Surviving Summer - Adopt A Sim Challenge by @powersocial

The Watcher will just be playing this out quick and dirty offline - with some highlights and life stage summary posts.

Vladislaus Straud was positively delighted to hear that a single young woman had moved to Forgotten Hollow. It wasn't ideal, certainly. That gender was on the whole far less gullible than men. You could pretty much look as dastardly as you pleased and call out from a nearby party bush "oh, gaze here upon this strange thing that I found!" only to have three of the fools descend upon you with nary a second thought.

Still, it would be useful to have a meal nearby.

His delight turned to absolute frustration when he called upon her residence (t'was the neighbourly thing to do) and found that she had one of those ex-objects with her. Well, that was inconvenient. He couldn't very well drink from a blood bag that had a highly dependent future blood bag to take care of. That was simply uneconomical.

He had consoled himself with this news that he would not be able to sample local produce quite yet when suddenly...

An attack of invisible killer dust bunnies!

Really, he blamed the Watcher for purchasing that one kit in a weaker moment. Trust mortals to spend money on virtual chores that they simply couldn't be bothered to tend to in the real world. Was it any wonder that his ilk were far superior?

"Aren't you going to plead for her life?" demanded the nearby fishperson.

"Grim is inevitable," replied Vlad. For their kind, at least.

As Grim adjusted his ledger, Vlad couldn't help but wonder: what if he took in Summer? He had been considering a cat, after all, and infants were little different - possibly even a shade less demanding, in his experience. It was simply a matter of feeding and watering them. And if she grew to be too vexing, he could always toss her off to an orphanage once she reached the ex-ex-ex-object stage where she could essentially fend for herself.

And what was the life of a mortal but the blink of an eye to him, a brief slumber?

"Let's take you home then, Infant Inconvenience, shall we?"

As this fragile creature, so exuding of warmth and innocence and sunshine in spite of what had passed, nestled in still closer, in spite of what he was, Vlad couldn't help but feel somewhat... protective.

Current Household 🪄

So while i was trying to develop things outside of the main household, Rudy and Marceline got engaged. I didn't get to take screenshots of that I plan to take wedding pictures whenever that is.

Anyways once again thank you @seyvia for Summer! I literally love her so much! I have so much planned!! 🩷 (also this will be a long-ish post sorry!)

Summer finally was able to sit up, so she finally got to try something other than a bottle. She really loves yogurt and bananas apparently lol.

In between parenting Rudy worked a lot on her painting skill.

At some point like a few days later, Rudy and Marceline decided to head up to visit Rudy's mom Trudy. They chatted with her and her girlfriend Sienna Grove. Sienna went to bed like right after I started to take screenshots rip. While Rudy's dad Brody came by to watch Summer (no pictures of him yet, but he exists!)

At some point Marcy and Rudy decided to go get cozy in the rain for some reason??

Before they left Trudy and Sienna went to bed. Ugh I love them so much! Idk how much they'll be making appearances, but I think they're neat!

The next day while Marceline was at work Rudy was being really cute with Summer. Literally Summer is everything to me. Her moms love her so much! 😭🩵

So not much has really happened in terms of updating, but I don't usually play with families like this in general. But I can't get enough of them!❤️

🍒 FIRST GROUP OUTING | CHERISHING CHERRY

Cherry threw a "party" at the park so everyone could get out and get to know each other better! The date started with Matt making tons of food because Cherry was just a bit peckish. That's love right there!

Nikolas was not feeling the park today, it's hot and he'd rather be by the pool

Cherry asked Terrance about his daughter so Terrance whipped his phone out to share some photos of his little girl with her. Cherry would just love to meet her one day soon!

While Matt and Cherry were trying their best at chess, Billy came over and flirted with MATT instead of CHERRY lmfao like boy what xD

Nearing the end of the day, Cherry wasn't feeling too hot... so she complained to Wesley about the heat for 20 minutes

Up next to meet Cherry is Micheal!!!! Cherry's first impression of him is that he's reasonable.. okay. They also have bad compatibility, dammit. Doesn't mean they can't get along! Although, Micheal thinks she egocentric... he's not wrong!! Cherry perceives Micheal as very attractive and he finds her extremely attractive!

Nikolas is 5th in line to meet Cherry. She thinks he's immature... and you aren't, lady????? please. Nikolas thinks Cherry is independent and capable! The two have good compatibility; Cherry perceives him as very attractive and he thinks she's extremely attractive!

Next is sweet Terrance who's a bit of a celebrity! Cherry was excited to meet him. Her first impression of him is that he's immature... ugh GIRL. Terrance thinks she's egocentric! They both have good compatibility and think each other is very attractive. It's a bonus that Terrance has a nice butt!!!!!!

i will be doing this cute challenge by @seyvia where i take in little baby Summer and raise her; but, i apparently hate myself bc i thought it would be a cool idea to give Summer an 'opposite twin' named Winter, so now i have two infants 😭😂 send me help also i rolled the dynamic and got wealthy/baddie/monochromatic, which i decided to do with Kamilla lol
