not to get sentimental but literally ALL of my stylistic development in writing happened after i read bladesworn‘s the lay of a broken-winged sparrow. before i read it i was honestly so confused as to how people were inspired to create things like sure every single aspect of undertale went hard but i never really got the primal urge to do something until bladesworn stabbed me with the gleaming water-edge of the prose blade and wrote of a mortal warrior who clawed her way to ascension as a templar though sheer force of will
