concept: Frisk reset so many times that the timeline reset and most roles got juggled in the process. Sans is the caretaker of the ruins, Papyrus and Alphys are the same, Undyne is princess and Gerson is king, Toriel and Asgore live a peaceful life in waterfall, Frisk and Monster kid are together and have a kid, Hapstablook and Napstablook live in basically the same positions, though Mad Mew Mew takes Mettaton’s place…

Also frisk is an adult and the bartender and grillby is the snowdin shopkeep. Where’s the shopkeeper bunny? She’s head of the Royal Keepers, the substitute for the royal guard. She and her fellow Keepers guard Gerson’s health.

Dogamy and Dogaressa are in the place of the two gay guards, who swapped with them.

Doggo is off living his best life at the head of one of the Royal Keepers subdivisions (illness detection)

Lesser dog and Greater dog maintain a few shops here and there, including running the business side of Mad Mew Mew’s corporate empire.

Nice cream guy and Burger pants are dating and they live in waterfall in the same town as Toriel, Asgore, and the Blooks.

The patience soul took Frisk’s place as the 7th human. Frisk can no longer reset. Chara is missing.

The 5 other humans are also alive and living peacefully amongst monsters.

But is it really the best timeline? Is everyone really happy?

* notes:

- Frisk is amab gnc, and dresses in whatever presentations they feel.

- Monster kid and Frisk’s kid was surrogated by an outside mother, and is legally theirs.

- Frisk refers to their bun as a “them-bun”

- Monster kid remains cis masc, but is open to whatever his family wants him to do when they’re playing pretend and such. He’s a good dad, albeit a bit nervous.

You woke up to pots and pans clanging around. You were startled to find yourself tucked in on the couch, that's what sans had called it. You got up and followed the noise to a kitchen where you saw Papyrus cooking something. Looking at your surroundings, you noticed their kitchen was much different than the one from your home. There were cabinets and pots and kettles which were the same but instead of cooking over an open fire, Papyrus was cooking on this strange thing.

"What is that?" you asked curiously.

"WHAT'S WHAT, HUMAN?" Papyrus asked you back, looking at you quizzically.

"That!" You pointed at the strange counter he was cooking on.

"....THIS IS A STOVE, HUMAN." Papyrus told you confused, but you were fascinated.

"How does it cook!?" You walked over excitedly to learn. You spotted the microwave and looked over at the skeleton.

"Is it like the microwave?"

"UM..NO? KINDA? NO! A STOVE HAS A STOVE TOP WITH BURNERS THAT COOKS THE FOOD. YOU CAN TURN THE FIRE UP AND DOWN TO COOK WITH THE FIERY PASSION OF YOUR SOUL! THEN THERE'S THE OVEN, I…I DON'T USE IT A WHOLE LOT THOUGH BUT SANS WILL USE IT FROM TIME TO TIME!"

"How magical!!! Your kind is so much more advanced than the people at my village!" You exclaimed as you watched Papyrus cook on the stove. "We have to cook over open fire to make good food and y’all have this magical thing!" you clapped suddenly and then felt embarrassed. Why did you do that?

"...HUMAN..IM CONFUSED…THE LAST HUMAN…FRISK WHO FELL DOWN KNEW ALL ABOUT THIS STUFF…AND THEY WERE A CHILD. HOW COME YOU AS AN ADULT HUMAN DO NOT KNOW?" Papyrus questions you and you freeze.

Oh yea…the previous conversations with Sans came to your head.

"Sans has a…theory,'' you said. “He thinks that when the core, whatever that is, malfunctioned, it moved the Underground through time in different periods…He thinks when it broke, it moved the Underground to my time period, 10XX." You explained the best you could. Papyrus seemed frozen in place and shock filled his eyelights.

Were you not supposed to tell him?

"HUMAN THAT'S CRAZY! THAT WOULD MEAN WE ARE ONLY 200 YEARS FROM THE MONSTER HUMAN WAR!" he exclaimed in disbelief.

You frowned

"155 years..I’m not 26 yet.." You muttered.

