Hi all! Here is an update about the goings on for the Festival starting this weekend.  Once again, if you would like your character to miss all or some of the event, you just need to fill out an ‘Event Time Off’ form which you can find here! 

As always, travel, hotel, food, etc. will be provided by and paid for by Unknown Events. While everyone will be staying at the hotels mentioned below, we did not set up roommates this time around.  Rooming is up to your character or their management team or however you want to plot it out! 

If you would like to make an activity or mini-event for people to optionally attend on their days off, just send us and ask and we will add it to the schedule.  Everything below is mandatory unless you will out the form to miss part of some of the event. 

Thursday 12/26 - Friday 12/27: Fly to Seoul, South Korea & check into your hotel - The Oakwood Premier Coex Center, Seoul

Your characters may start their travels whenever suits them best so up to you when they leave for Seoul.  Some people like to rp the realistic amount of travel and others speed it up - we’re perfectly ok with you doing whichever works best for you and your character. 

Saturday 12/28 - Monday 12/30: Sand & Snow Festival Seoul at Seoul Olympic Stadium 

This is not a pure concert festival.  While musicians will play a show on one of the three days, there will also be panels, Q&A’s, party with celebs, meet & greets, sponsored parties, etc.  Think of it like attending Coachella where celebs not performing are still spotlighted and do interviews about the events. We are open to adding events in that you would like to collaborate with other members- for example if your character would like to do a fashion show for their clothing line and have one of the bands play the music during the show,  vloggers & e-gammers and actors teaming up to do a skit or comedy show (ie. Captain Marvel plays The Sims 100 Baby Challenge or Aria Stark reacts to Clickbait… idk im not paid for this…) If you have any ideas, let us know and we will add them to the events list! 

Tuesday 12/31: New Years Eve Rave at Suwon World Cup Stadium

Everyone is invited to attend the NYE Rave as guest.  However, if you would like your character to hold a one hour DJ set that evening, just send us an ask! Any character no matter their job or fame level can have a set so don’t let that hold you back. You can post a few songs from your setlist too.  If you don’t want to have a set, you will attend the event as a guest and party all night long.  Everyone that works for Unknown Events will have All Access credentials so they may go backstage, to the VIP box seats, and use their pass to get free drinks and food. 

**There will be Unknown Event only charter busses to take you from the hotel in Seoul to the Suwon World Cup Stadium.  That means you can preparty on the way there with all your friends and sleep on the way back. 

Wednesday 1/1: Day off to explore

The day is in your hands. You may stay in Seoul or travel to nearby attractions. You can use your day to visit museums, shop the malls, visit a spa, hike the Bukhansan national park... Or get a little quirky and head to a raccoon cafe, good luck toast shop, or even hop on the train to Imsil to a Cheese Theme Park.  You’ll be given cash from Unknown Events to cover travel and food for the day.  

Thursday 1/2: Travel Day fly from Seoul to Busan - stay at Lotte Hotel Busan

Hop on an Unknown Events chartered plane and head over to Busan.  The flight isn’t too long so spend the rest of the day exploring and having your own adventure. You will check into your new hotel and have the evening to enjoy the pool, spa, and walk around, take a night cruise, or head to the observatory for lovely views of the lights and stars. 

Friday 1/3 - Sunday 1/5: Sand & Snow Festival Busan at Busan Asiad Stadium. 

This will be basically a repeat of the first festival, but now located in Busan.  Once again, it will not only be a music festival, but also include panels, parties, interviews, etc.  When you aren’t busy with your own festival duties, you may check out the musical acts, visit any of the parties, or go back to the hotel for a nap if you need.  There will be charter vans to take you back and forth from the hotel and stadium.  

Monday 1/6: Day off to explore Busan 

Explore Busan and the area around it any way you want.  You can hang out in the city or travel to nearby attractions that you’ve always wanted to visit. Theres the Cimer Spa for some luxuriant hot springs, Haeundae Beach but it might be a lil too cold to swim, Gwangbokdong Food Street filled with food stalls, the Modern History Museum and more! 

