Yey! So happy because this painting has found a lovely home! “The awakening of Ëostre” is one of my favorite works and I remember vividly some moments about the process of this painting. So funny how now that it’s Samhain, Ēostre makes also presence. Samhain the end of the spring and beginning of the dark days or sleeping nature and Ēostre, the beginning of Spring and new life. I think this is a reminder to be aware of the cycle of life, nothing ends but changes, nothing dies but reborn, nature teach us that TIME is just another master. Tan gracioso como ahora que es Samhain, Ēostre también hace presencia. Samhain el final de la primavera y el comienzo de los días oscuros o la naturaleza dormida y Ēostre, el comienzo de la primavera y la nueva vida. Work in process 🌻 Time to get back to the painting. After the holidays I have been working daily but yesterday I finally took a break, I’m still lazy and trying to channel and organize my energy and activities. As the power went down due the winds, I have been without electricity for almost the whole day. This also made me stop…and I went straight to the carbs 😂 eating carbs and sugars as a goodbye because I know I need to restart myself and by Monday I shall be right again with my daily routines, meanwhile I have continued with the sunflowers, I don’t feel very active to paint but I know a small advance makes a difference. So this weekend I will enjoy myself…the last days of procrastination. 🌻. . Trabajo en proceso 🌻 Es hora de volver a la pintura. Después de las vacaciones he estado trabajando todos los días pero ayer por fin me tomé un descanso, sigo con flojera y tratando de canalizar y organizar mi energía y actividades. Como se cortó la luz debido a los vientos, he estado sin electricidad durante casi todo el día. Esto también me hizo parar…y me fui directo a los carbohidratos 😂 comiendo carbohidratos y azúcares como despedida porque sé que necesito reiniciarme y para el lunes estaré bien con mis rutinas diarias, mientras tanto he seguido con los girasoles. No me siento con mucho humor para pintar, pero sé que un pequeño avance hace la diferencia. Hello! 🙂 I have a new video up. In this video I share with you about my process to unblock myself artistically. After a month of battling the physical and mental blockage caused by SAD, the winter, I am now back to brushing. Winter causes me SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) which is a kind of seasonal depression due to lack of light, sun, heat and this generates a series of physical and psychological effects in which the desire and energy simply go away, in addition to many more effects.
