Hi again, I’ve got another issue I’d like your input on. During my first 2 years of high school I RP'ed with an acquaintance of mine and during that time, it was my only coping method plus it made me feel happy and comforted.

Then our differences clashed so much we had no choice but to stop. I didn’t beg for her to continue or anything but I couldn’t find anyone else. And my mental health, social health, physical health and ect have gone down hill since.

Just as a clarification, I somewhat quickly became suicidal, then eventually became delusional (going from suicidal to homicidal and vice versa) before I was hospitalized and put on meds which stopped my suicidal ness and my delusions induced by suicidal feelings.

But I’ve never felt happy or comforted or anything since it stopped.

I’m getting back into the same anime (kids at my college are into it) and I decided to contact her again, which is okay so far.

I just want to know if I should ask her to commence the RP'ing or try again to find another person or give up on RP'ING​ entirely.

I sometimes RP with my friends, and it can be a great way to distract yourself from the things that are going on in your life that might be harmful to you. I know it can be disappointing when they stop as well.

I'm sorry to hear that you had your coping method taken away! Even when people don't mean to, their actions can affect us in ways that we have to learn how to deal with.

As far as contacting your friend to see if she is willing to rp again, that depends. Do you feel that same level of closeness that you did before? Would you be able to cope if she were to say no? The answer to these questions will determine if you should contact her to rp again or not.

I would also take some time to consider what made you clash so much in the first place. How do you know that won't happen again? Would you be okay if it did happen? If not, it might hurt you if you were to try to RP with her again.

One thing that might be helpful to you is trying to RP with multiple people. Depending on how much you get into it, you might be able to rp with as many as 3 or 4 people at a time. That can be helpful to you because then your mental health doesn't depend completely on just one person being able to rp with you at any time. Even if the two of you aren't clashing, sometimes things come up in your life or in their life that makes it difficult to work on the rp at any given time.

Whatever you choose, you don't have to give up on RP'ing completely. There are several websites and forums where you can rp with other people. I know there are also a lot of tumblrs looking for people to rp with. I can't guarantee that people will be able to rp the anime that you're looking for, but they might be okay to have you rp that character while they rp one that isn't from that anime. If you're okay with that, then finding people to rp with online is something that could help you meet your needs.

this blog’s url is actually my favorite out of all my blogs so i’m hyped to talk about this real quick

“eru” is the japanese pronunciation of L. the japanese word “modoki” is directly untranslatable, but it’s used after a noun to express that the formerly used word is not entirely correct. in example the phrase “usagi modoki” would translate to something along the lines of “that sort of rabbit thing” or “that thing that looks like a rabbit”

so my url “eru modoki” then roughly translates along the lines of “something like L” or “something that looks like L” which i think is incredibly fitting for beyond birthday :’)

anyway, i discovered the term “modoki” while over-analyzing noiz’s (@unruhc) allmate (it’s called usagimodoki lmao). as i was thinking of a url for b the word just kinda popped back into my mind. my original url for b before my remake (because this blog here is actually a remake of @m-odoki-archived) was literally just m-odoki, which i still think is just as fitting for b as erumodoki is.
