What inspired the founders of Chhaaon to start this urban greening initiative?

Chhaaon, an urban greening initiative in Karachi, was founded by architect and landscape architect Komal Parvez. The organization was officially launched on September 19, 2020, at the Quaid-e-Azam’s Mazar, with the aim of improving public spaces in Karachi in collaboration with municipal authorities.
