Hello all for the last time! After a bit of discussion, we’ve decided to close Unknown Events.  Things have gotten pretty inactive around here and whilst we were trying to be optimistic about the rolehogging check lighting a fire under people, it seems to have done the opposite.  

It’s been a wonderful few months getting to know you and be part of something great.  We wish you the best in your rp adventures and hope to see you around the rp community.

What happens if major award shows (i.e. Oscars, Grammys) coincide with an overseas event?

Essentially, if you want to skip the entire event. You can fill out the form found here, but we only allow a character to skip an event at most once every three events. 

If you’re interested in only missing a day or two for the event, please message us off anon to discuss it. We may allow you to attend the award show or whatever rl event your character would need to attend without actually counting towards skipping the entire event. We only ask that you contact us as soon as you can in those circumstances. We usually like a little time to discuss and it’s frustrating when the request is last minute.

Otherwise, you can also choose to have your character simply not attend the event at all, regardless of whether their real life counterpart did. 

The easiest thing, if you’re unsure about what you’d like to do, is to contact us on the mod blog and we can try to help you figure out what the best option is.

Hi all! We were going to wait till we had a chance this weekend to discuss this list and add to it or take people off, but since someone went to petty about our rolehogging issue not coming soon enough, below is the list of rolehog warnings. 

We just want to clarify as well that we do not hold roles for friends or allow them to rolehog.  We have put our friends and ourselves on activity checks and dropped them for inactivity. We do not prewarn anyone to post, tell them to go on hiatus to save a role, or any other shady mod things you can think of. 

Since we were both busy this week and have not had a time to truly look at every members blog, we are giving you a one time chance this weekend only to come to us if there is a role you want us to keep an eye on.

Also, if you give us a few hours to get off work/go to the vet, we will be available to discuss why you were on the list and how to prevent it going forward if you’d like to message us.