Tuesday 1/7: Day off/Travel Day bus ride from Busan to Yongin

Unknown Events will load up in charter busses and take you to the city of Yongin.  You will check in to the The Soom Forest Hotel and get to explore Yongin for the evening.  You might wanna head to the Folk Village or grab some food at the Jukjeon Cafe Street. 

Wednesday 1/8: Everland Theme Park Meet & Greet Takeover  

Everland was Korea’s first family park and is still one of its most popular. There is a safari area featuring lions, tigers and bears, a water park, and some of the country’s most famed, lush Gardens.

The theme park is open all day for you and your friends to enjoy as you wish.  At night, the theme park will be closed down for just Unknown Events members and 100 lucky fans that won a ticket to spend the evening with their favorites.  You will be partnered with a fan to go on rides, grab a bite to eat, and take lots of photos together. 

Thursday 1/9: Day off/Travel Day bus ride from Yongin to Seoul

All your work is over and time to relax.  Grab a seat on the UE charter bus and head back to Seoul to catch your flight home.  Unless you’re staying for some vacation time- that’s always an option too! 

Friday 1/10-Saturday 1/11: Travel home

Join The Maine in Phoenix, AZ for 8123 Day on January 21st at 5pm. There will be a Make America Emo Again Emo Nite party. Also, there will be things going on online for anyone that can’t make it out.

October 31 - At Sea

Happy Halloween! Today will be full of crazy fun that you can pick and choose what to get up to.  Please wear your costume all day if you wish or have multiple costume changed! (We’ll put our selfie rule on hold today if you have a few choice looks to show off as we know some celebs dress up all week.)

Below Deck Haunted Maze: Head to the lowest part of the ship for a haunted maze that will be out any Halloween Horror Nights.  Get ready for screams, jump scares, and, of course, someone chasing you with gold scissors.

Trick-Or-Treat Carnival on Deck 13: The open area and sport courts have been transformed into a Halloween Carnival for all ages to enjoy.  There will be carnival games, face painting, fried food, and more for you to enjoy. Each booth will provide candy for any trick-or-treaters that happen to be on the ship, big or small.

Halloween Adults-Only Ball: Once it gets dark and the kids are in bed, there will be a 18+ costume party in the Grand Ball Room.  It’ll be dancing and all the other fun things people get up to tonight as we finish our crossing through the Bermuda Triangle.  Don’t be scared if the lights go out…

November 3 - At Sea

Please head up to the pool and games deck today for a Fan Appreciation Mixer. Spend the afternoon hanging out with your fans, getting to chat it up for a few hours, and playing some deck games.  You don’t have to stay the whole day, but just let your fans know you appreciate them for a few hours.

By request, our farewell party has been changed to Emo Nite in the Star Bar - since we’re all so sad to see you go.  And that’s correct, no fan will be allowed into the party.  Dance to some of your favorite throwback tunes, take over as the DJ, and dress in your fave emo wear.  

For Emo Nite: Everyone interested in attending is able to “take over” as the dj by posting songs they’d want to be played throughout the night. You can tag these songs as #ue.emonite. Our only requests are you limit the number of songs you post to 2 or 3 to give everyone a shot and try not spam the dash with reblogs of the same songs. We want this to be fun for all members, including those who may not enjoy this type of event. Please make sure to keep up with your text posts and interaction with others as well during this time!

Hey all! Here is the info for the next event. HOWEVER... we were wondering... would you rather an international tour? We’ve been in the states (kind of) the last two so weren’t sure if we should mix it up.  If so, what countries would you want to hit? Let us know in the replies! 

December 26th - January 13th :: Sand & Snow Cross Country Tour

Wanting to make sure everyone gets a chance to see their favorite bands, Unknown Events will be having a tour across the United States.  Every a different city and every show will be a bit different.  There will be concerts, VIP parties thrown by celeb hosts, panels of Q&A’s meet & greets, and a New Years Eve Resolution Rave. The tour will start in Los Angeles, CA and end in New York City.

