idk how to be gentle with myself, and i don't know how to take care of others. i've killed every plant i've had. idk how to talk to small children. i've spent so much of my life alone and although i know i'm fortunate in so many ways, other people have always felt so far away, i struggle to reach others and they struggle to reach me. i care about people deeply internally but i don't think in the way of "communities" or "families" or "unitedness" i never belonged in my own family truly and my way of navigating life is i would say is self-focused. not intentionally. i would love to be a part of something, that's actually been a motivating factor in my life for ages. but its almost like my head is in a bubble. i don't know how to get out. sometimes the internet feels like the only way out or the only way to connect with people, but its such a surface level version of that feeling but i guess safer in its unreality. that being said, i could have multiple irl friends reaching out to me or actively trying to care for me, and i still feel this way. i don't know how to take care of people and they don't know how to take care of me. everything feels like a coping mechanism for deep seated loneliness and it doesnt matter whos around me. i don't have crazy aspirations for my life anymore, but i just wish i could feel like a normal person, experience a normal healthy love, feel joy normally. i'm just starting to feel like i was born glitched, but again i sound like i think i'm a victim, i don't. i just want to change but at this rate i'm not sure if its possible. idk. hahaha. whatever

Oh no! Don't ask me to screen write! Lol I have enough trouble with normal writing.

But honestly, if I was in charge of THG new adaptation, I would start with fleshing out more of the character development and writing scenes that showed the evolution of the characters and their relationships. That was one thing I always respected about Jen and Josh from the movies. They got the feel of Peeta and Katniss right. I liked how the actors from the original movies embodied the characters so well and I would go for that feeling, but MORE. The script left out a lot of their relationship building but the energy of Peeta and Katniss' love and friendhip, their need to protect each other, their unitedness, their devotion to eachother when it counted most, was still there. Which, thank God, because without that the movies would have fallen apart.

I think if I were writing a screenplay, I would want to recapture that energy. The way they grow in tune with each other so effortlessly. The deep bond they develop. I would focus on making that apparent. I'd try to write more scenes from District 12 (working on the plant book and such) and from the victory tour (all those nights spent holding each other (even if it was just platonically, it still really means a fucking lot to help keep someone's nightmares at bay) and I would probably explore other parts of the story. Like I'd write subplots for Haymitch and the other Victors, I'd write more about The Hawthornes, I'd write more Prim and Katniss' mother, heck I'd even write about Darius and Purnia and the other peacekeepers. Also I'd definitely do a Gale/Madge little side love story... tragic but hot and maybe slightly sweet.

Yeah, don't put me in charge of a screenplay. I'll just turn it into fucking fanfiction where no body dies and everyone gets their happy ending because I'm weak like that.

As a collaborator I felt that I had leadership skills as my strengths to start off something by having a conversation with my group members first on how our theme social media can be like . I initiated doing the mind map to help my group visualise better. As from week 1 , mind mapping helped in generating creative ideas.After discussing further together we came into the idea of a globe to represent how social media is used around the world & the positive sides of it with giving all my group members roles on what they can do . Personally my weakness is lacking confidence in myself when it comes to idea thinking.I want to improve to not judge my ideas way before I even display them while also having better time management in such a short period of time to be able to produce a better piece of monument. In this way , it will help me to gain more creative ideas from my teamates and learn from each other through our ideas.

If you had more time and an unlimited budget, how would you design the monument differently? Include pictures of the group work, and your personal re-design.

I felt the monument could have been bigger and i could have bring in more materials for it to have been better visually.However if i were to improve the monument, it will have an opening at the bottom of the base where if it is placed at a location in the city centre people would be able to walk through and see the inside of it. As its focused on the pros of social media ,i would like to be visual with the redesign in showing connectedness and unitedness.