"IS THAT WHY YOUR CLOTHES ARE SO OUT OF FASHION?! WHAT IS YOUR SURFACE LIKE!? DO Y’ALL HAVE ELECTRICITY AT ALL?! WHAT ABOUT UNDERWEB AND GHOSTTUBE!? SPIDERTOK!?" His questions gave you a headache. What was he talking about? Why would you want a spider tok? Was it an animal? Why would you want a ghost in a tube?

"I WOULD LIKE VERY MUCH TO HAVE THAT ALL BACK. AFTER THE CORE EXPLODED, WE MONSTERS LOST UNDERWEB AND EVERYTHING..FRISK SAID THEY HAD STUFF SIMILAR TO IT. ARE YOU TELLING ME YOUR SURFACE HAS NONE OF THIS!?"

"Um.. I don't know what any of that is…."

"Human…..HOW CAN YOU LIVE WITHOUT IT!?"

"..I never had it before till now?" you questioned. Was that even true? You had been in the Underground before so maybe you had…Perhaps you were just too young to remember having it at all.

"bro, you're gonna break the human if you keep this up."

You and Papyrus seemed to both tense up at Sans voice. You felt fear course through you as you remembered what he did to those other monsters…Sure he protected you…but he didn't need to kill them…

"I WAS JUST CURIOUS SANS…'' Papyrus muttered, going back to cooking. He was quiet and you didn't feel like it was right.

"heh..I know bro.." Sans muttered back. You could feel the tension build so thickly you could choke on it. You swore it was so thick you could take a sword and cut through it to make bricks and build an entire castle out of it. You didn't like how thick the tension and awkwardness had built up.

"SO! About fixing everything!" You clapped nervously, catching Sans’ attention. That unwavering eyelight now on you made you freeze. You now felt uncertain that you even wanted to talk to Sans at all but you did promise to fix things and you had to fulfill it.

"How do we do that!?" You asked him. You watched Sans sigh and nodded to the table and you followed him over there and sat down.

"wait here." And you just watched him VANISH. You sputtered and stared at where he was in utter shock.

"He vanished!"

"OH THAT'S JUST SANS’ MAGIC…HE'S SO LAZY!" Papyrus spoke out and you could hear a bit of irritation in his voice.. You felt like sweating.

"I'm sorry" You said loudly for him to hear. You heard the scattering of items stop for a minute.

"WHAT FOR?" he asked, he sounded confused.

"For what happened last night…I'm sorry"

There was a pause of silence from both of you and you heard a sigh.

"IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT HUMAN…YOU CAN'T CONTROL SANS' ACTIONS…NO ONE CAN." You could hear the sadness from Papyrus and you had a feeling this was going on for years. You felt guilty. Had you remembered, you could have helped them. But would they even be here if you had? Sans said the underground must've moved through time. Had you remembered and came to help, would they just be gone?

"I should've stopped him." You spoked and you heard another sigh.

"DON'T BE FOOLISH. YOU COULDN'T HAVE. IT WOULD'VE ONLY GOTTEN YOU KILLED HUMAN. I SHOULD'VE STOPPED HIM. I AM HIS BROTHER AND I SHOULD'VE STEPPED UP AND TOLD HIM TO STOP…BUT I DIDN'T." Papyrus went on and you heard things move around in the kitchen. "BUT I DIDN'T BECAUSE THAT'S HOW THINGS ARE DOWN HERE NOW. YOU LISTEN TO THE LEADERS AND IF YOU GO AGAINST THEM, YOU DIE…IF YOU DON'T EAT THEN YOU GET EATEN DOWN HERE. SANS WAS JUST DOING WHAT THE QUEEN WOULD'VE DONE JUST AT A MUCH SMALLER SCALE…"

"The queen?" you asked.

"...YES.. QUEEN UNDYNE.. IF YOU GO AGAINST HER, YOU ARE A TRAITOR AND YOU WILL BE DUSTED…BUT UNLIKE SANS, UNDYNE WILL DUST ENTIRE VILLAGES NOT JUST A COUPLE OF VILLAGE IDIOTS…HOTLAND IS A GOOD EXAMPLE….SANS AND I ARE ANOTHER EXAMPLE…PUBLIC EXAMPLES…"

You felt sick suddenly. This queen had hurt Sans and Papyrus?

