So I sort of just thought of something. I know a lot of people were mad that Weiss went down so easily. But in a way it sort of makes sense when you think about it. Everyone. Ruby, Yang, Ren, Nora, hell even Jaune. Has had legit fights up until now. Yang trained with Tai and fought those bandits, team RNJR fought Grimm, and Blake was battling the White Fang. Weiss is sort of the odd man out because she hasn’t properly fought since volume 3. So she’s rusty

Well and Weiss fought a very well trained fighter. Like Vernal is a bandit who has fought all her life for survival. And like you said, she hasn’t fought much at all since Beacon fell. 

Truth is, the only member of team RWBY that has really held her own in 1v1 fights is Blake. RNJR were pretty much manhandled by Tyrian. Yang was clearly struggling with Mercury (I know she beat him in V3 but he lost on purpose). 

The truth is that when Beacon fell these kids were all just first years. They’re all outclassed right now when they get into these fights. They haven’t had time to fully grow as fighters. They’re just learning as they go but that’s hard to do when your life is on the line in every fight. They do well against Grimm, even nasty ones like the Nuckalavee. But against hunters that have honed their skills, it’s a struggle for them right now.

Why do you think it is the Black community is so homophobic? Do you think it's because of what we picked up when we were slaves?

Black men have to be hyper-masculine to survive. Due to this and a lack of proper educational resources they know very little about LGBTQ and therefore row to detest it because to be supportive would to be synonymous with being effeminate and that’s not okay because black men have to be “real niggas” 24/7. This is just my take and I could go more in depth but I don’t feel like preaching this morning.

ultra-taderdot93, one of these days if we ever get a chance to hang out, I need to show you Passing Strange. It’s soo fucking good and I want to share it with as many black people as possible. Plus it just hit me so heard because a lot of the problems we’ve talked about with the black church are addressed as well as the subject of black identify and sexuality and so much other stuff...it’s so good cousin and I want to be able to talk about with someone else who’d be able to identify with it so badly.
