kamisama iutoori had the chance to make the ending even more gay and still make sense im mad they didnt.

So basically, instead of ushimitsu deciding to wait for akashi as the game master after turning time back, he would instead erase his own memories and take away his powers(which im sure is possibl with the kami power), and reenter the games to be with akashi again.

Ushimitsu has showned to truly and genuinely love akashi so I think the idea of him just waiting for akashi and potentislly be hated by him once he reveals he's the game master makes no sense, it's more likely he would sacrifice this revelating knowledge to be with akashi again.

Then we'd get a little bit of an epilogue chapter where memories erased ushimitsu meets akashi again and they're like "i feel like we know each other".

Better yet, imply in some way that the games we've watched throughout the series were already time reversed but by akashi, who remained the winner after ushimitsu died and he reverted time to be with ushimits in the same way ushimitsu did for him in this hypothical ending and that they're basiclaly be endinglessly looping time and bouncing the role of the last survivor between the 2 of them, hoping to somehow end up surviving together. This can be done in many ways such as:

- at the start of the series, show a little moment where a shadowy figure with short hair is making time reverse and erasing his memories

- having ushimitsu's first meeting with akashi be a bit more "i feel like we have a special bond" but not in an obvious way, just as an ushikitsu weird thing, but then have the series end with akashi being the one to revert the loop and erase his memories and when he meets ushimitsu again, akashi then utters the same "i feel like we have a special bond"