"What….how?" You muttered out the question and you heard Papyrus sniffle a bit. Was he crying?

"YOU NOTICED SANS’ SKULL? IT WASN'T ALWAYS LIKE THAT HUMAN"

You had a deep feeling it wasnt indeed always like that. You had memories, it wasn't gashed open like that.

"WHEN THE CORE EXPLODED, QUEEN UNDYNE TRIED EVERYTHING TO FIX IT AND SANS WORKED DAY IN AND NIGHT OUT COMING UP WITH WAYS YO FIX THE CORE…HE WAS A SCIENTIST THAT WORKED ON IT BEFORE…I NEVER SEEN HIM WORK SO HARD BEFORE BUT THEN ONE DAY, HE LEFT TO TAKE THE PLANS TO FIX THE CORE TO UNDYNE. IT HAD ANGERED HER AND SHE ATTACKED HIM..SHE TRIED TO DUST HIM! SHE SHATTERED HIS SKULL BUT FOR SOME REASON MY BROTHER DIDN'T DUST AWAY…WHICH IS A MIRACLE CONSIDERING HOW LOW OF AN HP HE HAS! BUT…..IT FOREVER CHANGED SANS…HE WASN'T ALWAYS SO… SO… MONSTROUS YOU KNOW? HE WAS FUN AND KIND AND LIGHTHEARTED. SURE HE HAD ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION BUT HE NEVER RESORTED TO VIOLENCE AS THE ANSWER. HE USED TO BREAK UP BAR FIGHTS AND GET MONSTERS TO TALK IT OUT! NOW…..HE JUST LETS THEM FIGHT…AND IF THEY GO AGAINST HIM OR HARASS ME HE DUSTS THEM…" Papyrus explained and you felt your soul squeeze in sadness for the tall skeleton. He really does love his brother..and yet he seems so heartbroken to what Sans is now.

"THEN AFTER HE CAME HOME WITH THAT HOLE IN HIS SKULL AND ORDERED FOR US TO EAT HUMANS, I WENT TO UNDYNE ABOUT HER BEHAVIOR….SHE WAS ONCE MY BEST FRIEND HUMAN…BUT SHE LASHED OUT AT ME AND ATTACKED ME! SAYING SOMETHING THAT IT FAILED ON SANS BUT IT MUST WORK ON ME…SHE TRIED TO SHOVE SOMETHING IN MY EYE SOCKETS BUT WHEN I FOUGHT BACK SHE BEGAN TO……TO….STOMP ON ME…SANS STOPPED HER AND BROUGHT ME BACK HOME…LOTS OF MONSTERS TRIED TO HEAL ME BUT…" There were more sniffles and you quickly got up and rushed over to him and hugged him tightly. You felt him stiffen up but returned the hug..

"they couldn't heal my spine……they couldn't heal my jaw….i look like this because she tried to kill me…"

You felt your soul crack as Papyrus sobbed as he hugged you tight. You hugged him back even tighter.

"I’m so sorry Papyrus…I'm so sorry!" you exclaimed, soothing him, trying to make his pain go away. You felt so sick to your stomach. Who would be so cruel to do this?! What madness must plague you to try to kill your friends…..but that was just it wasn't it? Madness…

You watched Sans kill his fellow villagers without any remorse…It didn't even look like he had even thought about taking a different approach. He had only done what seemed to be the exact same thinking that caused him and Papyrus this great pain. You held Papyrus apologizing for his pain, wishing you could've helped them, preventing this from happening. Oh how you wished you could stop what had happened to him from ever happening.You wished you could go back in time to stop what happened to the monsters from happening. But you couldn't. So instead you held the sobbing skeleton close. You noticed a small pot of dead plants on a shelf over the sink and you got an idea. You could bring something lovely to Papyrus.

"Can you get me that pot please?" you asked and heard him move and sniffle.

"Of dead plants?" He asked, his voice still so quiet.

"Yes!"

"But human…why? They're dead!" Papyrus asked, wiping away at his sockets.

