usually don’t watch the anime and just read the manga but they’re currently animating a really good part so I can’t resist). Also, I’m rewatching Naruto for the first time since high school and am currently on Shippuden (if my constant sns spamming wasn’t indication). I think that’s all of it? I watch Jeopardy most nights too.

Was also just thinking how there hasn’t been much anime lately that’s interested me so I’ve been rewatching the classics. Idk. Is it just me being picky? I remember I used to watch like 5 series per season back in the day and now I watch a few new ones a year.

Wangxian royal au + almost kiss or modern au + hospital

Inhindsight, Jiang Cheng should have known better than to accept Wei Wuxian’schallenges given their track record of police run-ins and hospital emergencies.Past Jiang Cheng (“It was literally just ten minutes ago haha” “Shut the fuckup! I’m trying to keep you alive here!”) though was all about proving hisadopted brother wrong.

 So whenthey saw a raging bull on the city streets (no, don’t ask him please redirectyour inquiries to the Jin family) and Jiang Cheng idly commented, ‘Bet you can’trun faster than the bull’ and Wei Wuxian’s sparkly eyes looked at him as hereplied, “Bet!” – past Jiang Cheng can’t really be blamed. Their parentsunimpressed gazes doesn’t seem to agree but that’s a story for another time.

 When theyfinally reached the hospital, received the judgmental look from the nurse asusual (Mian Mian doesn’t have the right because she was with them two hospitaltrips ago), and ushered to the examination room where a Doctor Lan Wangji (whichsounded like the name of their batchmate in Cloud Recesses boarding school) wasstationed, Jiang Cheng should have realized that nothing is easy when it comesto the gremlin he was with.

 The moment the doctor – Lan Wangji, it says on his nameplate (and hey,it is indeed the LanWangji they knew of…shit) – turned to them, a hysterical screech escaped WeiWuxian.

 “Lan Zhan! Lan Zhan! Lan Zhan!”

 “Wei Ying..?” came the soft inquiry from the doctor (which hey, rudebecause Jiang Cheng was also there and he didn’t get the same acknowledgment).

 Wei Wuxian seemed to have forgotten about his (dumb) injury and boundedto Lan Wangji happily. “Oohhh. Lan Zhan’s a doctor now! Ahh~ It’s like theheavens decided to send their angels directly to care for us poor mortalshahaha”

 Jiang Cheng face palmed as he slowly recalled the weird fixation thathis brother had on their classmate before. Memories of  Wei Wuxian spending detention in the librarywith Lan Wangji as his discipline officer, the time Wei Wuxian jumped on thesame shower stall as Lan Wangji to “save time”, and so much more were almostenough to make Jiang Cheng cry in secondhand embarrassment.

 “Lan Zhan! Maybe you should just hug me tightly so the blood will stopflowing! Hahahaha~”

 Just as Jiang Cheng was about to scream at him for bothering their pastclassmate and current doctor, the sight of Lan Wangji’s ears turning red at WeiWuxian’s suggestions and the look of consideration that passed his eyes madehim pause.

 Dear Heavens.

 Good Lord.

 Almighty Universe.

 Hellfucking no.

Showing some attention to his interests) but still gently reminding him he needs to learn properly how to defend himself. Also just more nhs screentime in general I’m excited for the movie

How I feel about this character: 1st of all i want him as my dad, lsz had it so good... also sometimes i think about lwj and how much he loves wei wuxian and i get so soft and also very jealous of wei wuxian... also my heart gets so heavy thinking about how miserable lwj’s life has been, but AT LEAST he got his happy ending!
