II.

I've been praying recently for God to open my heart and mind to hearing His direction for my life. I feel so, so close to Him when I pray, give thanks, and just talk to God, but as soon as I say "amen", my mind begins racing and I'm left with a heavy heart full of confusion, hurt, and doubt. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with things to pray for that all I can do is say "Jesus" and know that He understands and hears my unspoken prayers. I opened Tumblr in hopes of finding scripture and found a post that spoke to me so completely and accurately that I know it was God saying, "I'm here, I hear you, let me take care of you". Today I am so thankful for people who love Jesus, post what He puts on their hearts, and who use social media as a mission field. PTL for a God who cannot be put in a box or limited by my humanness.