"I want to show you something!" you insisted and you watched Papyrus move away from you and grabbed it and handed the pot to you confused. You grinned at the skeleton. You felt so positive you could do something to lift his sorrow mood. You took the pot and held a hand over it.

Doing something to cheer for the Papyrus filled you with kindness.

Your hand bursted with a bright green and you were surprised because you never had your plant magic be so bright and colorful before but you focused, eyeing the plant you thought of what plant to replace the dead one. You wanted it to be bright, bright as the sun and as citrusy as Papyrus seemed to smell like. You had the perfect plant in mind and you focused on the thought, watching the dead plant turn into dust and fall into the planting soil you watched as sprouts burst from the soil and grew green stems radiating with life as they grew big and tall with leaves bulbs forming at the top and you heard papyrus gasp as the buds exploded open in bright colors of yellow and orange giving off a new flare of life itself. Marigolds, such beautiful and cheerful flowers indeed. You moved your hand away, the magic surrounding it fading as you handed the flower pot of marigolds to Papyrus.

"For you!"

You watched as Papyrus's eyelights were wide as he took the flower pot from you. The surprise on his face and the dazzlement made you a little nervous.

"Do you not like them?"

"HUMAN, YOU HAVE MAGIC!?" he exclaimed, staring at you. "O-OH I LOVE THEM HUMAN BUT HOW!? I NEVER SEEN KINDNESS MAGIC EVER DO THIS!"

"Kindness magic?" You asked him confusedly. "I don't have kindness magic, I have plant magic!"

"NO HUMAN! GREEN MAGIC IS KINDNESS MAGIC ITS USED TO HEAL OTHERS BUT YOU GREW PLANTS!"

"I've always been able to grow plants…I didn't know I could heal people….Could I heal you and Sans!?" You asked, feeling a bit of excitement. Maybe this is your chance to fix things. Perhaps you could heal Papyrus's spine and teeth and then heal Sans’ skull. Perhaps you can heal all the monsters. Maybe this was your purpose.

"i don't even think you are that strong to fix us, kid." Sans voice echoed from the kitchen door and you looked over to see Sans was also staring at the flower pot.

"BROTHER, DID YOU SEE WHAT THE HUMAN DID!?" AREN'T THEY BEAUTIFUL!? WHY I NEVER SEEN SUCH A THING DONE WITH GREEN MAGIC BEFORE!" Papyrus said cheerily as he put the live flowers back on the shelf. "OH THANK YOU HUMAN! I PROMISE I WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF THEM!"

You're welcome Papyrus." You told him back with a kind smile before you noticed Sans nodding at you to follow him and you began to walk to him.

"i'm taking the human on a walk bro. we will be back soon." Sans announced before heading to the front door. You followed him out when he threw something at you. Once you pulled it off your face, you realized it was his jacket.

"put that on so I don’t gotta hear you complain when you get cold." Sans huffed at your surprise at him. You gave him a weak smile as you put on the coat….It turned out to be more of a robe on you, going way past your knees and you had to roll up the sleeves. But it was warm even though it smelled of dust and that sauce Sans called ketchup.

Sans began to lead you out of the town and you followed him, glancing nervously as monsters glared at you but none of them made a move. Sans example is still fresh in their minds as much as it was in yours it seemed. Once y’all got out of the village and into the forest you began to relax some.

"so before I had killed you, the magic in the tree branch and the vines, that was all you?" Sans questioned you and you looked at him. All he was wearing was a white shirt and his black and white short pants and his weird fuzzy pink shoes. You didn't notice how weirdly he had dressed before until now.

"Yes." you answered as you began to look around the forest. The wind on your nose made you feel grateful. Sans took pity and gave his jacket to you even if it was only for his own gain to keep you from complaining. It was nice of him.

"so you really control plants. you can just grow anything?"

You frowned at his question and answered truthfully.

"I can't just grow anything…I came to the mountain to see if I had a connection to it since its where my family had found me…Believe it or not, I am not very powerful with magic as my family or the other students at the academy is…I can grow plants, yes, but only a little at a time or I get exhausted too fast…I narrowly escaped you and I was so tired that I slept in wet clothes. I can grow vines and flowers but it's rare that I get the ones I want to grow. I'm surprised I even got the flowers right and not something different." you explained.

