Hello! 🙂 I have a new video up. In this video I share with you about my process to unblock myself artistically. After a month of battling the physical and mental blockage caused by SAD, the winter, I am now back to brushing. Winter causes me SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) which is a kind of seasonal depression due to lack of light, sun, heat and this generates a series of physical and psychological effects in which the desire and energy simply go away, in addition to many more effects. Clouds ☁️ ☁️ oil 8x10” After almost a month of being blocked I have returned to the oils more pushing myself than organically. But ALWAYS works for me in this way, I need to push though when enough is enough. I was sick to wait for it. If inspiration is not there I need to go to find it. I have struggled a lot because as you all knows I don’t have a specific style, I like many styles and for me is boring to work the same the same the same. I find pleasure in variety as long the subjects resonates with me. But my blockage was not because the style, but because the SAD and what it triggers. Yesterday I made this painting and was funny and hard, I started in one style and suddenly I was doing another one, I never knew what I wanted, I only wanted to PASS THROUGH and even if the result was not the best, this was the beginning of another step. I think I will do a video about this. 🎨. Después de casi un mes de estar bloqueada he vuelto a los óleos, más empujándome que orgánicamente. Pero SIEMPRE funciona para mí de esta manera, necesito empujar cuando ya es suficiente. Estaba harta de esperar. Si la inspiración no está allí, tengo que ir a buscarla. He batallado mucho porque como todos saben no tengo un estilo específico, me gustan muchos estilos y para mí es aburrido trabajar lo mismo lo mismo lo mismo. Encuentro placer en la variedad siempre que los temas resuenen conmigo. Pero mi bloqueo no era por el estilo, sino por el SAD y lo que desencadena.