The Ghost Ship - A Spooky Time Cruise 

October 24th 2:00pm est - November 4th 6:00pm est 

Hi all! Get packing for our first event! Unknown Events will be loading fans and celebs together on cruise ship this October for a Halloween adventure.  If that’s not spooky enough, the famed Happiness Is… Cruise Ship has been rumored to be haunted with sightings of paranormal activity on the deck at night.  Still not enough? We’ll be headed through the Bermuda Triangle for this trip. Plus trick-or-treating, a costume ball, and a haunted maze in the bottom of the ship to keep everyone entertained. 

Arriving to/Leaving the event :: You must be on the ship by 2:00pm est on October 24th.  It will be leaving the dock for the bahamas at this time, so you don’t want to miss it.  Also, the ship will arrive to it’s final destination at 6:00pm est.  This means the evening of the 3rd your muse shouldn’t be on a flight home.  

Room and Board :: All of your meals and travel are paid for. Rooms are either singles or doubles.  You may pick your own roommate or choose a single, it’s up to you.  We would love if you picked someone to room with that is not in your friend group or shipped with to help meet new muses and make friendships to last.

Tonight is Laundry Pizza Night from now till 4am:

Head over to the ballroom for a decked out pizza party.  Set up to look like you’re stepping into Laundry Pizza in Korea, there will be your classic blue tables, mirrored laundry machines, and never ending pizza.  There will be a Photo Booth in front of the Pizza wall and a photographer for you to get pics with fans as you with your slice.  As the night goes on, the DJs will play and pump some fun Kpop jams for everyone to enjoy and learn some dance moves to.

November 4 - Disembark in NYC

Recover from those hangovers, last minute pack, and say your goodbyes to your new friends - you’ll be leaving the ship this evening and headed off the Happiness Is… As they say, you don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.

ALSO - a BIG thanks to everyone that participated in our events!!! It was a great time both ic and ooc for everyone and we hope you got a lot of plotting and drama going on!  

The next event will be fairly soon so have some fun at home and doing whatever your muse gets up to, but keep in mind of the upcoming fun. This one will be a little shorter for those that want to make it back home for the American holiday. 

November 20th - 27th :: November Giving Back Charity Convention

Unknown Events will be hosting the first and hope-to-be-annual Giving Back Convention at McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, IL. Bands, TV & Film franchises, modeling agencies, etc. will have booths set up for fans to come meet them at, listen to exclusive acoustic concerts, demo songs, watch never shown before scenes and bloopers, get autographs and pictures, and more.  Plus there will be panels, parties, and adventures into the city all week long.  All proceeds from the Convention will go to the charity of the celebrities choice.   On the 26th, there will be a Friendsgiving Dinner for all to eat good food and enjoy each others company.

Here’s some more information about the ship so you know what to expect! As said previously, we are not assigning roommates so you can match up with a ship, friend, or reach out to someone random to branch out a bit and make a fun friendship (or enemy?) plot with someone you don’t know! You can check out THIS POST for anyone up to plotting and rooming with someone new. There are two or one bed rooms; you can see photos of the rooms below in this post. 

The ship is 15 decks - Deck 15 is the top deck! Here’s what’s located on each deck so you know what to get up to when stuck at sea.

Please be aware that fans will be allowed in ALL areas of the ship except Deck 11 and in the ‘Star Bar.’  Anywhere else, you may find a fan sitting down to dinner next to you, swimming up to you at the pool, or wanting to play a game of tennis.  

Kids are allowed on the cruise and but any non-service animals are not.  There is a daytime day care for kids while parents are working and a nighttime nanny service that will come to your room so you can have an Adult night out if you want to indulge.

October 28 - Nassau, Bahamas

Today is a day off for everyone.  Get off the ship and explore the exclusive beach we have designated for Unknown Event guests and members.  Just be back before the ship embarks to its next location.

Just like Florida, on one of these two days, you are expected to work.  The other day you can go explore Orlando.  You get to choose which day your muse works and what they do.  Please pick something your muse didn’t do while in Florida to give fans a new fun and exciting experience.