"so you can't just grow food.'' Sans said. He seemed annoyed.

"I can't grow a normal garden, if that's what you're expecting. I can grow berries, if I have seeds, or dead plants to focus my magic on. If it's a berry I can grow it..if its flowers I can grow them and if it's vines, I can grow them. But I can't grow trees or a harvest of vegetables….Trust me I have tried." You said disappointedly. Back home, the academy had tried to find you a place where you could contribute to the village. They had thought that since you could grow plants, you could benefit farmers but you had only destroyed half of their crops when you used your magic on them to speed up the harvest..

Corn had turned to lilies, potatoes sprouted into prickly vines, and the apple trees.. oh the apple trees had turned into overgrown sunflowers. The academy quickly removed you from the fields and had you practice at home with your own garden but it had always led to failure which is why your mother had supported you to return to the mountain to see if you were connected to it

…little did she know you were but differently than just plants.

"Great so you're a mage who can't even use their full potential." Sans scoffed and you felt annoyed this time.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know I needed to prepare to fall down a mountain into a fallen society." You snapped back. Your sudden boost of confidence was cut short when you noticed Sans was looking at you, sockets voided his eyelight and his face was in an angry look. You felt that familiar fear course through your soul.

Sans let out a huff and looked away from you. His eyelight returned back and you felt yourself calm down again.

"look kid. we're dying down here. there's no food and the rations we saved to pass out are gone. in four days, Snowdin’s gonna realize that we have no rations to give out and the only source of food there will be are humans falling down or whatever animals we can find. we were already barely managing to make due with rations cut down to a fourth per monster plus human meat. now it's just gonna be human meat and starvation. seeing you do that little plant trick to Papyrus and actually controlling it…i figured if i ripped up the flooring in my shed to the dirt, you could just go in there and do ya magic and i wouldn't have to worry about Papyrus going hungry for longer than a week. plus, now we gotta worry about you now too." Sans explained and you were starting to really see the bigger painting than what you had thought it was before.

"hate to say it kid, but you're just another mouth i really don't know how to feed. you can't eat human meat……well you could but i dont think cannibalism is very healthy for humans. so growing food would show that you were valuable to the other monsters and would keep them from attacking you much and it would be a good way of you pulling your weight and feeding yourself so i wouldn't have to worry about my brother starving more just so he can make sure you eat."

You felt extremely guilty. How could you not have thought about this before? Flowley had even told you the monsters were starving. Sans had KILLED you to eat and feed the monsters. You, in that moment felt so stupid for forgetting that you were technically food to the monsters and Sans had went out on a limb to keep you safe from being eaten. You felt like an idiot for not realizing how strained Papyrus looked when he was looking around for things to make food….something to eat…something for YOU to eat.

"I can try! If anything, there are a lot of berries to eat.." You quickly said.

"well it's a fruit..that can work for now" Sans nodded and soon you arrived at his stand.

You watched him walk in and then come out with a rusty sledgehammer.

"so you need seeds?" he chimed as he began to lead you back home….to his house.

"It would be very helpful." you answered him.

"i'm sure i can cash in some payments." he said but a shutter rushed through you.

"Please don't kill anyone!" you exclaimed quickly. Sans looked at you and you nervously looked at him.

"Please.. Just don’t kill anyone..There are other ways to act. I'm not mad at the monsters for getting angry..You can't be mad at them either. Wouldn't you do the same in their shoes? Please…have some mercy on them?" you begged him.

Sans looked away from you and sighed.

"i'll see what i can do, kid."

The small but essential Temmie is present in this Au!!!

After graduating from college, she earned her graphic design degree. After that she invested her money in a store in Warterfall where she would get her official merchandise... none other than her favorite hero Tamara and her team of Revenants protecting the island. Yes... I know what everyone thinks (fangirl)

Despite almost having a nervous breakdown, Temmie obtained consent and permission from Tamara and her team to display her special merchandise since it was themed about them. Although they only did it to avoid further harassment from her since it was very uncomfortable for them that she appeared out of nowhere all over the Tree House where they lived.

