Omg hii!! The answer is I really enjoyed it, and I'm actually about two-fifths through tyk now! Jby is only narrowly my second favorite, omg, I'm so obsessed with how he's the type of catcoded character who quietly kills for you and then bleeds out to the side without a word... shaking him. Why are you like this jby!!!! (Wu xi claims first place because I am truly just so endeared by how direct he is, and jby deserves someone like that!!!)

I'll admit that I was actually lukewarm on qi ye for a good portion of its run in part because I was expecting more to come from the entire fact that jby is a reincarnator-- I thought we'd get to learn more about his past life and how it shaped him to be the person he is as we know him, and I feel that the expected foreknowledge played less of a role than I expected it would in a reincarnation story... but in the end, the characters really pulled it all together for me, I was just so strongly charmed by them all!!! And I LOVED the ending, I thought it was the perfect cap to jby's story!!! Lying liars who lie fr 🥰🥰🥰 Xiyuan is soo this post to me :)
