A Nice & Accurate Good Omens Timeline

I'm back from the dead with a little side project! Friends over at @ineffable-detective-agency and I have compiled a handy dandy list with all the important Book Omens and Show Omens related dates. What makes this timeline nice and accurate? It has linked annotations! That's right, all blog posts and answers to asks ripe for the referencing. As well as little icons to demarcate Book timeline info from Show Timeline info. So if you've ever wondered what year the arrangement started in, or when Give me coffee or give me death took over Jon coffee, here's your answer! Good Omens Timeline

Aziraphale does not...

Aziraphale does not need to learn and see how awful Heaven is

Does not need to suffer to 'deserve' or 'match' Crowley

He suffered and cried enough (and so did Crowley)

He does not need to explain to Crowley why he spent millennia 'pretending' they are not friends, he does not need to apologise for this

Aziraphale does not need to apologise for how he'd turned Crowley away again and again, how he kept his distance, for 'you go too fast for me, all of that, was an expression of the deep love he has for the demon

And Crowley knows they can't really run away. Not for long. Not when the whole Universe is set to be destroyed when the Earth is done with. Not when they are always watched.

Aziraphale does not need to Fall to understand Crowley or be worthy to be with him or to understand anything better. Crowley is not more free than Aziraphale.

Besides, Crowley loves him as the angel he is. And Aziraphale loves Crowley exactly as he is. A demon. A demon with a soft heart.

Crowley doesn't want Aziraphale to change. And Aziraphale doesn't want Crowley to change either. (Also here and here)

BONUS

Crowley is IMO not completely self-destructing because Aziraphale left. I think he understands why he did. And I think he will help Aziraphale willingly and quickly, no apology musical or grovelling required. Because Crowley loves Earth too. Almost as much as he loves his angel.

It's not like S1 when the world was about to end and Aziraphale was gone.

Aziraphale is gone because the world is about to end. And that was the case in S1 too, Crowley just didn't know it (when he was drinking in the pub). He does now. He helped when he found out Az was back, and he will again.