Although it doesn't bother Tamara, she actually enjoys her company every time Temmie comes to see her, or she herself goes to Temmie'Shop to see how her business is going. Since during that harassment she couldn't resist opening the door and inviting her to eat cookies. something that for Temmie was a dream come true to be with her Hero. Thus creating a friendship.

(How sweet Tamara. She never denies the affection of her fans).

Curiosities:

1- She created a Tamara fan club where her members are only P | Bob and Toby (Who is P's pet! _____)

2- she has heterochromia

3- Her Cap with her flowers refers to the Cap of Tuyoki (Temmie) Chang's avatar.

4- In her store you will mainly see t-shirts, keychains, Mini action figures of Tamara and her team.

5- It is known that she is making her own fan comic based on the Adventures of Tamara since she has published things on her blog.

6- Temmie has Tamara x Dereck comics mini fanship on UnderWeb. Although she is embarrassed to read it, she enjoys it. since she sees Temmie as having a creative and somewhat peculiar mind when it comes to writing these things.

7- her fanaticism for them occurred. One day Tamara saved her life and her final university project that she did for 2 weeks without a break. In memory of that day she took a photo all nervous being carried by Tamara minutes after almost being destroyed by Eliz the fifth Revenant.

8- After becoming Tamara's number 1 fan. she celebrates the international day of determination "She invented it xd". where she herself holds a mini convention in Tamara's name. (In fact, Tamara participated in the first convention since she promised him days before where she saw a cute Temmie with a letter asking her to go)

9- After so many years she received a gift from Tamara on her 24th birthday. Nothing more nor less than the stick (from Tamara) with which she hit P! Emperor Gaster in the ribs xd the first time . something that seems simple and ordinary (But for Temmie it was the best, so much so that that day she hugged Tamara through tears and promised to take care of her with her life).

Los Angeles. Not that far, really. And the files she had seen last night at the internet cafe had piqued her interest enough to check it out for herself. She had printed it out; she knew better than to carry those documents on phones connected to the internet. Call her paranoid, but she preferred the old-fashioned way to stay off grid. And with a fish this big, she might need to be extra careful.

Of course most people in the conspiracy underweb would consider "people with powers" to be the result of too much fiction, a nice fantasy. But after the things Serenity had seen, she hoped this would lead her to some answers.

It was her first time in Los Angeles and it weren't easy to find someone in it. Like a needle in a haystack. But she knew were to start - HYBRID. Hidden in plain sight. Cars drove in and out and she waited until she noticed the rhythm, the pattern of office workers and cleaners and janitors.

Until there was one that didn't fit in. There wasn't much more she'd find out by looking today, so she revved her engine and followed the car.

What made you pick up this character?

I already had my eye on him when his leaks were first coming out. His design felt interesting and the gambler idea was appealing (also knew that he was going to be a boss fight so my eyes were on him as a villain at first). It was only when there started to be more about his personality that it kicked off and when 2.1 dropped I was completely won over. This scene sold me and I knew I was going to write him from then on.

9. Have you tweaked the character from canon? If so, what did you tweak?

Already answered here. But I can add more! I'm also making him lean more towards the business cut throat/spy lifestyle. Like sure, it's already been mentioned that he does crazy schemes and that he goes through great lengths to achieve results but I'm also applying that for his life outside of work. He keeps check of his appearance, he keeps track of brands and fads around the cosmos. This is a socialite that networks not only to get the best deals but also the best insights into the underweb to know exactly what's going on so that he knows what cards to use when the time comes. Aventurine is a smart man, although luck helps him (but I will argue about this on a later post) he does a lot of preparation work for his schemes to follow script. A feat like this isn't achieved just by playing a casual business man, he mingles with the crowds and gets the necessary information to make his bets. It's premeditated in such a way that it's impossible for the outcome to be none other than what he planned it to be.

20. If you could sum up your character with one sentence, what would it be?

Already answered here but this one comes from a book I've been reading that i felt appropriate given the last quest "Even death, faced with the option of death or life, she would choose life."

Bit of both! I found some odd blueprints in the dump and used whatever I could find there or buy to put it together, she only fell apart a few times thankfully, think I posted a copy of the blueprints somewhere on the underweb so others could do the same
